I've been coming to this shop twice a year for the last 5 or 6 years and the quality of the clothing and sale service never wavers. You always receive a very warm welcome and there is always fantastic jazz music playing which adds to the shop's charm. The Ivy League clothing is second to none ad the staff are very well informed and never rush you. I've never left the shop without making a purchase. It's an Ivy League gem in a very cool part of London.

I remember visiting JS as a teenager (Squire Shop) in Kings Road. A regular customer and visitor when in Covent Garden. What an amazing collection of Ivy clothes and shoes. BD Baggies, Paraboot, Weejuns, Sebago, 'Royals' - brands that were and are still going strong years later. Definitely the best place to go for an inspiring collection of the best clothes, if you like Ivy. Always greeted as an old friend. Where else would you get that? Sadly, long term health issues have precluded me from making it to Chiltern Street but still a regular visitor to the JS website, and one day.....

Super reliable & expert purveyors of quality IVY type clothing that lasts…well selected and stylish stock with an emphasis on understated excellence. Their own label garments are smart, relaxed and being of the best fabrics and construction. Online services are great, packaged well with low key flair and delivered quickly…though a visit to Chiltern Street is a must for the full vibe, benefit of their charming mood, authoritative advice and decades worth of brand & styling experience. Decent Spotify playlist too. Great job Gents 💪🏼👍🏼 x

Having bought a few things from the John Simons website over the years I popped into the shop when in London earlier this week. Greeted at the door by the attentive and friendly assistant Sean (who I later had a quick natter to about watches) I was really impressed by the general ambiance of the place, it somehow has the feel that you've gone round a mate's house who has decked it out really interestingly and he just happens to sell clothes there. Sean couldn't have been more knowledgeable and helped me pick out a couple of pairs of chinos and one of their classic Ivy League shirts. It's a wonderful gaff and I look forward to going back and blowing some more of my hard earned cash on their lovely clobber soon.

My favorite place in London. Not my favorite shop, my favorite place. Period. Amazing items, authentic Ivy and old school prep. Cool setup too, like you’re walking back in time. Service is second to none. They’re happy to talk with you all about the product (an amazingly knowledgeable staff) regardless of whether you buy it or not. Great clothes, great people. John is a legend.

The Shop is unreal. The clothes are absolute quality and the way theyre presented is detailed and simply artful. All the staff know their Job and the things they sell. If youre about at chiltern street give them a visit its worth it.

All items are beautiful, very well made, crisp, perfect fit. The customer service via email was excellent. Can not thank them enough.
