Brett and team have curated an amazing selection of the best brands in menswear (and some great pieces for the ladies too) with a focus on American production: modern classics like Engineered Garments and Gitman Vintage sit side by side with workwear-inspired offerings from RRL and Corridor. I make it a point to stop here every time I'm in town and they make ya feel like home.

Indigo and Cotton is stupid lit I love it we might say it signals a new direction for southern style very nice curated. The attitude to timeless clothing is one that allows me to feel like I can dress like a southern gentleman but not the sort that says stuff like heritage not hate staff is super friendly great brands I could feel very dapper here good sales

This is a gem. We went in because the owner sells my niece's pottery. We enjoyed chatting with the owner and he offers many stylish clothing items for men.

Very high end clothing store for men - I was here because my brother wanted to check it out. He really liked a jacket but it was $430. Most clothing items are at least $100 or more - it seems like they're very high quality so it may be worth the price. I did like how the store focused on just a few items in different styles and colors. It was very neat and organized, which I like when I'm shopping. I can't stand shopping in a store that is packed full and messy! I'm the type of person that will pay more for a better shopping experience. They had some unique, one of a kind pieces in here for men, and it is definitely a place to check out for men's clothing - but be aware that it is a bit pricey before you visit.

On cannon st and well off the beaten path. Well worth a visit if looking for something outside of standard chain stores. Very good quality, although you pay for it. Not a huge selection, but well laid out and tidy. Some interesting stores and restaurants popping up on cannon st, as its transformation continues

As NBC says, "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you." I hadn't been here until the other day and it is easily a new favorite. For the folks that have loved the online shopping experience... that's great but I feel for you in the fact that you weren't actually able to experience the store itself. I happened to be walking down Cannon and the general style of the store caught my eye through the window. I didn't really have time for shopping but decided to pop in to see what this place was all about. From the moment I walked in, I loved everything about the store and it only got better. You won't find anything of this caliber for menswear in Charleston, maybe even South Carolina. I wanted to take everything home and will be back shortly to try on a new bathing suit that I saw and have been thinking about buying since. Wait... it gets better - they have a Warby Parker Showroom in store (www.warbyparker.com)! If you're unfamiliar, Warby Parker hit the scene a few years ago deemed the Netflix of eyewear. They send you stylish glasses to try on and you can choose to purchase or not for $95 including lenses. Don't find something you like, send them back at no cost. With the showroom in the store, one of 4 in the southeast, you can go try on as many pairs as you like before making your decision. I will be making a new glasses purchase from here immediately. The prices are very reasonable considering the brands and selection of items. The items aren't marked up which you often see in boutique type places. The prices are the same or better as anything you will find online, except you'll get exceptional service in store to go with. After some investigation of my new found obsession, I checked out the site as well. They must update it daily or weekly. It seemed like everything available in store was also on the site, even down to the sale items. This is extremely rare for any store to be that up to date with their inventory and is a nice touch. I think the only negative I can come up with is that they don't carry shoes. The guy I met in the shop informed me that they used to and might be bringing some back. Here's hoping. Charleston is great but it lacks a good store for mens stores that are not chocked full of old men clothes. That's where Indigo & Cotton comes in! The store is great with a nicely curated list of small brands. Scotty C's review down below pretty much says it best so I will just leave it as this.... The best mens store in Charleston.

Because of my recent move, I can't shop at the physical store any more. No worries because the online store features everything in the shop with images and measurements to help you pick the right size and to gauge how the clothes will fit once they arrive. The shipments arrive quickly, wrapped smartly with a personalized note. If you can't get into the shop the online store is awesome!

For the modern hipster-meets-Southern gentleman, Indigo & Cotton is your one-stop-shop. A carefully curated store with thoughtful, high quality brands you may not expect to see (Makr, Billykirk, Saturdays), Indigo & Cotton is unique in Charleston's shopping scene, which although impressively large, errs toward the sportjackets and deck shoes on King Street. Service is great and the store, while small, is laid out in a most appealing way. I wanted it all! Still, don't go in to Indigo & Cotton looking for a deal: with bespoke products comes bespoke prices.

I'll start by saying that we were very excited to visit this store. Fun clothes and a nice vibe inside. We liked it so much we dropped a nice chunk of $$. One pair of pants needed alterations and we were told no problem, they could have it done and shipped to us in about a week (we are from out of town). Two weeks go by, no pants. We call during business hours, no answer so we leave a detailed message and ask for a call back to confirm. Nothing. For two more weeks. Today the pants show up and I'm glad. But no phone call, ever. For someone who spent over $1k in their store, I'd expect better customer service. Not asking for much, but I don't think an update or a phone call is too much to ask when something is a month late and we've tried to contact them about it.

I live in San Francisco, but I've purchased twice online from Indigo & Cotton. Customer service (Brett) is great in helping you find the proper size, and shipping is fast. The selection in this store is well curated, and the quality of the items I bought is excellent. I'm glad I found this store online, because even though I live in San Francisco our local "men's store" (Unionmade) doesn't carry everything that Indigo & Cotton does. If I make it out to Charleston one of these days, I'll be sure to stop by and shop in person.

I've never been to the shop, admittedly, but I did place an order through email. Brett, the proprietor, is the most helpful guy ever, and I love their selection. If one day I go on that barbecue pilgrimage to the South, there's no way I'm not going to make a detour to check this place out.

This is the spot. Great stuff at decent prices. Gem of a store that lifts the contemporary fashion factor of Charleston. The staff is helpful and friendly, always a plus. Overall, I was very impressed with the choices, small but well curated. And as noted by Josh L., it is a nice blend of contemporary taste with more traditional southern style...not always so easy to pull off... Even the art on the walls commands respect...make sure you check out the lower iceberg painting... Stylish men take note...

I'm also an online customer and I also got Brett as contact for a problem with the shipping and I must say he has been really accomodating and helped me a lot with all the issues so I can only recommend him and above all his great store with great goods.
