Nestled in a serene palm grove overlooking the Caribbean, this luxe hotel boasts spacious suites with private pools and a chic beach club, ideal for relaxation.
"This namesake hillside resort set above Toiny Bay gives ‘wild’ an unexpected new meaning when it comes to scene-y St Barts: On the scrubby southeastern point of the island, this unfussy haven is where an in-the-know social set head to find serenity, whether via an early morning surf lesson or at the wave-lapped beach club. Rugged shoreline views and cacti-dotted greenery imbue a sense of calm from the second you’re greeted with a glass of Champagne at check-in. Secluded infinity-pool decks boast far-flung views of the azure sea and surfers paddling out to the white caps consistently churning up on this side of the island. The suites and villas here were redesigned in 2024 by Bee Osborn interiors to swap in more modern touches. If St Barts’ reputation for heaving parties and see-and-be-seen celebrities might have you thinking the Champagne-drenched French Caribbean island isn’t for you, Le Toiny probably is—and anyone else who wants the serenity of a wild coastline at their fingertips. —Shannon McMahon"

"A luxurious hotel located on the beautiful island of St. Barths, known for its serene environment and stunning ocean views."
"Charlie and Mandie Vere Nicoll, former owners of St-Barth Isle de France (sold for a mint to LVMH), couldn't sit still, so they bought another property on the island. Fun fact: Charlie is the local vicar (we kid you not). Some may refer to it as the hotel farthest from town, but for those in the know, Le Toiny is an intimate hideaway with only 22 sprawling suites nestled within 17 acres of tropical land. Private terraces and large heated pools come as standard, with each room designed by Lady Bee Osborne of Osborne Interiors (the interior designer visits every year to ensure everything is in tip-top condition). Two large villas have been recently added for even more space, ideal for large groups and families. The hotel's other drawcard is Le Toiny Restaurant, one of the best fine dining options on the island and one of the reasons the hotel is a member of Relais and Chateaux. Here, chef Brenton Styles' specialties include mahi mahi, curried cauliflower, and tuna tartar."
