InterContinental Abu Dhabi, an IHG Hotel

From the moment I called for booking and at arrival, I was impressed by the warm welcome, seamless check-in process, and the overall hospitality demonstrated by InterContinental Abu Dhabi staff Mr. Raouf, Ms. Renie. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and provided a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The service at hotel restaurant/spa/facility was outstanding, and the dining experience was nothing short of delightful, with a great selection of delicious meals. Thanks for Ms. Melanie for here care and professionalism. I also want to highlight the hotel’s excellent amenities, including , such as the pools, Sauna, gym, concierge service, Everything was well-maintained, contributing to a truly relaxing and luxurious experience.

Really lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Buffet breakfast had really good range of options and was nicely presented. For swimmers you are well catered for, the hotel pool was open 7am-8pm, is lifeguarded and you could do a diagonal length of about 27 metres. Lifeguards Jason and Shine was really friendly and helpful. The Beach club has a slightly smaller pool, but smaller kids pools as well. The beach has a swimming area and could do about a 100m swim.||Concierge were really helpful with organizing trips, such as Desert Adventure. Location is good and whole area felt very safe. It's easy to either walk down towards the palace, marina mall or towards the corniche or grab a cab from the hotel or dial an uber.

Amazing Dining Experience! I recently visited CHO GAO Marina Walk and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Japanese food was a standout and is a must-try! The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and excellent service! Sabina’s attention to detail and genuine care for the guests stood out. She was attentive without being intrusive, offered great recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. Kudos to Sabina and the entire team for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing Sabina again!

I had been in intercontinental Abu Dhabi for more than 2 weeks, the sat was amazing and staff are kindly . The staff at reception during check in try to do their best to meet the guest requirements and exportation and all other staff. Also, I need to thank all staff at lounge where I daily interact with them. Last point I would like to share , the senior staff where you can find them and try to approach to guest and check if everything is going well and if have any problem I have noticed that Mr. Raof tried to approach first with lovely smile to ensure everything is going well at lounge during dinner time Again , it was fantastic stay and thank you to all stafg

The real highlight of our stay at the Intercontinental Hotel was the staff. From the moment we arrived they made us feel so welcome and wouldn't let us do anything without them helping us. I have to say a special thanks to Jason, Shine and Milan for looking after us at the level 3 pool area. They showed genuine interest in us, chatted with us throughout our stay and were genuinely concerned that we had the best of times while we were with them. They are an absolute credit to the company. And it wasnt just us, they showed the same care and attention to the other guests too. In terms of the hotel itself, I think it could do with a bit of renovation as most things were very worn and old but facility wise it was better than most of the new modern hotels we have stayed at. The food overall was very good too although I wouldn't take the all inclusive option as what that really means is that you have a very limited menu available to you. This was our biggest disappointment as we had been sold a premium all inclusive package on the basis we could benefit from all restaurants and facilities etc. The reality is very different. If you are staying here in the future then I recommend you take half board and pay for your main meal as the paid menus offer a much wider choice of food.

Me and my team had dinner in the champs restaurant today, we came here many times. The meal here is amazing and the service provided by Sabina is amazing too she went upstairs and down to make sure that we have a good experience in that outlet. Thank you for all the team and also passador who serve meat I couldn't remember the name but they are amazing. Thank you we will visit again.

We are semi regular visitors to the InterContinental in Abu Dhabi. We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay whilst my wife and I were working there. The staff were and always are extremely welcoming and polite during our stay. They all seem to remember us and greet us warmly. We love the Club Lounge and the Breakfast / Afternoon Tea / Drinks and Canapes the latter of which are honestly the best in the UAE. The hotel is older but has a regal charm. The location is fantastic with the little harbour bars and restaurants close to hand. We always enjoy our stay and the team go out of their way to make us feel special. Really superb team 20/10.

Very good hotel with very attentive service. Also Service in the club lounge is very good. The only downside is that the rooms need renovations. They are clean but old. Also balconies would be fine as the view from sea view rooms are so nice. Helen from kids club is nice with the kids and creates nice face painting. Our daughter loved her.
