The food was excellent! That could have something to do with the quality ingredients. I liked how it's set up. You order your food get assigned table. The food didn't take long at all. Overall a good experience.

Sat at the bar to avoid the line ordering, bartender (Brian) was extremely nice, very helpful. Ordered frozen margaritas and a cocktail called 'Purple Reign' that was really good. Tuna Burger and the Bacon Double Jam, really good, not sure why I avoided this place for so long. Only negative comment, one sink per restroom isn't enough for a place that every single customer wants to wash their hands after eating.

First time ordering from your restaurant and it was a complete success. The online ordering was easy. The order was accurate. Friendly helpful employees who think outside the box. Most importantly, the food was delicious. The only thing I can think to improve on, is I didn't see any to go parking. Maybe I just missed. Great job by your company.

The spicy burger is spicy. They add habanero peppers and it has great flavor. It’s great for a person who wants a spicy burger option. The truffle fries were also a great add.

1st time, this is a very very good Burger place. Thankfully the restaurant itself wasn't crowded, orders, delivery of food is ultra fast (they bring items as they're ready, not necessarily at same time) Clientele the younger crowd, thin young Gen Z, Y, or whatever with younger guys with facial hair. Burgers very juicy, tasty, fries, shake are excellent. Is it the best burger joint in Dallas? Not saying that, but a good choice here. I visited the Addison location, which is in a super crowded corner, parking is insane 😡, restaurants and venues everywhere. A nearby parking lot helps, but parking here sucks badly. I love burgers and I love the taste of their burgers. They’re serving in a very good atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly. The fries are perfect!!! Even if you pick the small bowl you’ll get a lot of them 😁 I enjoyed my dinner over there and definitely I will try it again

First time here and excited to see that they have a GF menu with a lot of options. They prepare the gf hamburger buns fresh for you. You order food first at the To Go counter. You tell them which booth by number that you are sitting at. They serve you once the food is ready. I ordered a Shrooms burger, a side of sweet potato fries, and a Mochachino shake. The shake was perfection and was topped off with whipped cream. The sweet potato fries were the best I have ever tasted. They come with a spicy mayo dip. The hamburger was gourmet and rich with flavor. The gf bread had a nutty texture to it which was unique and wonderful. The beef was cooked medium as per my request. There are paper towels rolls on each table instead of napkins which I prefer. There is retro music playing and TV screens featuring sports. The setting is good for single people, as well as for large groups. There are seats at the bar, if desired. This location is right across from a cinema, The AMC Village on the Parkway in Addison. I will definitely return to eat here again. The quality of the food was excellent!

Came in for the prime rib burger, but it appears they took it off menu. So went with their next closest resemblance item the cadillac burger. I liked the way the burger presented in pic while the patty is a little bit dry. The truffle fries were pretty awesome.

We love Hop Doddy! It's our go to for quick family meal. And this place is perfect for kids. They have a kids menu that has other options besides hamburgers also. You can upgrade the quality of your burger meat to grass fed. We love the Diablo burger. The outdoor seating area is perfect if you're looking for more of a patio experience

Best Happy Hour on the Beltline! 50% off drinks and $5 sliders. My favorite sandwich is the Thunderbird. Ground chicken patty with pico, poblano peppers, bacon, and pepper jack cheese with doddy aioli. This is always my go to when at Hopdoddy, and of course, I add extra poblano peppers! It makes my mouth sooo happy to have that lil kick! They also have the best Honey Mustard I've ever tasted and I don't eat honey must. Their honey mustard has a kick! I saw a bottle of it today when I ordered online, and it is called Horseradish Honey Mustard! Wow! Yes, that is what Honey Mustard needs! I would definitely buy bottles if I lived in this state. Service was amazing!! I'm a modification type of Lady and they came through! Initially gave my custom burger to someone else in the restaurant and I knew it. I brought it to their attention and they immediately corrected it. Thank you! Great atmosphere and spacious booths! I'll be back as usual! I'm not a shoestring fry person, but my coworker enjoyed her salted fries dipped in ketchup! I just realized that I didn't get a picture of The Thunderbird. Welp, guess I'll have to order again before I leave Dallas! lol

It's a go up to the counter to order location. Your order will be brought to you when ready. The lactation is ideal and the staff were friendly. The wait for our food was a bit much and the same went for the margarita, which was horrible to the point I couldn't drink it. They have an interesting burger selection with everything sold separately, which means the cost adds up quickly. I felt my choice to go with the crispy brussel sprouts wasn't the best idea. They were good a bit on the salty side, but it turned out not to work so well with the El Diablo flavor combo, which was Pepper Jack, Habaneros & Serranos, Caramelized Onions, Salsa Roja, Chipotle Aioli, L & T. I love spicy food, and this did provide heat i wanted! The patty is well seasoned and cooked how I like it. The Cadillac Waygu was packed and hearty it had 1/2 lb Wagyu Beef, swiss cheese, steakhouse bacon, crispy fried onions, Steak Sauce, Truffle Aioli, roasted tomato & arugula. My one critique would be to remove the steak sauce. The shake was whipped and light but also tasted like melted ice cream. I wouldn't order again.

