This hotel is so wonderfully decorated!! The details in every single room are exceptionally well done! We had a drink on the roof, there was a DJ, overall really good vibe!

Went on a Saturday afternoon after they opened and was a huge fan of the music, food, wine and carajillos. If you can grab some of the couch, great place to lounge on a nice day (which is luckily must days)

Overpriced food and drinks and unfriendly staff. I came here by recommendation but was very disappointed to find that this place is all about being instagramable and not about good quality and service. Food was decent but a bit on the salty size and small portions. There are nicer places around. Beware

I love this historic colonial building that has been transformed to a beautiful and chic bar and restaurant. It’s divided in different areas and each room has a particular and interesting decoration and atmosphere. There’s a nice terrace at the top. Food was really nice, if you like meet I recommend the taco de fideo seco. I loved the Jaguar cocktail made with mezcal. Service was impeccable. We called last minute to see if there was availability and the hostess who answered was very accommodating. She said don’t worry, come over and we’ll figure out something. We had a drink at the restaurant bar in the ground level and a bit later we got a great table at the terrace. It was a Saturday night so we really appreciated the hostess help and attention. Can’t recommend it enough!

Semi-hidden gem in Roma. The food here is exceptional, and the prices are within reason for the quality of the cuisine. Don't miss out on the edamame. Good music, beautiful courtyard and an axolotl sculpture 💙 hanging from the ceiling! Good spot for a birthday dinner.

This place is perfect for having an unconventional and surprising meal, perfect for friends and couples. Food is delicious and stunning, the drink menu is super wide and it has a theme of rituals with special components for each drink. This is a MUST for anyone that enjoys to be surprised by taste, look and new ingredients.

Despite the name its not a hotel but a sophisticated restaurant. The decor is great and the food is creative and tasty. I agree the vegan ceviche is wonderful as were the other dishes we tried.

Yelp
Great hidden bar and restaurant in Roma. It's set in an old refurbished house, every room is beautiful.
We had a bit of a rocky start because I reserved a table outside and they sent me to the rooftop bar, which is not outside and had people smoking. Not what I was looking for so I immediately complained and was moved downstairs to the patio.
Drinks were great, they are $200 each, so not cheap, but well worth it. I had the Jaguar and loved it. We had the tacos de pork belly for starters and they were delicious. We also had the gringa with seafood. My husband lover that one, for me it was just ok.
We then ordered the burger and the tuétanos. The latter was delicious while the burger just ok.
They have three dessert options: cheesecake, Brownie and the smoked cocoa cookies. we ordered the cookies and they were absolutely a treat.

Yelp
How am I the first reviewer for this AMAZING rooftop bar?? It's absolutely gorgeous, with multiple floors and many rooms, each of which is decorated beautifully and uniquely. We came here on our first night in CDMX, and it was pretty quiet since it was only 7pm on a Wednesday, but we made a reservation to come back on Friday night and the rooftop was pretty busy but not overly crowded, but the other floors were very quiet which I think is bizarre because the entire building is so beautiful. Service was very good (although not much English is spoken I think), and apparently they are specialize in very unique cocktails because I accidentally ordered a delicious rum-based tiki drink that was beautiful (before switching back to mezcal haha). This was hands down the favorite bar of pretty much everyone in our group! I highly highly recommend it!
p.s. I know the name of the bar is Hotel Casa Awolly, but I don't think it's actually a hotel!

Yelp
Cool place and decent food for what we had. But the waiter put in a tip that was 5x what we told him to input (what's how they do it in CDMX). He refused to back out the transactions entirely and only canceled one of the three charges after we insisted. Now that credit isn't showing up at all.
Drinks were weak too.
Be very careful if you go here due to potential scamming. Or just avoid - there are so many other great places in CDMX.
