Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa

Cascara bar is my favorite spot at the Hyatt. The ambiance is wonderful, sat outside as was served by Solomon. Super attentive waiter with great humor. Feels so great to receive a great service by one of ours. I also admired how Solomon handled a very arrogant and difficult customer that was sitting next to us. Kudos to the training that management provided to the team. Can’t wait until my next trip. Thank you Solomon and team for making our experience so wonderful.

My family of four (2 teens) stayed here 5 days and had the best hotel experience. We have stayed in many places in the US and abroad and not had the level of service as at the Hyatt in Addis Ababa. The staff was extremely attentive, especially Misan in the lounge. Our kids were super impressed by everything as well. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for premium accommodation in Addis.

The hotel is very well appointed - spacious and comfortable rooms and good facilities. The breakfast is good but be very cautious of the food here particularly if you are going to eat lunch or dinner (breakfast is great). We had a mixed grill in the Kitchen restaurant and became very ill almost immediately. Such a shame as otherwise it was a great stay!

I've been to this hotel several times before but this was officially my first stay at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa. I had a fantastic time! The room I had was spacious and comfortable overlooking the infinity pool.||In terms of accessibility, the location of the hotel was super convenient within the city and approximately 10-15 minutes drive from Bole International Airport.||The staff were super friendly, helpful and they made me feel right at home. Special thank you to Bemnet at the hotel reception and, Biniyam and Gech restaurant/pool bar for their excellent service and support which was top notch!||I will definitely be back and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Addis Ababa!

Places is located well and convenient for all types of travel arrangements. The hotel has a nice ambiance and ample parking space. I was at their Cascara Cafe and Bar and though the place and music were nice, service was very bad. The staff think they are doing you a favour by bringing your requests and very inefficient and draining for the price they charge. The staff makes you beg to be served which negated my entire experience.

We have a wonderful service at Cascara outlet, the waiter name Solomon was simply amazing, he welcomed as with a great smile and we were so happy with his service, the snakes were great as well. Thank you for the lovely service 😊

The event was held in the hotel’s grand ballroom, which was elegantly decorated for the occasion. The high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and tasteful floral arrangements created a luxurious and magical atmosphere. The layout of the hall allowed ample space for guests to move around comfortably, with a separate area for dining and a well-organized stage for the ceremony and speeches. The hotel staff were outstanding in their professionalism and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the team ensured that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. Their efficiency was especially notable during the meal service, as dishes were served promptly and tables were attended to throughout the evening. The food was one of the highlights of the event. The buffet offered an impressive array of options, including traditional Ethiopian dishes and a variety of international cuisines. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to high culinary standards. The desserts, in particular, were a hit, with many guests raving about their rich flavors and artistic presentation. The outdoor areas of the hotel, including the gardens and terrace, provided breathtaking backdrops for photos and offered a relaxing space for guests to mingle. The combination of lush greenery and stunning city views added a unique charm to the event. Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa proved to be an exceptional choice for a wedding venue. The flawless organization, luxurious ambiance, and outstanding hospitality made the event an incredible experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a wedding or any special occasion.

The Hyatt Regency is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Great staff, food and high-quality amenities. The rooms and common areas were beyond clean and neat. Excellent spa services. Also, the bar areas had great music and drinks!! Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
