Hyde Midtown Miami

Hyde Residences and Hotel in Midtown is a super cool spot with a modern vibe and plenty of awesome amenities. The lobby is filled with amazing art and trendy decorations, making it feel stylish and welcoming as soon as you walk in. One of the best parts of staying here is definitely Salvaje on level 7. It’s the perfect place to grab drinks, share some bites, or have a full dinner. The atmosphere is lively, the food is delicious, and the cocktails hit the spot—plus, the rooftop views add to the whole experience. Hyde also has some great amenities, like a tennis court if you’re up for a match and a pool area that’s perfect for relaxing and soaking up the Miami sun. Whether you’re looking to chill or stay active, there’s something for you here. The location is hard to beat—right in the middle of Midtown, so you’re close to tons of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Overall, Hyde is a great spot to stay or live if you’re looking for a mix of style, comfort, and convenience in Miami.

I stayed at Hyde in Miami for New Year’s Eve, and while the location was great, the experience was far from it. The room was absolutely filthy. When we arrived back late at night, the dim lighting made it difficult to notice just how bad things were. It wasn’t until the next morning, as we were checking out, that we realized the sheets were completely stained with brown spots. The condition of the bed was shocking and unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one at this price point. We also visited the pool, which didn’t seem to have been cleaned in quite some time. Leaves and debris were scattered at the bottom, making it clear that maintenance was not a priority. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was its location. However, that alone doesn’t make up for the lack of basic cleanliness and care. I’ve attached photos to show the condition of the room and I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve for future guests.

The staff is amazing from the valet to the maintenance man to both Robinson and Kimberly at the front desk. Every opportunity they had to provide great customer service and improve our stay, they took that opportunity. The kindness and care is unmatched! And the room was very clean also! The neighborhood where the hotel is located is very nice and safe as well - many places within walking distance. ||We'll stay here again anytime we're back in Miami!

A nice hotel in a hip and upcoming neighborhood. Rooms are big, clean and modern. The hotel is situated next to a busy street and has proximity to the highway. There is noise from outside coming into the room because of people revving their Ferrari and people honking. The staff is friendly but mildly uninterested. The hotel has a pool which was a bit to cold for out liking but the jacuzzi was perfect.

We just recently stayed in Hyde and were a little bit disappointed. While the hotel is located in the good busy neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and attractions; the late check in front desk lady assigned us a very disappointing room, dusty and dirty in some place, and right in front of the elevator and housekeeping room. We booked reservation in advance as it was my husband’s birthday weekend; additionally, our reservation mentioned room with the balcony; we received room without the balcony and front desk lady said that the hotel does not have rooms with balconies (LOL). The late check in lady was not friendly and didn’t seem like she wanted to assist their guests. Long story short, the management of the hotel resolved this issue and provided us with a different room with the balcony, however, the room was dusty too. This entire unexpected situation just ruined the half day of our weekend trip. Overall, this Hyde location needs more attention to detail cleaning and some renovation as pool area looked outdated as well. However, we were very surprised and happy with the service provided by Sicilia; she made sure to help us with the rooms transition and left for my husband’s birthday a complementary champagne.

Most pleasant set of front desk staff I have encountered, efficient and very friendly and cheerful. Family had several suites, well laid out with expansive balconies overlooking the Midtown square. Great location, close to restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and of course, the Design District and Winwood. Cleaning could have been a bit better.

Had a short but lovely stay at Hyde Midtown. The room was spacious, comfy bed and an unexpected balcony!! Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Valet was worth the money and they were so attentive and respectful of our things. Will be staying again!