Came here yesterday with a friend who is GF. I'll start with the service, outstanding. We told them it was our first time and they went above and beyond. The place is really cute inside and they have patio dining. Now to the food, a lot of choices. We started with the grilled Brussel sprout leaves with a spicy sweet sauce. So good. I got the diablo burger bowl. It was really big and so so fresh. My dining partner got the chipotle bowl which was a January special and she loved it. She just saying this is so fresh. We also ordered French fries and glad we got the small it was quite large. Sorry no pictures but trust me give the place a try.

We indulged in the Truffle Fries, Parmesan Truffle Brussels, and The Classic Burger with add-ons: an over-easy egg, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Splitting the burger between my partner and I is our tradition, and it's just the right portion size. The burger was impeccably seasoned, complemented by a soft wheat bun with a hint of sweetness. While the truffle Brussels were flavorful, they leaned slightly towards being greasy. The fries, though standard, were satisfying.

The burger was really good. We got a lettuce wrap and the queso fries. It was the perfect meal for my husband and I to split mainly because we both love queso and french fries. It was the middle of the week when we were there and the place was empty. We could have almost any seat in the restaurant. The service was great. Our fries came out first and they were perfect. The burger was the same. Our server was very helpful and got us an extra tray since we were splitting our dinner. The ambiance is great. I've been here when it's busy and its really loud and you can almost hardly hear each other talk across the table, but since we almost had the place to ourselves it was very relaxing. We could sit by the window, talk and just enjoy the peaceful setting. I'm happy that they've opened more locations.

Atmosphere: Lots of seating. Bright space. Nice covered outdoor seating. 1 Star Service: This is a counter service spot, but everyone was very inviting. They greet you as you walk in the door. The counter person was conversational and helpful with the menu and very upbeat. 2 Stars Food: I rarely find a burger place that I would give 5 stars to, but this was one darn good burger. The meat was very tasty and the bun was top-notch. Cooked to medium as well. The way I like it. Truffle fries are very tasty and shareable for an entire table. 2 Stars Overall: A great burger joint that I will frequent whenever I am in town. 5 Stars

Yelp 100 Challenge 2023 #65 Delicious burgers and fries. The menu offers other items but I enjoy their magic shroom burgers and parmesan fries. Service You enter the restaurant and place your order similar to go style. Once you've paid you will get a number and pick your own seat. You have the option to sit and chat at the bar, or you can find a table elsewhere. My favorite drink from the bar is their house margarita. It is served in a giant medieval mug and it is delicious. If you're looking for delicious eats with a bar, then give HOPDODDY a chance.

Very cool and yummy burger options! Their fries are also really unique and flavorful. I would totally go hear again. However, I have been a few times where they had ran out of the vegetarian patties or they just didn't have any. That was certainly a let down. I would call before going if you are a vegetarian.

Hopdoddy never misses! It's been a few years since I've been to one, but my friends and I decided to eat here after playing Puttshack. It tastes just as good as I remember it. I got the Llano Poblano burger. We also got the parmesan truffle fries (of course) to share.

Hop doddy is that burger place that falls between a fast food burger and a restaurant burger. It's taste and not too expensive. First time coming in was greeted with help with the menu as they have a good selection of burgers and fries. They also asked us where we plan to sit so that they will take the food to us which was nice. I got the classic burger and hand cut fries as just wanted to try something simple. The burger and fries were delicious. Everything about just a classic burger was amazing. The fries were thin and not too salty at all. The other person who I was there with got truffle fries and those tasted amazing. Truffle fries only come in one size though so best to share it cause it is a lot of fries. Will definitely need to come back and try their other burgers and fries. The price is fair as well not too expensive

Who knew they'd have SUCH a good vegan burger?! Their vegetarian burger is turned vegan for a dollar extra- yes there's vegan Mayo and cheese! It's a black bean patty but don't let that scare you off, it's one of the best ones I've had. Also, demolished the sweet potato fries in 5 seconds. Super casual atmosphere, almost grab and go feel. Was expecting it to be slightly more social!

