After my treatment, my skin was glowing and I was in a state of absolute serenity from Holly’s warm and healing energy. From check in to check out, it was a blissful experience and I can’t wait to return soon. I love that the lounge area is flooded with natural light. Great facilities, attentive staff, and world-class masseuses. And, it's one of the few (only?) places with steam & sauna in Marin. Can't say better things about Erin, and her Deep Tissue massage. Of hundreds of massages at the best spas in the Bay Area, Vegas, and abroad, she delivered quite possibly the best massage I've had. She has a sixth sense for finding and working through knots, incredible elbow control, and a friendly attitude focused on catering to the customer's needs. A+ service from Erin - she is truly special. We'll be back!

My second review on this fabulous spa I have been getting massages in Marin for years and yet this last time with Zoey was the best massage ever!! And the amenities are wonderful too..steam and sauna in ladies locker..I could spend an entire day here!!

Came here for my birthday and had the best massage. The whole experience was very relaxing. I did arrive early so that I could enjoy the sauna and steam room. Worth the drive across the bridge. Can't wait to come back!

This is hands down the best local spa. I have a monthly massage membership, and my spa day once a month not only helps with physical ailments and easing nerve pain from multiple sclerosis but also gives me a chance to escape mentally for a few hours. Even though it is in the middle of the Country Mart, it feels like another world of paradise when you step in. The outdoor deck overlooking the bay with a soothing fountain and indoor lounge with a fireplace and tea and chocolate rejuvenate my soul like a minivacation without having to travel. The staff are super friendly, and the facilities are devine.

I've been going here for years, IO is fantastic. Sometimes can be tricky to get an appointment, especially if you're coordinating a time with a friend - but otherwise absolutely great. Easy location for me to pop out during lunch hour or when I have a half day at work.

Surprise your better half with a nice soothing massage. This unique space is located on the 2nd floor of this bustling Marin Country Mart. They used to have a location in SF, no more. There's a hot sauna, shower, lockers, and a nice lounge area while you wait for your massage. The waiting area offered refreshing water with lemon and hot tea; however, I didn't see any snacks. When I asked for some, the front desk brought some dried apricots & dark chocolate. Just a note, on a hot day, the chocolates will melt. There's no hot tub or ice bath; I don't think it can accommodate such amenities. The heated bed is a nice touch. I like the fancy toilets. I highly recommend the 90-minute massage, anything less will have you wanting more. They also offer facials. 'Til we meet again ~ cheers & see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

I was gifted a gift certificate here for my birthday, and prior to this, I hadn't ever heard of IO! Woww. I love it here. From the aesthetic, to the all the different community spaces (sauna, lounge area, outdoor area, etc), to the services received, this place was a 10/10 for me. I got the 60min IO signature facial and it was game changing. I left feeling like a poreless, glazed donut lol. Next time I come back, I plan to come a little early so I can use the other services that are included when getting a service done here :) such a fun experience!

We come from San Francisco to get massages here. The spa services are good, but it's the ambiance we love. Both my partner and I like to go early to go in the steam and sauna and sit on the deck in silence, drinking tea. It's really meditative!

If you're in need of an excellent aesthetician, look no further than Elani at International Orange. Her facials are so results-oriented and detailed, and her demeanor is truly lovely. If you have the time I recommend an 80 min facial. I'm converted because the longer session leaves so much more time for attention to your skin. And we're here for ALL the bells and whistles of the 80min session... more expert massage moments and a relaxing, spiritual flow to the treatment. I always leave Elani's facials feeling so peaceful, and see results and beautiful skin soon after my visit.

Perfect place for a group spa outing. Lovely patio and sitting room while you wait. Top notch facials. Followed it with a lunch at Farm shop.

I have given this place so many chances and I am always disappointed. Extremely overpriced for what it is. Go to Napa. Women's locker room is SO small. Difficult to say there are amenities. I have tried different masseuses and regardless of feedback always get limited pressure massages. Was really hoping for more but constantly let down.

I love the beautiful modern and minimalist design of this spa. It feels very luxurious and high end. Love the robes, the sun deck and lounge area are beautiful. Great sauna too. Love the tea and snacks in the lounge. I came here after a bad experience at Cavallo Point Spa and I was very happy with the massage and everyone was very nice as well.

I just received one of the best massages I've ever experienced. The 60-min Relaxation was divine, perfect pressure and full-body. Amazing amenities too. Highly recommend.

Treated myself to a spa day after a friend recommendation and was not disappointed. The lobby area is serene and beautifully curated with products to purchase. The attendant was very friendly and gave me a quick tour of the facility. There is a cozy waiting room, outside lounge area, locker room, and all of the amenities were great. My 90 minute massage was amazing and was happy that I splurged on the extended time. The spa is located on the second story above a lovely shopping center filled with great restaurants and shops. I will be back for sure.

