1. Hospitality wise, great. Amazing location and very supportive staff. 2. Booking experience was bad to say the least. We had booked 4 rooms using fora travel advisors well in advance in the month of April. We were informed 20 days before the travel dats that fora bookings don't accept payment by points. This came as a surprise. We had to change bookings just to get a reasonable price. We lost on 100 usd credit which was ensured with fora. When we visited the property last week, we met an individual who told us he had a similar FORA booking and he was allowed to pay by points. This left a feeling of distrust and discrimination. You trust a brand to have consistent policy and also non discriminatory approach. It has been a negative experience as far as booking is concerned. We will be more careful next time and also ask fellow travellers to not trust anything that is told to you blindly. The company can revise any policy anytime and leave customers in chaps and also give preferential treatment to anybody unfairly. Overall, a great property and people, but very bad booking experience and company policies.

We arrived at the Fairmont Safar in October for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing experience. On arrival we were greeted by our driver for the week Dominic M, he was fantastic and made our experience! He tried his best to find the different animals and answered all our questions. He also helped organise all our requests! At the resort, we were greeted by Wallace and staff who made us feel very welcome. All staff at the resort are wonderful and they couldn’t do more for you. Rose made sure we were well taken care of during all our meals, which were all delicious! And Caleb ensured we had a lovely, clean, tidy tent to come back to after our game drives. If you’re looking for a fantastic resort for a safari, this is the one! It will not disappoint. We hope to be back soon! We also decided to do the hot air balloon ride which was an amazing memory made. We fell in love with Masai Mara.

We visited for our honeymoon mid October 2025 & had a life changing experience. The staff, the accommodations, the food, the delicious wine, the housekeepers. To name our favorites - ||David - bartender, he is AWESOME!|Umagi (sp) He was an AMAZING server! He was so kind, great talking with him and knew all our drink orders & is super knowledgeable of wines!|Jackson/Faustine - The were WONDERFUL room attendants! They made us a wonderful bed arrangement for our honeymoon and wrote us such a sweet note. Really made us feel special! |Dennis - Customer service always made sure we were properly taken care of! Top notch!!!|Charles - Front desk, always kept up to date with all the info on our safaris and travel plans. Did great!|Lencoco - Our safari driver was PERFECT & by far, our favorite! Showed us amazing things & stayed out until we did. We liked that he didn’t speak too much but overall just went above and beyond to show us an ahhhhmazing trip!!!||We can’t wait to make it back, but may take awhile to save up again! 10/10

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights, two with a tour group and four independently. The staff are amazing! We feel like part of a special African family. The chef and culinary team are exceptional and the property is immaculate. Fairmont is really hard to beat!

it was the best trip of my life. service is top notch. they guided us through every moment. the hotel had a very good view as well. Chef Kevin made the best indian food especially being a vegetarian he made exceptional food for us too. Walter gave us the best service at our stay all the time and highly recommend to pick John as your driver during your game drives, he made our safari’s too good and made our every animal spotting possible.

Visited the Fairmont Mara Safari in October 2025 with my wife and two kids (11 and 8) and stayed for 3 nights in a double queen bed tent.||Exceptional stay. The entire resort staff are the most welcoming and helpful.||The tents are great and really add to the safari experience - comfortable beds, nice powerful shower, fully functioning toilet and good sized vanity area.||The food is also great at the resort with plenty of options available. If you want something specific, just ask, they will make whatever you want, just give them enough notice.||The game drives are also a great experience and well organised each morning and afternoon. Your driver will find and you will see lots of animals. In fact, from the moment you are collected from the air strip, you will encounter zebras/giraffes/pumbas... And thats not even a game drive.||The resort has a really nice ambience and never felt crowded or busy. I would thoroughly recommend this resort for your safari.||Whilst all the staff are extremely nice it felt we like we had a personal service and so a special mention to Geoffrey (housekeeping), Peter (restaurant) and the best game driver we could have wished for, Lemkoko.||Cant wait to go back!

This was a trip of a lifetime. We so enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Fairmont Safari club setting. Food was excellent accommodations so comfortable. We would go on Safari drives and our guide. Dominic was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and got us so many up close experiences with animals. Would highly recommend him.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were among the friendliest and most welcoming we’ve ever encountered. The tents were luxurious, the food selection plentiful, and the setting simply perfect. Our guide, Dominic, was outstanding; extremely knowledgeable and instrumental in helping us experience some unforgettable wildlife encounters. We spent five days with him, and his perfectly tailored schedule made our trip exceptional. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Fairmont Mara.