This is a horrible location. I ordered fries fries taste like they just took them out of the freezer and warmed up. There's no seasoning and they're soggy. Definitely will never go here again. All the other locations are on point. Also, whenever you order to go fries, they don't put five dollars worth which is what they charge you for.

Service and atmosphere was amazing and food was even better! The Juiciest burger I've had in a long time. I wish I would've taken a picture, but I just couldn't wait to eat it! Fries and shake were on point as well!

Coming off a flight and craving some good food, this spot was recommended to me from a vegetarian! I got a beef burger and my friend got the beyond burger and both our belly's were content. I was confused with their ordering process as it seemed the person behind the counter didn't have patience but nonetheless, the food was delicious. They have a cute patio outside that's shaded so it was enjoyable to sit outside!

Went to Hopdoddy off Belt Line in Addison for a birthday celebration last night. This is not the best location. We decided to try the Brussels sprouts side dish and it really disappointed. It was soft and soggy, oily and yucky. Very bad representation of what was on the menu. One of the highlights of Hopdoddy is the hot, fresh fries. The fries we got were barely warm and limp. Who wants that? The burgers were fantastic with a great chat, and service was very good. Ce was loud, but a good place for a celebration. Overall would not go back to this location. The one in Ft Wth was far better as was the location at Preston and NW Hwy.

Set the scene: very cold outside and with my family (small kids). We walk in and the line to order food is long so they ask for my family to wait outside. No problem. New people walk in and they are allowed cut and wait in the heat. More people walk in.. same. My family (with small kids) try to go inside and were immediately instructed to go back out in the cold while the new groups were allowed to cut and stay indoors. Fuck this place to the moon and back.

The burger was juicy. My husband wanted his Cadillac burger well done but instead it was medium other than that the burger was juicy. I think if you're requesting a minimum if 18% tip then you should at least come check on your guess.

Had a amazing time! Got a complimentary nutella shake for my birthday and a guy bought me my favorite alcohol beverage (green tea shot) and ordered a delicious and messy burger medium which caused me to eat off my lipstick lol but cheers to 27! Will visit again

Recently learned that Hopdoddy will be keeping the roasted Brussels sprouts item on their menu permanently instead of just limited time only!! Yaaaayyyy! If you have not yet tried the roasted sprouts, you MUST!! I've only tried the parmesan truffle variety but they have two others which I hear are equally as good and will try on my next visit. Keep rolling out the flavor Hopdoddy and we'll be sure to keep coming back!

What happened to Hopdoddy? Came here yesterday, and unfortunately, it is not the same.. Atmosphere - 4.5/5 - Same vibe as before. I like the bar setup and there is a patio where you can actually bring your pup. Staff - 5/5 - Very friendly and attentive. They brought us every sauce that we asked for. Food - 3/5 - I am shocked. Hopdoddy use to be AMAZING. Ordered the following: Buffalo Bill - 3/5 - Added habaneros and serranos. The meat quality just was not there. The bun felt a little older as well. Prime 3.5/5 - Tasted better than the Bill, but again, it just doesn't taste the same as before. I usually get El Diablo with an egg on top, and that was always a 4-4.5......Did I just order the wrong burger??? Unfortunately, it is really far away now, so I do not know if I will be coming back again anytime soon.

First time here and it was exceptional! The manager, Norberto was fantastic and made sure everything was perfect. Had a party of 4 for much. Had the bacon double jam and chicken fingers, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, and drinks. Food quality was amazing! Highly recommend! Plenty of parking.

Ordered the prime burger, Parmesan truffle fries, and a strawberry margarita. The burger was amazing!!! I loved that the burger was cooked to the perfect temperature and was seasoned well. The Parmesan Truffle fries were seasoned so well.

The atmosphere is relaxed and laidback, the service is excellent. They are very welcoming and polite. The double bacon jam burger was amazing! I can't wait to go back and get it again,the mix of white and yellow cheese give it a very unique flavor mixed with the jam. The fries were hard and extremely salty but don't take my word for it, try them out! They have a nice variety of beers also! If you are looking for a fancy place or a romantic date night, this is not your spot but if you are looking for an amazing burger , this is IT!

Ugh! It feels like this place is going downhill. We had dinner tonight, Wednesday around 7pm. Not very crowded. We ordered their monthly special, some sort of Asian Chicken sandwich, a Prime-time and a regular burger of some sort, glass of wine and 2 types of fries. Came out to over $66! Plus add your choice of tip, starting at 18% up to 25%. Not worth the value! The burger has no juiciness and the sauces are hyper-flavored without any sort of nuance. Unless of course you like sodium. Then Hopdoddy is your place. The service charge in the form of tip before the food comes out feels self serving and not worthy of the value that you are obliged to add. I give this franchise less than 5 years. Parmesan fries are so done. No innovation nor flavor.

