JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo

We stayed at this hotel for five nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding—attentive and proactive without being intrusive. Every department, from the porter and front desk to guest relations and the restaurant staff, displayed the same high standard of hospitality. It was a consistent delight that made our stay exceptionally comfortable and pleasant. |||Every morning, you're greeted with warm smiles from nearly every staff member in the lobby. On the morning of our early checkout, the reception staff kindly assisted us with our luggage. Guest Relations, Ms. Minobe, was exceptional—every restaurant she recommended was perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious.||We are staying on the 30th floor and our rooms offered a spectacular panoramic view. However, if you're sensitive to the faint sound of passing trains, you may prefer a room on the opposite side of the corridor for a quieter experience - 3011 - 3030.||The location of this property is incredibly strategic and convenient. Daimaru is just a 3-minute walk away, with several other shopping malls and a variety of restaurants nearby. Many popular destinations, like the Mitsukoshi department store, are within easy walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring the area.||I will stay in this hotel again if I visit Sapporo.

I did a lot of research for Sapporo luxury hotels and this hotel was rated #1 on tripadvisor and I cannot for the life of me understand why. The lobby is very nice but as soon as you step into the rooms it is very dated. Needs a complete remodel in all rooms. My husband and I even opted for a suite and lets just say that it was below any luxury standards. Small bathroom, beds as hard as a rock and towels that were not soft at all. Please make sure you dont stay at this property if you are looking for anything nice.

Our stay was perfect! The room was impeccably clean. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I do highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Very nice hotel. Literally located right next to the JR station, it is very convenient to commute to places with so many choices for shops and restaurants to choose from. I found this hotel by looking up a place with a natural hot spring bath in Sapporo. The JR Tower hotel provides that and much more from the moment of checking in. The buffet was awesome with plenty of choices, with great customer service. The bath house is very clean and well kept. The only drawback is that they also open to the general public during the day so I recommend you to go during morning time when it’s open for hotel guests only.

I would give it 6 stars if I can. The location is not just convenient by having it fully sheltered from the station, but there’s also a convenient store right at the basement after you exit. The room was clean, spacious, a good view and comes with fantastic amenities. The staff were super attentive and could help me book restaurant (tho it turned out fully booked already) and lent me scissors when I received my parcels. They even helped me to carry upstairs. I ate their Japanese restaurant Tanjo, and the sushi was fantastic. I also had a breakfast set at their Lounge and the Hokkaido bread didn’t disappoint.

The location was top-notch, and service was the best we have received from the hotels we stayed in this Japan trip. First-timer in Sapporo, I was anxious about getting to and finding the hotel from the Rapid Airport Liner. The website instructions were so helpful! We got to the hotel quite early and what a wonderful surprise that the room was available so we could freshen up from the travel! The room was clean, came with water bottles, and a wide array of in-room amenities, including comfy pajamas. Every staff member was courteous, setting extremely high expectations for every other hotel we stayed into. The location is the best, and everything is walking distance. Could not help but shop with all the malls connected and surrounding it. Restaurants were aplenty providing a wide array of choices. The breakfast international buffet was a good spread, and the Japanese one was also good.

The location is perfect, rooms are cozy and clean, the staff are very kind and helpful, and the view from the rooms are simply spectacular. It is a bit more expensive than other hotels in the area, but it is definitely worth it. 10/10. When I come to Sapporo again, I will definitely stay there.

We stayed on the 31st floor to enjoy the North view of beautiful city nightscape, sunset and sunrise. This well-recognized hotel has around 20-year history and most facilities are in good maintenance. Staff looked elegantly trained and ready to help guests. The ball pen in the room was beautiful so I asked front desk if I could bring it home. They gave me a new one, wrapped in their hotel gift bag. The breakfast buffet is on the 35th floor with pleasant food and atmosphere. The Onsen bath is not free but it’s worth the price to have quality service. We recommend Harmony Membership to enjoy early check-in, late check-out, and discount in reservation.

On the second leg of our japan trip we stayed at this hotel as our base for a few days as we explored other parts of hokkaido. Located directly next to the train station, this hotel is centrally located to the train and subway station. In addition, there is a Daimaru shopping center nearby with a basement food hall and plenty of other shopping options. You honestly cant beat the location if your a tourist. Because of the location the hotel does cater to tourists, and there are plenty of folks who speak english, and/or chinese. The staff here is also very helpful and accomodating and were able to store our luggage in between our stays as we ventured out for other day trips to other areas. Overall we felt that the room was clean and on par with other japanese style hotels. I know others have indicated that the room is somewhat small but having stayed at multiple hotels throughout japan, i would say that is very comparable. Overall a great location for any traveler.

Anyway, this hotel's location was quite super. This hotel was connected directly to the JR Sapporo station. That's quite convenient. This JR tower contained the Daimaru department store and the Stella place shopping mole. It had many shops and restaurants and cafes. That's also much convenient. Hotel itself was normal. Each room's breadth was very ordinary. Clean and cozy.Some amenity needs to request to have. This hotel's superiority was it's great breakfast buffet. Buffet restaurant was located at the top of the tower.The view was great.Variety and volume of buffet was quite super. It was occupied in Hokkaido specialties.You may reference my images. I like that this hotel is located close to the JR line (which is downstairs) and has many stores, shops and restaurants closeby. The room is a bit small, but it was ok for 4 girls. The shower could have been a bit smaller to give more room to the sink area, but I really liked that they gave haribrushes, toothbrushes, and razors in the room haha. Recommend when staying in Hokkaido!
