The hype around the salt bread in Korea is totally justified. It’s incredibly buttery with a beautifully crisp outside and soft, fluffy inside. The aroma alone is enough to draw you in — rich, warm, and irresistible. Every bite is full of flavor without being too heavy. Easily one of the best pastries I’ve had. Don’t miss it if you’re in Korea!

Absolute must try if you’re in Seongsu. You’ll know you’re nearby once you smell the intense, inviting aroma of freshly baked bread. The bakery truly smells divine and irresistible. I came around 10 in the morning and it was raining, so it wasn’t super busy, and I only waited about 15 minutes. The only available item is the four pack of salt bread. The bread was so warm, soft, buttery, salty, and crispy on the outside, and it simply tasted like it was made with love. This is a phenomenal pastry that is completely worth the hype!!

We went here about 2:30 on a Saturday in June. Yes, it was hot and yes, there was a line. But as people say, it moves quickly. If you want to pay by credit card, you can go up to the kiosks to place the order and get in line. If you pay by cash, just get in line. There is basically one item to order--salt bread. I think it is 4 pieces for 12,000 KRW. That is all your choices. Simple. Order as many as you want. It is buttery, salty, and if you like that, you won't be disappointed.

Too much hype for a couple of croissants, buttery for sure, the taste is good but you can feel how oily its is. You order from the machine directly, english option available and straight forward payment method. The downside in the other hand is that there is only one option for a set of 4 croissants (i was alone) so i had to take it, and the cost is almost 9/10$ which i find a bit exaggerated for croissants. Just bare in mind there could be very long queues if you come at a pick hour, and there is no sitting area. Make sure you have some tissues as they provide any.

I had high hopes for this place, especially because I remembered the amazing salt bread I once had in Apgujeong. Unfortunately, the one I had here was a big letdown — it was soggy, and the inside was drenched in butter to the point of being overwhelming. Honestly, it’s not worth waiting in line for. There are much better salt bread spots in Seongsu. Skip this one.

Fluffy, buttery, salty salt-bread - who doesn’t love it? It was a rainy day, but the store was still quite busy. Order from the machine on the right side and queue up on the left to collect your bread. There was almost no waiting time despite the queue, as the staff simply passed the already-packed bread to customers upon checking the ticket. Only available in packs of four. Maybe I happened to get a batch that had already cooled down, it was less impressive than expected and a bit too oily for me.

Long but fast moving queue, one of the better salt breads I had in Korea. Crispy, oily, fragrant, fluffy, balanced, good on its own!

Aesthetically pleasing shop not difficult to find, just at the corner of the road. Even if you do, the crowd would most probably make you tirn your head as there’s always a crowd. They sell in a pack of 4, and woh i can say is i love how the bread tasted. The blend of butter and the bun being salted (really can taste and not biting on salt) is a real pleasure. They look normal but they do not taste normal. The bread are soft, and slightly oily which i guess is because of the abundance of butter used. Stop by, i believe you will not be disappointed. Eat it while it’s hot!! Pay at the vending machine first then go to the counter to collect.
