JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square

Came here with my family. Absolutely love it here! Room is clean and spacious. Location is quiet and easily accessible to places. Lounge and breakfast is good. We also met a very helpful and kind staff named Rachel. She’s absolutely an angel helping us with all our bookings and enquires! Marriott never fails!

Great service staff. Attentive and friendly. Know English well. Housekeeper is also great, clean room each day. Staff quick to act when calling. Room service in the middle of night was also good, food tasty and well presented. Shower good, hot constantly, nice bath and includes bath salts. Walk-in show drain a little slow to drive. Breakfast is also great and friendly, wide selection, fresh and nice selection of local flavors.

Location is near people’s square and there is a metro line nearby , less than 5 mins walk .|Hotel lobby starts on level 38 hence you will get panoramic view of the surrounding .||I had room on the 50 plus floor , only down side it has the afternoon sun .||Overall stay was positive , hotel looks a bit dated but the room was clean and well kept . You get tea and coffee making facilities in the room .|Bedding was comfortable , but why this review is getting 4 star is due to the uncomfortable pillow , totally soft and its sinks the moment your heads touches it .||Breakfast at lvl 38 had both selections of local and western cuisine., a noodle bar to customise your noodles be it dry or soup . You can select your desired ingredients ranging from vegetables to fish balls stuffed with meat .||You can book a room with club lounge access at level 59? They have breakfast , tea time and happy hour and canapés catered daily. ||I saw the tea time presentation and was disappointed , lack of selection and arrangement does not impress . Food items not topped up .

I had originally booked a 4-night stay but decided to shorten it to just one night. The hotel is a high-rise older property with a cozy atmosphere and smaller rooms. While it offers a lounge, I was disappointed to find that there were no vegetarian options available there, and the hot options at breakfast were quite limited.||As a Titanium member, I expected a bit more recognition of my loyalty, but unfortunately, the front desk did not seem to acknowledge my status. While they were understanding about my decision to check out early, the hotel did not make any extra effort to accommodate my dietary preferences, despite being a JW signature brand where service for loyal guests is generally prioritized.||In my experience, hotels within the JW Marriott family usually go above and beyond for their loyal guests, but this property did not seem to reflect that commitment for the high room price per night. English Language is a challenge with the front desk team.

I had a great experience in the JW Marriott Lounge with all the staff especially (Maria & Molly). They were very helpful with my inquiries and setting up my dinner arrangements. The lounge was very clean and tidy with a wonderful beverage and snack selection. I am looking forward to visiting the lounge again during my stay.

Love it! |Will go back again!||The hotel with the great location and terrific views from room, is convenient to everywhere. |||The staffs from concierge to front desk, gym and club lounge, even the clean lady, are well trained but also very friendly and warm. ||Specially thanks Claire Wang in the front desk, her great and professional services make my 5 nights stay more amazing.

Great hotel that I’d happily stay in again. Excellent location right in People’s Square is central within Shanghai’s metro network, so getting around the city is a breeze. The hotel itself starts with the lobby above the 30th floor, with all guest rooms being higher still, so views are great. We payed a bit extra for a corner room and it was well worth it to have magnificent city views on two sides, including from the bathroom. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food, but the staff we interacted with were all friendly and knowledgeable.

This hotel is located in Shanghai center and is just perfect. The subway is conveniently located just down the road for easy access to any part of the city. The lobby is on the 38th, so when you arrive the view of Shanghai city lights is beautiful. Massive breakfast buffet, nice lobby bar, clean room and hotel staff so nice, friendly and helpful.
