Great hotel at beautiful location. Wonderful landscaping and views from the room. Great food and wellness area. Room is spacious and beautiful, all of the rooms have balcony. Housekeeping staff wonderful and reception staff excellent but valet who keeps the keys and parks the cars is extremely rude and unprofessional, also some of the staff at the restaurant (only few, majority is great). Second bad thing is that there were no tables at the restaurant because the hotel was full, and we had to wait for the table at breakfast for about 15 minutes, that shouldn't be the happening in a 5 star hotel. Also the sliding doors of the bathroom are very heavy and hard to open and close, there is no handle. Overall I would recommend this hotel, we enjoyed it.

Recommended. Everything was exceptional. The hotel has an unreal architecture and interior... Everything is really impeccable. The rooms are extremely spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Anatomical pillows, as well as the mattress. Rooms with a bathtub and a shower cabin. A terrace with a view of the forest with chirping birds and enchanting architecture

My spouse and I spent a wonderful two days at the Lone Hotel during Christmas. We were absolutely delighted with the beautiful room, the excellent gastronomic offerings—especially the special Christmas dinner—and the outstanding service and friendliness of the staff. Additionally, we were impressed by the hotel’s fantastic location by the sea, offering plenty of opportunities for walks and enjoyment of the natural surroundings. We highly recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway or a longer holiday—it’s truly a place to relax and rejuvenate! If I may add, the attention to detail and the festive atmosphere during our stay made the experience even more memorable. It’s a perfect destination for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, luxury, and nature.

This hotel has very spacious rooms with a green view. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Rovinj old town via a promenade. Lone is one of 4 or 5 hotels within the same area. This is the first hotel built. They have a newer, upscale hotel called Grand Park. Breakfast buffet is delicious. They cover all types of food - continental Europe, British, American, and Turkish. The hotel includes spa, sauna and steam shower. The process to using the facilities is probably odd for many Americans. They require swim suits in the hot tub but no swim suit/towel for the sauna or steam shower. Men and women use all facilities together. The staff is comfortable communicating in English.

When we arrived at the Lone hotel no one greeted us or helped us with our luggage , something that is expected of a 5* establishment. Even our chauffeur mentioned this. And as an observer of behaviours in top hotels all over the world , this should have been paramount. Now, looking past this , we continued to hopefully enjoy the rest of the hotel , service was very average , room was really nice with deep carpets and lovely toiletries, wellness and spa also very good. Upon arrival , the service average at best , no information provided to us or welcoming feel. No information really about anything apart from breakfast times. Breakfast was mostly cold but a nice variety of options. When we asked to have our water replenished after not getting our room cleaned that day , we were charge €6.80 for one small bottle, this is unacceptable in a 5 * hotel , it should of been complimentary. The beach and pool facilities are very nice and in comparison to other hotels on the promenade this is the only advantage. In conclusion , if you’re not worried about “feeling at home” or being welcomed by the staff, then go for it. But for the remainder of the trip , we stayed at the Grand Park Hotel , which I can highly recommend for a TRUE 5* experience.

This a superb hotel in a wonderful location. The vegan food was excellent. Breakfast is fantastic. There is a very good 24/7 gym. Pools indoors and outdoors. Outside space including the forest park on your doorstep. Sports equipment to hire. Cash is accepted. Wi-fi is great. Staff are lovely especially Petra on reception. Beautifully designed and furnished. Rooms are quiet. See you again soon!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel and surrounding areas are perfect for walking, running, swimming, rock climbing, dining, sightseeing. The old town is walking distance, and it is a walk by the sea. Beach is well maintained and very relaxing. A perfect break altogether. We already booked our next stay.

Fabulous & stylish hotel, we absolutely loved our week’s stay. Nice quiet room as requested, at the end of one wing. Very spacious with good blackout curtains, big balcony & an absolutely huge, comfortable bed. We loved the his & hers sink & the shower was amazing. Breakfast was very good, with every option you could think of, fresh orange juice & gorgeous honey. Helpful smily staff & spotlessly clean everywhere! The pool & hotel beach was busy on sunny days & it is a little (but beautiful) walk into the old town, but don’t let that put you off, we had a wonderful stay.
