That would be the only best part of the story.
How would one wish to pursue Hotel Management degree in Switzerland is beyond me, at least based on my experience with this hotel. The staff attitude is just totally unacceptable. Just a few examples:
1.I went down for breakfast. Duly waited to be seated. One of the staff said, “ just go and enjoy “.
Walked in and selected some items and found my seat. After about 10 minutes came a bald headed guy and with his strong voice demanded to know my room number while I am eating. Only in Switzerland!
2. None of the daily to be used items in the room is replenished, examples, tea bags, tissues, soap etc! Only in Switzerland!
3. This hotel has a small cafe which also functions as a lobby area and reception. No issue with this, in fact I find this to be unique. On the day I arrived they said it will close at 10pm. The next day at 8pm, the staff said it is closed when I tried to order coffee and the best part- she pointed across the road and said you can have your coffee there !
WHAT ???? Only in Switzerland!
4. The breakfast was supposed to close at 10am which I think is already too early enough. I was shocked when I witnessed a family was turned away exactly at 9.45am and guess what? I saw the staff again pointing a hand across the road though I wasn’t sure what is it all about but you can guess it, right! Only in Switzerland!
However I am really amazed with Mr Thomas Trojer who went out of his ways to explain and settle things for me. Thank you Sir, I salute you!
