"This ever-expanding chain of yoga studios features a massive, nylon, blow-up, womb-like pod inside of which the classes take place. This may all sound a little strange, but the effect inside is totally relaxing. The Vinyasa Flow classes here are perfect for mid-level yogis in that they're not so challenging as to scare you off, but they're hard enough to provide a great, cleansing workout and a deep sense of relaxation at the end. There are pods in Notting Hill and Brixton, too."

I love this place - I have been coming here for the last 5 years and it is consistently excellent. The standard of teaching is superb - worth a special mention is Catherine Weston one of the best yoga teachers in London - and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming to all levels.

As someone prone to injuries and in need of a longer warm-up, I find the heat and the gradual progression of movements incredibly supportive. It allows me to access stretches I wouldn’t be able to manage in a typical yoga class. The teachers are always kind and attentive, offering space to rest when needed and encouraging a pace that suits each individual, free from the pressure of perfect synchronisation. I love the darkness in the tent as it creates my own space (I would anyway need my glasses to see the next mat) and helps me tune in with my own body. I leave the class with a sense of happy exhaustion, but the real reward comes the next day. Love it!

Worse yoga place I’ve ever encountered. The yoga teacher was so rude to me & this is supposed to relax you! I booked online for the special international women’s day & my money was taken but when I arrived there I was told I wasn’t on the list even though I’d paid. I was quite angry as I had just rushed to get to hotpod yoga running most of the way to arrive in time. I had a brief argument with this yoga teacher as she said there were 27 people on the wait list & on my way out she mocked me by shouting ‘happy international women’s’ day. I ran out the door crying. It was so badly managed & I’m struggling as it is. Will never go again

All of the instructors are amazing. Extremely welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend hotpod yoga more, if you haven’t already give it a go.

I love this place and their teachers, but they should try to have less people in their pod and have more space within each other as I think it will improve the quality of the session & feel more peaceful. Sometimes it feels very claustrophobic which is not a nice feeling to do yoga… plus the promotion pictures are not a good representation of how close and how pack it is at all.

The class I attended was great and the instructor, Lucy was amazing. However I think it’s not hygienic when it comes to the mats and blocks. People who attend the class do wipe them down but obviously it’s not thorough. I did not see any employees wiping the mats/blocks

Hot Pod Yoga is absolutely amazing! Definitely the best hot yoga experience in Hackney. The only downside is the price, but if you wait for a promo code (which they send to your email after your first visit), you can get a pretty reasonable deal. :)

15 quid intro promotion gets you unlimited yoga for the week. I love this location and it’s proximity to awesome cafes and public transportation. Shower facilities are clean; you’ll need em after a sweaty class.

I've been going to the Hackeny location for some time now, and while they've switched locations multiple times, the sessions and spaces remain awesome. The newest one is under a railway arch, so expect the train to go by once in a while, but if you're in the zone (as you should be!), you won't notice it. Also, this location has changing areas and showers! Shout out to the 1230pm instructors - they're all cool.
