Nestled in the lively Ironside complex, this charming pizzeria dishes out customizable Neapolitan pies in a breezy, picturesque outdoor space.
"Ironside is a solid pizza place with spacious outdoor seating in a lush courtyard. The space is nice and spread out—with both small tables great for couples and very big groups. Unless it’s unbearably hot, sit outside. That outdoor seating is the best part about this place, and it's ideal for everything from dates to dinner with a few friends you haven't seen in way too long. The menu includes salads, pasta, and some small plates, but the Neapolitan pies are what you should focus on." - ryan pfeffer
"This longstanding Italian favorite, nestled inside the up-and-coming Ironside complex, has long been a favorite for classic, perfectly charred, Neapolitan-style pizzas with the right combination of crunch and chew. Its newly revamped digs add even more covered outdoor seating, while its large assortment of pizzas is perfect to pair with the restaurant's BYOB roots, encouraging guests to bring their favorite bottle of vino to pair with its extensive variety of pizza for just a $20 corkage fee." - Olee Fowler
"An outdoor table at Ironside is going to be lovely no matter when you come. At lunch, the courtyard is sunny and bright, with lots of trees, plants, and occasional live music during the weekend. At night, string lights hang over the tables and create an ideal mood for a pizza date, which is usually what we end up ordering here. This place is BYOB, so pick up some beer or wine before you come. It's also very family-friendly, so expect to see some kids darting between tables. " - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