I was a bit nervous at first. Reading some of the most recent reviews I thought I was in for a doozy but I had a gift card so had to try. I was very pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in everyone was very kind. I had 90 min deep tissue and I sure did need it. Marissa was GREAT!!! I can't see myself going to anyone else. She's simply amazing. She felt like a massage doula lol. She even asked permission to touch my hair or if oil was safe near the neckline . Her cultural competency in that was an added plus. The steam sauna and lounge were great too. Everything was very clean and though we were masked up I left feeling great. All I have to say is MY experience was great. I'm so glad I didn't flake bc of other reviews here. Clearly we have some boujee customers or those who aren't familiar with massage services at all. I most definitely will be back.

Avoid Marissa at all costs. Went for a deep tissue massage and it was in no way shape or form a massage at all. This person basically pressed their finger into my arms and upper back only until it moved a little. It is insanity to call this a massage! Was too chatty talking about nonsense and making odd remarks like a porn movie "ooh that was a big release, I like that, did that feel good?" Was quite disturbing. Even after I made it pretty clear I wanted the treatment to be silent. I looked up where this person studied massage and it was permanently closed, could be fake. It felt like this person's training was from watching a YouTube video. Do they even evaluate who they hire, or can anyone off the street come work here? Has anyone here been to a 5-star resort for a massage? That's what they should be striving for. I've had better massages at strip mall places.

Thought to give this place a try but unfortunately didn't go as planned. Went there for my bday thinking it would be a nice way to end the day. My husband and I went in the evening. The massage itself was ok but I personally didn't feel like it was a full body massage. For my husband unfortunately he came out with a black eye and a headache. Not sure how hard the guy was doing the massage on him but that's to bad. It's been a week and we are still talking about it.

Gabriel is amazing! I was having pain in my neck and shoulder blade areas so was grateful to book a 60-minute deep tissue massage last minute. Gabriel asked what areas I wanted him to concentrate on, which he did do, but he also gave me a full body massage. He was very professional and provided extra attention to the areas that needed relief. This was definitely one of the best massages I have ever had! As he is very skilled and talented, I highly recommend Gabriel!

This is our go to place. I used to work for them in Sf and have to say they are so wonderful to their employees. So you can feel good about not just the person providing your service but the entire staff of just so lovely. I love this place because I can say without a doubt ANYONE you see here will give you the highest quality service be it a massage or facial. This facility is absolutely gorgeous and relaxing, it has a clean yet warm feel and you feel just completely refreshed when you leave, me and my husband personally are a huge fan of their bidet toilets hahaha, they are great! Take advantage of the steam room and dry sauna. I recommend Sabrina for a massage. She did my prenatal massages and I can't wait to see her again. Also I highly recommend the IO products such as their natural deodorant and shampoo and conditioner. I use their deodorant every day and it makes me feel like I'm at there! Save yourself some time and just get your massage here! Highly trained and educated, they give continuous education to their therapists so you know they are always up todate and have their skills refreshed.

Best massage I've ever had!!! I was a little hesitant to have a male masseuse but Phil was incredible. It was a borderline spiritual experience to work with him and I cannot recommend enough. Would come back here just to work with him!

Had high hopes as I used to go to the one in SF but left feeling worse than when I walked in. I had to ask multiple times for my masseuse to add more pressure and while I wanted a traditional Swedish massage, she incorporated all these strange, ineffective techniques that made my ailments worse. She was incredibly sweet and tried hard but it was not working and unfortunately, my neck has been in pain since I left. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk as I was closing out and she asked about my experience, I mentioned that it was just okay and she could not care less. She did nothing to get more information on my experience nor try to remedy it. Definitely will not be coming back to IO.

I got a facial on 10-16-2021 with Danielle. It was amazing! I felt very welcome and it was nice that it wasn't too busy. I enjoyed the sauna and showers after my facial as well. Danielle made the experience very relaxing. She also gave me some recommendations, but it didn't feel like she was just trying to sell me on product. I will definitely be back!

I was highly disappointed with the "ambiance" of this spa for the amount of money I spent on my massage $200! (with tip). I don't know about you, but I go to a spa for the experience; this place did not give me what I was looking for. Everything was stark white and sterile and plain. It was way too hot, I had to ask my masseuse to turn on a fan. The towel I used after my shower had makeup all over it. The outside deck smelled like a dirty diaper from the bay across the street. There are so many other spas that are far better than this one. Don't waste your money. I will say, my masseuse and the front desk woman were very nice, no problem with the client services.

