Hotel Masseria San Domenico

Wow. Just wow. We stayed here for 4 nights. What an amazing experience. If you get the opportunity to stay here, do it! The staff, resort, pools, grounds...everything was gorgeous. The rooms are stunning, quiet and clean. Truly a great mini vacation.

My wife and I enjoyed this hotel and really enjoyed playing golf at the course. Great rooms, great meals and great golf. ||The pool is terrific and the olive trees make a wonderful statement. Very impressive entrance and the condition of the grounds make walking a very pleasant experience.||We highly recommend this property.

The overall experience and service at Masseria San Domenico was excellent. This is a must visit resort. Food at the restaurant was of very high quality. Concierge and the staff in general were friendly knowledgeable and always helpful. The establishment was extremely clean and the environment was very calm. Given the opportunity we would definitely return and recommend the establishment!

The absolute excellence of southern Italy—more precisely, Apulian—hospitality. Everything here is close to perfection: the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious (even the lower categories), the location is calm, and the restaurant is more than good and very flexible. Even if there are many guests, you never have the sensation of crowdyness. Unassuming, invisible, but excellent and friendly service. Difficult to find flaws.

This hotel is first class from top to bottom. The rooms, the grounds, the staff, the pool, the bar, everything is just very nice. In particular the staff at breakfast and dinner was very accommodating and attentive. We would highly recommend the Masseria.

Masseria San Domenica is a gem of a hotel, which manages to be both classy and totally unpretentious. It is wellness in the full sense of the word, tailored to individual tastes. |Nestled among a rich variety of olive trees, some ancient, and other lush vegetation in Puglia, the hotel is framed on one side by an enormous pool and large grounds. There is a sense of quiet. Staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing. |We enjoyed the private beach (decking set up on a rocky beach) very much and the pasta they serve at lunch is some of the best we’d had anywhere. |The room decor is a bit dated and tired but then contributed to the relaxed vibe and sense of timelessness. Having dinners served in our private courtyard was a highlight. |We’d definitely go back.

Nice big olive trees luxury agroturismo that is a little lost. The beach is accessible (20 min walk) but the sea is really NOT nice on this side and beaches are full of trashes and right behind a fast highway 😢 The hotel has been build around a real historical small tower Rooms are at the standard of Italian old hotels but view is at best on a garden as you are at level 2 maximum and far from the sea Breakfast was honest (nothing exceptional for a Leading Hotel) but with no view that on astroturf tennis courts and in the back of the building. As this is a VERY hot spot in summer it’s even better do inside for food Location is ok : 30 minutes driving from the few villages you want to visit in the region Don’t expect a Venice, Rome or Florence experience Ostuni or Polignano are cheap destination without tremendous culture behind. Lecce is further and better Hard to find quality restaurants inside the hotel (very average food for Italy) or around (it’s a very cheap touristic zone) We could negociate a great upgrade but the deal was still totally overpriced for the location and service without any seaview We loved the olive trees all around, the peace of the place and the Spa We won’t come back in the region but it was ok for a short trip

The hotel is just lovely, we have stayed in November for 4 nights. It was cold in the evening but this was to be expected in this time of the year.||Especially the bartender is to mentioned for his very well interaction and service. The Negroni was each time amazing.||Rooms are with love in each detail. Even rose leaves in the toilet ;)||Well done and if we are in the region again, we will stay here again.
