Hotel Schwarzer Adler Innsbruck

The hotel is beautiful, everything is clean. Breakfast is ample, the servers so diligent. Love the location in Alstadt, away from the busy tourist area. The rooftop afforded great views of the city and mountains. The cost was unbelievably reasonable for the qualty of the hotel My one critique is that the ventilation didn't seem to work in my room. So i cracked the window to get that fresh Alpine air!

A lovely hotel, well located close to the old town. We particularly liked the design of the rooms, and also the cosy bar with lovely cocktails. Underground public parking is a short walk away and there's a useful supermarket and cafe opposite. Definitely recommended and we will visit again the next time we're in Austria.

Good, clean hotel. Staff as very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are quite large and spacious. There were a few dings to the paint and floor in the room, but they were minor and superficial only. Approximately a 10 minute walk to the old town and city center. Also have self use washer and dryer on site that you can use for 2€.

The hotel is close enough to the train station that we could walk; there are lots of restaurant options nearby; the hotel's luggage room is extremely convenient. Our room was fantastic. Overall a great experience!

We had a very lovely 3 night stay. The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Innsbruck. The rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms excellent.|Hotel staff very welcoming. The barman (from Yorkshire) was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back another time.

The location is very good. It is about 15min walk from the train station of Innsbruck.|It is also very close to the old city and we reached there walking within 15 min again.||The rooms were very nice and clean with an excellent shower. Mostly people expect a comfortable bed with clean sheets and a good shower in a hotel and this place exceeds all the expectations.||The breakfast buffet was also a good one and one can satisfy all the needs. |Scrambled eggs were available but no bacon. May be this was one of the two things missing in such a nice hotel's breakfast buffet. The second missing thing was it was not possible to order an omelet. The lady there was continously preparing scrambled eggs but could not take orders for omelets.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Good sized room and bathroom. Fantastic location 13 minutes walk or 3 stop bus ride to the central station and 6 minutes to the hub of the old town.

Historic boutique hotel within walking distance to all attractions and the train station. My room was super comfortable with a view of the mountains. You can feel the history of the place. Reception staff were very welcoming and I enjoyed my stay immensely.