Like most, maybe, I haven't had a body massage in two years. However, I don't think this is why I feel this was the best massage I ever had! I hate to give him a name since he will probably become too busy for me to book him again. Regardless, international orange should know how exceptional he is! Gabriel, did a phenomenal job with a Thai/Swedish massage. He covered every inch of my body and I left there feeling incredible. Thank you!!

This place is the absolute BEST! Such a relaxing place to just unwind. The services are great also. I mostly go for eyebrow waxing and deep tissue massages. I get severe migraines, so the focus is usually around my neck and shoulder area. They make it a point to leave extra time at the end to do stretches for the neck and also work on all the pressure point areas that can take away migraine pain. The staff is very accommodating getting you into an appointment as soon as possible if needed. All around an amazing place and experience!

Had a great massage performed by Kelly. She really listens to you and also to your body, ensuring you have the best experience. I greatly appreciated her attentiveness. The spa as a whole had great ambiance. The waiting room is minimalistic and comfortable, with tea, lemon water, and dried apricot and dark chocolate available for you to nibble while passing the time. The locker room was great. You immediately change into a robe and can use the showers and sauna to get even more relaxed after your spa experience. Complimentary razors and shower caps are available, which is great if you're transitioning from the spa to a social outing. Customer service was a positive experience, staff was very pleasant. I used to love this place, but recently the facial services and staff have been absolutely horrible. I expect more from a $200 facial and am so disappointed. The IO experience used to be something really special. Now it's just a huge waste of money. Also the manger Regina was extremely rude to me. This place does not care about the quality of their services or customers anymore, it's a shame. Save your money.

Went for the first time Sunday afternoon. I had 60 minute Swedish massage and the massage was so so. The facility itself was nice and I enjoyed the lounge area quite a bit with water, tea and small snacks. I also enjoyed the steam and dry saunas. I paid $145 for the massage use of the facility and and an additional $29 tip. It was more than I typically pay and not as great as my usual massage. I likely would not return.

Really frustrating experience here today. I had a deep tissue massage and facial scheduled today. I am in the midst of chemo and wanted to really treat myself. I made the appointment weeks ago and they have a policy that they can't do deep tissue if you're having chemo ( though I cleared it with my MD and told them that when booking my appointments; scheduling staff said I could decide what type of massage I wanted when I arrived)). I arrive today and my masseuse tells me she won't do a deep tissue massage only oncology ( I was ok with this, I wanted to escape my head space so didn't care). The massage was pleasant. After my massage, before I even got up from the table, when I most most relaxed, the masseuse tells me that IO won't allow me to have my scheduled facial because I'm getting chemo- what?! I was just at IO 3 months ago for a facial ( was getting chemo then too and no one said that there was a policy regarding facials and chemotherapy). Today, the manager and masseuse chalked it up to "an over sight" and I'm really irked. I was mad as hell, but didn't want to make a stink, and feel I should have been compensated in some way- either a rain check or discount on today's service, but as I was checking out they offered me dried apricots??!? I'm pretty frustrated ( an understatement) both that such an oversight should occur ( are the front desk staff not properly trained? Is there too much turnover due to COVID?), and equally irritated that what I thought was the best place in Marin for a facial, is dropping the ball in this way! As a wellness based business, if you disappoint a loyal customer like this, you should at least make an effort to right the wrong. Poor front desk communication, attention to detail and an awful inability to make the customer feel taken care of (especially when a small business, in a time when small businesses may be struggling- they did have to shutter their SF location post lock down)! Not. Ok.

IO gets 5 stars because of their great people! After a terrible experience at the cosmetics store nearby, I entered the spa emotionally wounded. I tend to take poor service personally. At the front desk, the young woman who checked me in went above and beyond when I asked a casual question about ferry tickets. She looked it up for me on her computer, which I could have done myself. I was lucky enough to get Csilla Erdelyi for my massage. She is wonderfully intuitive and you can feel her kind and powerful, healing energy through out the experience. Csilla has a great grasp of relationships of ailments and body parts and was able to give me great relief from chronic discomfort. She is a huge asset to your organization. I enjoyed the sauna and steam prior to my treatment and the olena tea was a wonderful amenity.

Minimalistic decor, white everywhere. The bathroom/ locker rooms are small but have a sauna and steam room in them every guest can use. I got a facial and ended up walking out with skin worse than I went in with because they didn't know how to do extractions. After, I went to take a shower and the shower curtain was moldy!! For how extremely expensive the services are, they should at least change out the shower curtains...

