Fairmont Mara Safari Club

Our honeymoon at Fairmont Mara Safari Club was the best and most memorable experience of our lives! Every moment was exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel so at home. Special thanks to Lenkoko, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best safari adventure; to Mary and Gerald, whose warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay unique and delightful; and to Adan, who made us feel like we had a home away from home.||We highly recommend participating in as many experiences as possible and definitely not missing a safari. We were lucky enough to see 4 out of the Big 5, but also encountered so many more amazing animals. The hot air balloon experience is also a must! While it’s the most commercial, you can’t beat the breathtaking views of the plains from the balloon, and the bush breakfast included is a real "pinch me" moment.||Gerald and his team are also expert mixologists—don’t miss trying their locally inspired cocktails, especially the dawa! I also had a massage during my stay which I couldn't recommend more. ||In terms of facilities, they are superb. The tent design makes it feel more authentic , but it's a very luxurious stay with all the amenities and services you'd expect to see at a Fairmont. ||We couldn’t be more grateful to the entire team and have already recommended this magical experience to all our friends and family. Exceptionally special place. The game drives were fantastic (ask for Joseph), the food was fresh and delicious (thanks dining staff and Moses), and the staff was incredible. They made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. Can’t recommend it enough; thanks to Dennis, Wilson, and the entire Mara team :)

Good place to stay and impressed this being my second time. Areas to work on:- 1.No point on having alcohol in the room unless one requests to have one. 2.Can we have option of having Bible in the room 3.At the point on entry the above information can be given so that if one needs them they can get them. Also provide as much information as possible..like... WiFi password,Menu of choice...

We had the best family holiday at the Fairmont Mara. Huge thank you to the amazing team that looked after us. Caleb - thank you for being the best pen pal to my daughter, she thoroughly enjoyed the notes you left for her every day in our room and loved writing back to you! Vivian, Rose, Beth thank you for your amazing hospitality. ||I can’t recommend this hotel enough, the rooms are stunning, grounds are beautiful, food is plentiful and delicious and experience was the best we have ever had. ||We loved spending time in the pool during the day, checking out all the hippos at hippo corner, the balloon ride, safari (seeing 4 out of 5 of the big 5 repeatedly) and visiting the Masai village. A magical experience that we will never forget!

Great Experience at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club, a luxury tent resort. The resort is in a great location for game drives; very clean; friendly, helpful staff; excellent meals; nice pool; nice grounds for an afternoon stroll. Also a special thank you to our game driver, Alfred Mara. He was awesome! He was always prompt; courteous; able to find game and/or birds; was very knowledgeable and a special bonus was that he was excellent lighting for those of us wishing to take better photographs. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed here for only 2 nights and done 3 drives.|Check in was swift and less than 15 minutes drive frim the airstrip.|We had one of the deluxe rooms and Caleb was our room steward. The room was immaculate and caleb was very friendly and chatty and also got us a fan that we barely didn't need.||Our room was about 10 minutes walk from reception but we could have phoned a cart.|Our driver was Alfred and he was out this world. We seen everything we wanted to see and our drives were longer than expected. |The breakfast at the hippo lake we will never forget.|Alfred was very informative and easy to chat to.|The walk.with the rhinos was again unbelievable and totally unexpected. |Alfred your a star.|The food was excellent but we thought the dinner was a bit below par for a 5 star hotel. The lunch though was excellent and we only had 1 breakfast but that was also good.|All the staff were lovely and although we will probably never do another safari we would recommend this hotel.|

I usually do not write reviews but this one is for the outstanding service we received from the staff at FAIRMONT MARA and our safari guide Dominic.||As they say, Masai can smell a lion. Dominic had very keen eyes, lots of enthusiasm and outstanding knowledge of local flora and fauna. We did 12 safaris and one night safari (didn’t miss a single one over 6 days) and each one of them was outstanding and unique. Saw all the animals that could be seen||Rooms could have been more luxurious, possibly they are at other places, however they are adequate and well maintained, cleaned and serviced twice daily, hot water bottles are thoughtful and they did provide a table fan on request .||Overall a very memorable stay

Just stayed here earlier this month. Highly recommend. From the time you land at the dirt airstrip to the time you leave, you will be treated like royalty. Our Driver Henry was amazing and did a great job on our guided safari drives. The tents were very well equipped (no a/c or tv - just FYI). The hippos are just relaxing in the river that you can see from your tent. There are crocodiles in the river also. You can see the big 5 here. We saw lions every day. The food was delicious and the drinks were good too. Highly recommend.
