InterContinental Abu Dhabi, an IHG Hotel

Amazing Dining Experience! I recently visited CHO GAO Marina Walk and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Japanese food was a standout and is a must-try! The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and excellent service! Sabina’s attention to detail and genuine care for the guests stood out. She was attentive without being intrusive, offered great recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. Kudos to Sabina and the entire team for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing Sabina again!

Very good hotel with very attentive service. Also Service in the club lounge is very good. The only downside is that the rooms need renovations. They are clean but old. Also balconies would be fine as the view from sea view rooms are so nice. Helen from kids club is nice with the kids and creates nice face painting. Our daughter loved her.

We spent a nice week with wife and son in Intercontinental.||Best things about it:|- Big palm garden with plenty of different spaces to chill|- Nice beach (not long but it's normal in Abu Dhabi hotels plus it's one of the biggest you can get here I think|- Lobby and rooms have nice Arabic style I recommend to look for amazing and huge event rooms'spaces hidden in the corridors :) )|- Very good dinner with a lot of local food we really loved (both sweets and main courses)|- Nice rooms with great service and cool evening view on the marina (that's unique view among Abu Dhabi hotels I think)|- Of course great stuff everywhere around hotel|- Pools are big and baby pool + playground is very nice. There's also indoor kids room but during our stay it was closed for some reason, but we spent more time in the garden. |- It's also good place if you like watching sport as the outside area has bar with huge screen |- It got big parking and taxis at the entrance too.|- Even though construction year of this hotel is old I find it very well maintained and not much outstanding from the new ones. I would say it's classic and this history has it's charm.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the last leg of our honeymoon. All staff in particular concierge were professional and friendly throughout our stay, we were able to add an additional night to our stay with no issue which was helpful for a late flight. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, they were spacious and had all relevant amenities- 4* given as some interior aspects could benefit for an update but overall would recommend this hotel!

It’s a very nice hotel. We stayed there for a weekend due to the participation in Abu Dhabi Marathon, which was held nearby. The location is very nice, also we got a beautiful view overlooking the water and yachts and boats. There are quite a few restaurants with the outside seating which is very enjoyable during the current winter season. Also the hotel has a beach access and a pool - for kids and adults. There is some entertainment for kids and adults as ping pong and some other activities. There’s a good place for a promenade at the sunset, where you can enjoy the magnificent colors of the sky first, and then, after dark — the lights of the territory and nearby buildings. As for the room — it’s spacious and nice, though the light switch system is very inconvenient to use — there’s some dashboard, and good luck with guessing which button to push. Also, we didn’t find the pillows as comfortable. We requested a different type, but got the same, that was a bit disappointing, as it didn’t allow to have a proper good night rest. The personnel is very courteous and attentive, the communication was pleasant. And the breakfast is really good with a nice selection of food and drinks.

I visited for the first time. My stay was a success. All thanks to front office staffs, they made my stay amazing. Solomon was excellent with his work, his smile while welcoming you is unmatched. Highly recommend this hotel

What an amazing hotel, the kids enjoyed the face painting with Ms.Helen , the lifeguard Surya was watching over my kids while swimming. There are too many options for the games which you sign and get from the towel section. We will definitely come back to again.
