"The first JW Marriott in mainland China occupies floors 41 to 59 of the 60-story multi-use Tomorrow Square development. One of the city’s most distinctive buildings, its shape is often likened to the drill bit or a fountain pen. Rooms offer a sense of openness, courtesy of the architectural mirror adjacent to the headboard, and frosted glass on the closet and interior bath doors. Walls use fiddle-back makore (the wood used to make violins) in panels and silk-textured wallpapers as embellishment. I had a great experience in the JW Marriott Lounge with all the staff especially (Maria & Molly). They were very helpful with my inquiries and setting up my dinner arrangements. The lounge was very clean and tidy with a wonderful beverage and snack selection. I am looking forward to visiting the lounge again during my stay.

Great hotel that I’d happily stay in again. Excellent location right in People’s Square is central within Shanghai’s metro network, so getting around the city is a breeze. The hotel itself starts with the lobby above the 30th floor, with all guest rooms being higher still, so views are great. We payed a bit extra for a corner room and it was well worth it to have magnificent city views on two sides, including from the bathroom. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food, but the staff we interacted with were all friendly and knowledgeable.

It is my 2nd time to stay in JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai Tomorrow! Love it! |Will go back again!||The hotel with the great location and terrific views from room, is convenient to everywhere. |||The staffs from concierge to front desk, gym and club lounge, even the clean lady, are well trained but also very friendly and warm. ||Specially thanks Claire Wang in the front desk, her great and professional services make my 5 nights stay more amazing.

Nice hotel with great views over Shanghai. Decor is getting a little dated but is still in great condition and you can tell it is of a very high quality. Breakfast is good with a reasonable selection of both Asian and western breakfast options

This is my first time in Shanghai and also my first time staying at a hotel under the Marriott brand. I experienced the feeling of being at home here. The room has a great view and is clean and tidy. The cleaning ladies are also very enthusiastic and quickly deliver whatever they need. What impressed me the most was the staff on the sixth floor. Everyone was very enthusiastic and led me to transfer to the elevator. When I returned to my room, they helped me press the elevator in advance, saving me waiting time. I regret not staying longer this time. If needed next time, I would still prefer hotels under the Marriott brand!

This hotel is located in Shanghai center and is just perfect. The subway is conveniently located just down the road for easy access to any part of the city. The lobby is on the 38th, so when you arrive the view of Shanghai city lights is beautiful. Massive breakfast buffet, nice lobby bar, clean room and hotel staff so nice, friendly and helpful. Good location as its walking distance to Metro and Nanjing pedestrian walk. The hotel's breakfast is the same throughout and lack the usual Marriott's spread. Lacking in fruits and I could not believe they do not have marmalade. Pastries are lacking too The pillows are not suitable if u need a firmer one for head and neck support whilst sleeping. Even though I did request for one however it is the same. They need to improve this. Swimming pool is really a distance to go . Inconvenient. Otherwise other services met the standards.
