I am visiting from California and saw this place on highly recommended locations to try. I was not disappointed! We found the original location and were disappointed for a minute as it looked closed. Closer inspection revealed that they moved across the street, a few doors down and we found it! The vw body is out front and you can take pictures with it. We liked the cheerful, cozy atmosphere inside, the service was great, the food came out quickly. Everything was fresh, tasted good and the fixings were great. I had the sauerkraut dog and the slaw dog. The kraut was delicious. The slaw was made from two kinds of shredded cheese with spicy sauce, it was different, bit I liked it. My husband had the corn dog which was crispy and delicious. They also have a little shelf area with merchandise which was adorable. This place is a must to visit, you won't be disappointed!

Friendly staff, quick service, yummy food for a low price tag. Best corn dog I have ever had! They hand batter them to order. The batter is softer and more substantial than your run-of-the-mill corn dog. They typically have a special with fun toppings for the sausage!

A true Nashville treasure and east Nashville gem. Been going to the tiny bus location for years and was disappointed when I drove by and saw it was gone. Until … I drove a bit further and saw the brick and mortar store. Love the new location. Super nice staff and hands down the best corn dog I’ve ever had (jalapeño ranch dipping was great!). If you haven’t , you must ! Sorry no photo of the food. I ate it all quite quickly … gnome for attention instead. Will be back again and again.

Service was okay, food okay except I thought the onion rings were skimpy. I asked for an order for two people. I received five rings of which two were very small. I'm still wondering why one end of the hot dog was cut off. I guess to fit the paper tray they were served in. The hot dogs filmed in the Tennessee Crossroads segment didn't have the ends cut off. The corn dog my wife had was good.

"I Dream of Weenie" offers a unique twist on classic hot dogs, and the inviting outdoor space adds to the overall experience. It's a great spot for those looking to savor unconventional hot dog creations in a laid-back setting.

I got some takeout and the order was filled super fast. I got the pimento cheese dog and the kraut dog. They were both great! There was SO much cheese on the pimento dog, and the kraut dog was perfectly balanced with the mustard, hot dog, and flavorful sauerkraut.

Literally so so delicious! The hot dog itself was insanely yummy and all of the different toppings were super good. The bun is also marvelous!! Definitely a great spot to stop by! You will be so happy!!
