K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts, Food, Games, and Things to Do In Austin

While down in Austin, i thought I'd give K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts a try as I heard some raves about it from a couple of buddies of mine down there. The hype was indeed quite real, especially with the bundle deal of two races (24 laps as one race is equal to 12 laps). It was a blast racing with my party. The area is quite spacious and has a ton of activities for any one of all ages.

First time visiting but it was extremely fun and we had a great time. The only downside I would suggest is that the on site arcade games are pretty boring and several of them are broken which limited what you could do between races, which sometimes was an hour or more, so just watching the other racers kind of got old sometimes. Good staff though and felt very safe.

Needs Improvement Despite a Fun Team-Building Atmosphere - Venue Appearance: The place looks great, creating a fun atmosphere, especially for team-building events. - Karts Condition: Unfortunately, many karts are in poor condition. My kart was shaking heavily throughout the ride. When I reported it on the end , so they pull it to fix it for other people, the employee acknowledged the issue, saying they were aware but hadn’t figured out how to fix it. - Feedback: Faulty karts should be removed from use to prevent ruining the experience for customers. - Breakdowns During Races: Another team member’s kart broke down in the middle of the race, further dampening the overall experience. - Positive Note: The end of our session was enjoyable, with a staff member creating a memorable medal ceremony. Ice packs were also provided to team members who needed them after some rough bumps during the race. *Suggestions for Improvement: - Ensure all karts are safe and functional before races. - Remove damaged karts to maintain a high-quality experience for guests. We appreciate the efforts of the staff

We had the most amazing time here and shoutout to manager when we didn’t feel equal to the other racers he offered a free pass to another race !!🙌🏽🥰 10/10 experience my kids definitely enjoyed it and the go karts were very nice and comfortable. All the games in the arcade worked and had my kids at them for hours after racing 🎊Thank yall for making my son and husband birthday a special day !

If you’re not first you’re past. Good place for corporate event. We did a qualifying round and then a fastest round and slowest round. Cool space, games and a bar. Wait times weren’t that bad and these go carts can rip if you get up to speed 4.

We had an awesome time at K1 Speed Indoor Kart today! We raced for 12 laps, and those karts were wicked fast! They've also got a bar, pool table, games, and a lounge inside. You should definitely check it out if you haven't already!

My first time to this place. I brought my 3 daughters, ages 30, 14 and 11. We all had a blast. The ladies and gentlemen who worked there were very helpful and gave us great advice as to what to expect while we were there. A great place to play, rest, and enjoy some family time together. I believe the memories will live on for many years!

Fun racing, but they made us pay $65 per person for 2 races instead of $50 because we called ahead and reserved a time. They never told me that it was an extra charge. We got nothing extra besides a “reserved time”. Not worth it. Save the $15 per person (over $120 total extra wasted for 8 people!) There were not many people at the time waiting, so it didn’t even save us any time. In addition, we paid for a game card to play the arcade games. We bought a round of pool, and they were missing 5 of the 16 balls! Then, we bought a game of Foosball and it came with so few balls that we barely had any points on the board by the time it was done.
