J&J La Casa del Habano Cabo

A great stop in Cabo for something different. For starters, they are known for their Mojitos which I HIGHLY recommend you stop by for, you can drink there or take to go. They are large and the best you will ever have. They also have a great selection of cigars if interested and also have a solid selection of good tequilas which you can taste - a great group activity.

I want to go back to Cabo just for this place. Roxy and Jimmy were very knowledgeable about the tequila and Mezcal they offered and were so much fun to talk to! Hubs and I had a Cuban in their smoke lounge with some Mezcal and it was a very enjoyable experience. Mojitos are quite tasty as well!

My fiancé and I decided to check out this place due to good ratings on Google. We were excited to try a new cigar lounge in Cabo since we visit here a lot. Upon arrival, the girl greeted us and showed us some great cigars. When ordering a drink, I got an espresso martini with tequila. When I received my drink it was repulsive! I told the man that I liked it because I'm not the type to complain. But after taking my second sip.. I couldn't do it! I went back to the bar and asked him to make me a different Drink (figured if he remade the espresso martini, it was going to be disgusting again). I told him that it was not good and this is not the taste of an espresso martini. Coming to find out… They didn't have Baileys!? The lady also Stated to me that "You should've told us how to make it". Unfortunately, I didn't graduate bartending school So I'm not too sure on how to make it, but I do know the ingredients inside it. However, the guy was frustrated and made me a new drink. I requested a margarita since I know it is simple to make.. They definitely overfilled it with ice, but at that point I was over it. Let me mention, they did not ask if I wanted another drink... or if this drink was tasting any better!?. After we finish our cigars, we had closed out with the lady upfront. When getting ready to pay, I realized that they charged us for the espresso martini and somehow two drinks for the margaritas when I only ordered one Margarita. My fiancé and I were so disgruntled... We just paid for it and left no tip. Hopefully this establishment can make it right for the next customer... Cigars were 7/10 pretty decent...

I did a ton of homework before my cruise and I just wanted to find legit Cuban cigars. I'm not rich so I can't buy boxes of MonteCristo or Romro Y Julieta cigars. They are super pricey and it's just not for me. But, as a license Cuban cigar retailer, this shop has tons of options at various price points. You can pick up a box of sticks for $150, $250, $750, $1,500 or more. That's the best possible situation for cigar smokers. Variety. If I lived in Cabo (hopefully some day) I'd be here all the time. The VIP lounge in back is super dope and chill. TV's to watch sports, full bar to get your drink on and lots and lots of space to relax.

I looked forward to picking a few cigars on our trip to Cabo, but when I looked at their cigars, I saw many with mold on them. Not plume. I did not want to be rude and ask about it, so it was a hard pass on buying any cigar from their collection. This was on 10/10/24

Best selection of authentic Cuban cigars ive found in Mexico. The humidor is well-maintained, and all cigars were in perfect condition. They offer a warranty when puchasing a sealed box, which entails them opening and inspecting each cigar individually upon purchase. When a cigar showed signs that a tobacco beetle had been present in the first box, they quickly replaced it with a new one. This was reassuring after spending $500+ (USD). Staff are very helpful and pleasant to de with. Highly recommend, will be returning.

Real deal Habanos thats all I can say. Be prepared to pay the price. People think they will come here and find cubans cheap because you're in Mexico but you are sadly mistaken. It is what it is. I buy my Havana club bottles here. Mojitos are good but pricey. Im not complaining just giving you heads up before you think your gonna walk out with a box of cubans for 100 bucks its not gonna happen.
