Hotel Capellan de Getsemani

One of the best stays I’ve ever had. I traveled with someone who is very particular and enjoys luxury - she was equally blown away. The service was above anything I’ve experienced before. From checkin until check out they attention to detail, cleanliness and service was fantastic. The breakfast was the perfect addition to an already amazing experience. The pool is perfect and had a bar attendant. The only regret is that we didn’t have a longer time to stay there. Rooms were large and beds were comfy. All the small sitting spaces throughout the hotel added to the comfortable, yet luxurious ambiance.

Stayed here on Amex “Hotel Collection”. Wonderful stay! Room was upgraded (and quiet and well appointed), service kind and professional and food and beverage very good. We are from NYC and have high standards. Only a 5 min walk to the Centro area and located on a nice corner of Getsemani.

10/10 This hotel is a must if your visiting Cartagena. The hospitality is out of this world. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back. The Pool, Spa, and rooms are all excellent. The breakfast is amazing and the people are very welcoming

I came here with a group of friends. I had a room with 2 queens for 4 guest. I have my reservation with notes invited stating I had 2 additional guests. We arrived and on top of that were charged additionally for 2 guests. (I have proof of original date of reservation with guests which was prepaid) (I also have proof of the additional charge they charged) We had to ask for toilet paper when we arrived to the room. We asked for the sheets and towels to be changed while we were out. When we returned the room was still as we left it and they assured us it was changed. *We spoke to the manager about how a hotel of this caliber is not living up to it's reputation. They gave us 4 bottles of water as a sorry leave us alone. We kept having issues like these and they kept trying to bribe us with water bottles. The front desk and management were not the best, the best service we received was from the bartender up at the poor and the staff serving breakfast. Other than that we would get the run around by management to get things resolved. We speak English and Spanish fluently and went over things in both languages since they continued to try speaking English with us. We just wanted to make sure they understood which they insisted they did yet the majority of our issues where never resolved. It was a very visually appealing hotel, and location was great, I just expected more for the rating it had.

We had a pleasant stay for a quick night in Cartagena. The hotel is in a great location for both Getsemani and quick walk to the walled city. Breakfast was included, it was plentiful and delicious. Shoutout to Narem who was super nice and helpful! Thank you 😊

Very pretty and clean hotel. Staff are very polite. Hotel location is walking distance from everything. Make sure to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. The park across has monkeys and slots. Breakfast is included not a big menu but food is good. Drinks at the pool little too expensive.. Bad thing about the hotels for some reason our key kept deactivating and we to come the front deat to have it active again.

The room was impeccable. The was absolute everything! The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend to stay here whether alone or with friends! 10 out of 10! The hotel itself is a beautiful experience! Can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing staff, Augusto, Rey and Karime took care of us and were beyond welcoming. Every single staff member was super friendly, welcoming and made our stay and needs amazing. Nos trataron super bien desde comienzo a final. Muchas gracias Augusto, Rey Y Karime por su gran apoyo! The place feels like the encantó house at night.
