"Shopping Under Century-Old Stone Arches The striking Im Viadukt opened in 2010 beneath century-old stone arches with Zurich’s first permanent covered market and 50 vendors. At Berg und Tal, owners Simon Rietschin and Daniel Rufli stock their food shop with items sourced mostly from within Switzerland and purchased directly from the producer, from sausages to the more unexpected, like Lindenblüten teas from the Swiss mountainside and absinthe made from angelica and grande wormwood from Val-de-Tavers. The wine shop Südhang sells small production bottlings including those made with grapes grown around Zurich , and Tritt-Käse specializes in local raw milk cheeses. Photo © Ralph Hut/Im Viadukt."

I love this cafe. The love that goes into everything that is served is immense. Love the little treat they give you with your coffee/ tea. The matcha latte was very warming and well made. The vegan sandwich was extremely delicious.

there’s a playground just a couple of meters from this coffee shop, and yesterday (sunday) my little one had a small fall while playing. i went in to ask if they had a first aid kit, and the young lady working was so friendly. she handed me disinfectant wipes and a roll of bandage. they didn’t have a plaster, but it still helped a lot. a little later, i went back to order a tea and thank her again. really appreciated the kindness and willingness to help, even before i was a customer.

While the atmosphere is top, the drink offering is rather arcaic and not including healthy options. For example, there is only oat milk as plant-based option which is known to be terrible for health and longevity, especially when combined with a super sweet chai latte syrup. It is frustrating to not find convenient, integrative options of a healthy drink around here

Great place to work with a laptop without huge crowds but very limited menu and only OK baked goods
