Hotel Metropol Moscow

I have a wonderful stay at the metropol Hotel in downtown Moscow while I was representing the UAE to the official Moscow fashion week Spring summer 2025 ! The suite I stayed is super Elegant and exceeded my expectation it was awesome to see right the view on my window. The warm and smiling services of every staff. Specially the bellboy on the front entrance greeting us with a warm smile even the weather was colder already… and The breakfast was superb dining in the historic ambience of the salon with live music transporting. You to the bygone era - thank you for experiencing The Moscow hospitality and hope to come back again ❤️❤️❤️

What a beautiful historic hotel the place is gorgeous and well maintained. Food and service are impeccable. the glass ceiling the gold touches and the whole vibe is magnetic. great location and super courteous staff made it all such a pleasant stay in Moscow

This is our second time staying at Metropole. The rooms are comfortable. This past occasion we were in a historic room. The only issue was it was extremely warm in the room upon our arrival. Opening the windows was not easy, but achieved, The cool winter air was excellent in the warm room. Because we like to take stairs, we found out that once in the stairwell, there was no way back in so we walked to bottom. Locating an Exit was an experience as we were deposited into the Metropol Hall.||The following morning we dined in the Metropol Hall and again were more than delighted with the breakfast. We recognized staff from previous visits. ||This is a great hotel with fantastic staff.

I wanted to have a better experience but I was disappointed. Yes rooms good and clean, service is good as well, however I had an incidence that wasn’t solved. My perfume suddenly disappeared after getting back to the hotel which our room was already cleaned by the housekeepers. Of course we looked very where and for couple of days, now we are leaving and it’s still no found. Of course it’s not the matter of perfume, it’s the matter of honesty from the hotel and to feel safe to keep my belongings in the room without supervision.

The service is great, hotel is clean, the bathrooms are a bit dated, for the price now it is ok. Very central location. Historical building in good condition. Room is in good condition. Close to the Metro

The service and breakfast was really good. And the history in the walls are simply amazing. The location is perfect. But consider the price and the stars this doesn’t really do the job. The rooms are outdated, the bathrooms are very small and unprofessional and “The Spa” reminded me more of a small swimming hall than a spa. My stay at the Metropol didn’t leave any memories. And except the breakfast and location, this reminded me of a very basic hotel stay.

The building, reception and dining hall are spectacular but the bedrooms are in desperate need of modernisation. Beds are good quality and comfortable but those rooms are grim looking. The breakfast is excellent and well worth the high prices. Couldn't be in a more central and convenient location. Once those bedrooms are updated, this will be an amazing hotel. It clearly once was and I'm sure will be again very soon.

Please do not miss a visit to this most beautiful and elegant hotel. The decor is astounding and the atmosphere takes you on a journey to another time and place. If you have read the book 'A Gentleman in Moscow' by Amor Towles, you will feel as though you have become part of that very charming story. Make sure you have a cocktail in the Chaliapin Bar and breakfast in the glass roof restaurant - you will not be disappointed.
