Small but nice restaurant for some good Korean tteokbokki. Service was quick and the food was delicious. We ordered the fried set, the rapokki(tteokbokki + ramen noodles), and the sausage and intestines set. If you’re not used to or familiar with eating pig intestines and organs, you may not like it, but otherwise, it was great. Also, keep in mind that the tteokbokki is decently spicy.

Jopok Topokki (조폭 떡볶이) is a renowned spot in Buena Park for Korean street foods, and my sister introduced me to this gem. From the moment we stepped in, the restaurant's atmosphere and the nostalgic pots used to serve the food instantly transported us to the old days in Korea.
Their 김밥 (Kimbap), 떡뽁이 (Tteokbokki), and oden are the perfect combinations that you absolutely must try. The way they prepare these dishes with utmost care, using fresh ingredients and matching containers, elevates both the taste and visual appeal of the food. Every bite was a delightful journey of flavors and textures.
I was so impressed by the overall dining experience that I can't wait to return on my next visit to see my sister. Jopok Topokki is truly a must-visit destination for anyone craving authentic and delicious Korean street foods.

It's good but I wish there was a smaller combo option like topokki + soondae for one. The two item size I find is too large for one person. Other than that, food is good.

Absolutely wonderful little place! During the summer I lived a 10 minute drive from Jopok and would order ahead and takeout which would only take 10-15 mins to make. My go to is the Cheese tteokbokki which comes with fish soup as well. Mild spicy, lotssss of melted cheese, and absolutely delicious. As far as I know there are only 2-3 people working here and they are all nice and super sweet. It’s usually not very busy, so the wait times aren’t super long. Please eat here— one of my favorite restaurants!

First time here and not going to be my last time. If you want to experience a bit of Korean "street food" I would say this is one of those places.
Got the Ddukpoki w/soondae, assorted fried dish and ohdang.
The reason for four stars is location and space.

They do give a bigger portion than other places but there seems to be only one sauce level. There is no way to control the level of spiciness which is a bummer.
The food seems to be not as fresh as others which I found it distasteful considering the prime location this place is located.

Amazing cozy Korean Tteokbokki restaurant, it’s a hole in the wall which is perfect for this kind of food!

The place is small. I would almost say it's cozy to the point of claustrophobic. About 10 tables inside the location and today was especially hectic for the server.
Only one person was taking orders, answering the phone, and prepping the to go orders. I'm hoping the staff shortage was due to Memorial Day. The ramen was the instant variety and spicy. The rice cakes were very chewy and were nostalgic of my childhood, but the blood sausages were almost too chewy. It was as if they put the rice cakes inside the sausages.
Parking is on Catalina, south of 6th street. Pay your $2 for valet or drive it in yourself. Parking is terrible during most of the day and worse during the night.
