JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi

Love the atmosphere and friendliness of all stafs welcoming us. The staffs were amazing and incredible, as well as the food. We ordered afternoon high tea, thanks to recommendation of Hue. The set came out surprisingly better than expected with great visuals, also Duyen and Quynh Anh took really good care of us. My noticed that my friend’s kid didn’t have his own drink so she kindly offered him a cup of watermelon and he loved it. We were enjoying at the fullest till the end with the support of Linh for the payment. Thanks to Thuy, Ngoc and Hao’ warm welcoming, we had amazing memories with our friends.|Definitely will come back!

1 night stay on our last night in Vietnam with our family of 4 (2 young kids). As Bonvoy platinum elite we were upgraded to a beautiful 1 bedroom suite which was very nice. The breakfast buffet was impressive. The indoor rooftop pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were amazing. We did massages at the spa which were excellent. The staff in the executive lounge were amazing and went out of their way to help us buy movie tickets on the local app on their phone, also enjoyed the evening hor d voires at the club lounge. Also stayed a few nights in the old quarter in the Sofitel earlier in our trip which was more colonial/historic but the JW is great for business travel or if you want to be closer to the more modern part of the city.

We didn't stay here but visited my sister and my parents. It's a gorgeous hotel, very modern, but there is an odd smell to both the rooms we visited, almost mildew-like. When we arrived, they gave us cool complimentary towels and those were sour too, gave me a skin allergic reaction. The hotel is clean with great service and amenities though. Unfortunately one or two of the massage chairs were out of service when we were there. The buffet dinner was overall subpar, only the India section was good, the rest of the food only looks great but lacked in flavour or texture. Our stay at the Fraser was a lot more enjoyable.

We held trainings and a 300 person event at the JW Marriot. The service level was exceptional. They took amazing care of us and we never wanted for anything. They were prompt, friendly & knowledgeable. Big shout to Hien (Jean) in events, she was a superstar! ||Also, the rooms are big and comfortably and literally every staff member I interacted with was wonderful. They say hello every time they see you, remember your name and what you like to drink. ||HUGE shoutout to the staff at the Kumihimo, especially Huy, Quoc Cuong, Lien, and Duk. There are others I know I am forgetting but they are all just so wonderful and welcoming and friendly. I was there for 2 weeks and they made my stay a joy. I will miss seeing their smiling faces :) Also, food is great at the restaurant. ||Highly recommend this hotel for either personal or business. They will treat you like royalty.

Mr. Viet Anh, your impeccable service made each meal memorable, and Mr. Manh, your attention to detail and dedication to your cooking shined in the delicious dishes you created. The egg coffee is fantastic!||The location is a bit far afield however in my many years of traveling, I’ve never experienced service like this. Every single member of the JW Marriott Hanoi team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. I can’t wait to return and experience your world-class hospitality again. This has been the most exceptional hotel experience I’ve had at a Marriott property. I’ve stayed at many higher end Marriott properties - from the Edition in NYC to The Palace in San Francisco to the JW in Panama City to name a few - and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. I can say the staff here have gone beyond any expectations I had of service. Ms. Nga, the Guest Relations Officer, was so delightful throughout our experience from recommendations to conversation in the lounge, even a private tour of the hotel sharing some of the hidden experiences of the property. ||Ms. Do Eun Kim went above and beyond every time we stepped into the executive lounge. She had resources on exploring the city, recommendations for maximizing our time in Hanoi, and great answers to any and all questions we had. She was so kind to regularly check on us throughout our stay, recognizing us with a smile every time we crossed paths at the hotel. She really went above and beyond to make the JW Hanoi a home away from home from check in to departure and I can’t thank her enough for that. ||The rest of the staff in the executive lounge, the concierge, and the fitness center were all exceptionally kind, helpful, and sincere. Again adding to the incredible service I experience in Hanoi.||The property itself is incredible from the gardens to the Dragonsview, but the staff and their level of hospitality at this hotel really have made this one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with the Marriott portfolio.

The hotel facilities and staff are perfect. I was especially impressed by how kind Ms.Natalie was at the lounge reception. It was very helpful that she understood our poor English. Marriott hotel is the best hotel！ I would like to stay at this hotel again. Thank you very much！

One morning we did not see our favorite watermelon juice, so we asked why. She said the watermelon for that morning did not meet their sweetness standards so they refused to serve it.