Came here for a facial and massage the day before my wedding with my bridesmaids and some family.. beautiful Deck to watch the boats and my maid of honor brought a delicious spread! We were all insanely relaxed at the rehearsal everyone thought we were on pharmaceuticals! bless that amazing staff!!! Def coming back with the best memories!

IO is receiving a 5-star review because of Braz who is an amazing masseuse. I will definitely be going back because of his outstanding deep tissue massage and use of essential oils. It was very relaxing and the pressure was on point. If the massage were not so great this place would have gotten definite minus points because they misbooked my appointment--booked as a 60 when should have been a 90. Braz made up for it a bit by throwing in an extra 15 minutes. Also the spa manager gave a discount for next time. I wish they had a steam room. The spa is clean and well stocked. The location is great. I will definitely be going back to visit Braz.

What a special healing experience! I left glowing and at peace. My lovely esthetician, SUMMER, made sure I had the best facial I had ever had. I had the new Organic Detox facial. She was attentive, focused and very present throughout the facial. I felt at ease and pampered. She had beautiful curated ambient music playing, and created a deeply immersive experience. The products she had used felt and smelled amazing, I ended up grabbing a few afterwards. Truly a luxurious treat! I can't recommend her services enough, and the spa is gorgeous. You will love your facial!

There are many things I enjoy in life worth sharing - but an unforgettable massage tops the ranks! International Orange is a delightful Spa. I've had a couple injuries in my life and visited many healing arts therapist and had countess massages, but I must say that KELLY at International Orange in Larkspur was phenomenal! Kelly explained to me some of her training and the amount of hours it took her to get to the level of massage she is at. I wouldn't doubt it, Kelly was incredible. Thank you to all the lovely staff at International Orange for making my Spa day unforgettable. It's been over a week now since my massage and I still feel the lasting positive effects . Can't wait for my next visit . I highly recommend seeing if Kelly is available, but don't get upset if she's not- all the therapist there are amazing.

Booked a couples massage recently and it was great. The spa itself is great, and very clean. We will definitely be returning! The only negative would be they don't serve champagne or anything which would be nice to sit with on the deck but everything else was 5 stars. I recommend this spa for a facial or massage.

I got my first massage since covid today from Marissa & it was honestly a religious experience. I did a 60 minute deep tissue and Marissa understood what my body needed more than any masseuse I've ever had. My back feels better than it has in years. Everything felt very safe & clean as well. Cannot recommend Marissa or IO enough, it was a much needed reprieve from the dumpster fire that is 2020. Thank you!

First time here, and it's a lovely little spa. Got a nice modern vibe. Spa is clean. Amenities include: lockers, robes, flip flops, towels, flavored waters, tea, chocolate, dried apricots, steam room, sauna, shower, indoor and outdoor lounges. I had a relaxing massage, that was performed well. I think $140 for a massage is a bit steep, especially when a tip is tacked on. So less one star for that.

This place is absolutely incredible. I have been here for 3 massages and all of them were top quality and left me feeling amazing. The ambiance is quiet and peaceful. I only wish I could go here more often!

Braz was amazing! He mad me feel comfortable and knew exactly what to do. He did a few techniques that were new to me and I thought that was cool. The spa was very clean.

I had the most "ahhhsome" massage this week with Xavier! I came in with shoulder pain and left feeling relaxed and pampered and with increased mobility and a lot less pain in my shoulder! And IO is such a lovely and relaxing place to spend the afternoon! The space is gorgeous and the attention to detail is remarkable: the lobby is filled with a wonderful assortment of products for personal care and gifting, the women's changing room contains amazing personal care products & amenities and the lounge is so serene (with a view and stocked with delicious snacks, herbal teas and water). I'm thinking a few more sessions with Xavier at IO Larkspur will be the perfect gift to myself (and a therapeutic de-stresser) this holiday season!

I just visited IO Spa and WASTED $400!! I am incredibly disappointed in this place and more importantly, in the Manager, Isabelle. I spoke with her to give her feedback on how uncomfortably hot the rooms were, especially the lounge area, where they had the doors wide open, the curtains open and the a/c off while it was 90 degrees outside! I further explained that my massage wasn't what I'd hoped for a spa of this caliber and that I was disappointed there weren't any pillows in the facial room- I was expected to lie flat on my back without any neck support! Isabelle's response was a simple, "sorry you feel that way"! She was so rude and acted as though she really didn't care what I thought. She argued with me about the lounge room and stated that she couldn't control the temperature of the rooms. When I asked for the owners contact info, she told me I could email HER and she's forward to owner. Ya, sure. I will NEVER return!!! I just spent all that money for nothing!

Love this place. I've gone twice and both perfect experiences. All organic products. Make sure to have time before or after to utilize the rest of the spa.