My absolute favorite location, especially because the staff is so awesome. Food is always fresh and hot, even with pick up orders. I can't say enough positive things about this location. I usually will grab a bite to eat and go watch a movie right across. Its located in the center of everything.

The Thunderbird chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich I ever had! Absolutely delicious! The staff were also very friendly. I can't imagine how good their burgers will be next time!

Serious service issues addressed promptly and professionally by store management saved this review, but this was still not the outstanding experience we have become accustomed to at Hopdoddy. Nevertheless, we still recommend this location and will come back without hesitation. 4 adequate stars.

Went in for their nutella pretzel shake. The server just seemed like he was in a hurry. He made the shake SUPER watery like instead of getting a shake, I just got Milk. I asked the server to plz make it thicker and he refused. He said he put everything in there and thats what it is and that the ice cream machine isnt working 100%. So... if the machine isnt working why didn't you tell me that when I was placing the order. And now that im unsatisfied with it, you're ganna continue to charge me $8, i signed it, he scrunched it up threw it in the trash and walk away... like the f? What if i wanted my receipt? The customer service was the worst! We literally walked out of there and trashed the shake. It was disgusting. Imagine drinking whole milk with chunks of prezels coming in ur mouth.

When I used to lived in Addison, and they first open, this place used to be Sooo Good. It was pack everyday and we always stop by to eat here before we watch movie across the street. So me & my husband decided to drive all the way from Mckinney to eat here & we left disappointed. The Fries is not good anymore, it taste old. The chicken tenders I got, is as hard as a rock. Only ate 1 piece out of 5 pieces which cost $11. And a burger my husband good just so regular. This place become so dirty. Dust everywhere. As I sat down, I can see they just have everything everywhere. I wonder they have a management change. Service is okay therefore I still give them 3 stars.

I've been to this location at least 4 times and just about every time they mess up my burger. I keep coming back because the service is good, the drinks are great but omg how hard is it to make a classic burger with a beyond patty? Visit 1: i asked for cheese, i didn't get cheese Visit 2: i paid for the beyond patty and they gave me their veggie patty Visit 3: Tried the El Bandito and was severely disappointed as they were out of avocado and the patty was dry. Visit 4: they gave me a beef burger with a beyond burger on top....2 patties on one burger, one beef, one vegetarian. I laughed when they handed it to me. I keep giving y'all the benefit of the doubt but my patience is wearing very thin because i have to send my food back every visit.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2024 #1 Always loved Hopdoddy burgers. Went to this location last night with my wife and had a great experience. We ordered the parmesan truffle fries to start and they were delicious. I tried the Double Bacon Jam burger and it was fantastic; great depth of flavor. Ended on the Nutella Chocolate Pretzel Shake -- the BEST in town. The place was pleasant and had a positive ambiance. The staff was accommodating when we asked if they could turn a nearby TV down. The best part was the service. We were greeted not long after walking through the door and were helpfully guided through the ordering process and the selection of our table. As we sat down to eat, multiple different employees made sure to check on us and see if we needed anything. This was great! Huge shoutout to Martin, who was friendly and set the tone right from the beginning of our experience.

5 Stars for offering Force of Nature Regenerative Beef option and for every employee being kind and enthusiastic (every time we visit). Yes, there have been mess ups on the orders but they are eagerly willing to help or fix it. Good burgers + fries and kind people bring us back.

Pretty delicious crafty burgers. I got the Magic shroom this time. The goat cheese was a bit overpowering, to the point I couldn't taste the rest of the flavors. It was still very good, but when my burger also has pesto and shrooms on it, I want to taste allll the flavors! None the less hopdoddy makes a solid burger. Lots of flavor and lots of unique combos. I also LOVE their shakes! Nutella pretzel is so tasty! You can also spike them! Hopdoddy is always a good choice!

This is the worst food. I have ever tasted. I got chicken strips they where dry and not crispy as advertised. I don't understand what type of batter they used of good at all. The fries were hard please switch up the fries you have the worst fries ever and they were dry. If you're going to do that make the fries have some potato they were crunchy, like chips and unacceptable. This, I don't understand how they have other locations . First time trying last time going

The host was very welcoming, as well as, all the staff we spoke with. Everyone in our group enjoyed all our food: chicken tenders with hot honey sauce, chicken bacon ranch sandwich, truffle Brussel sprouts, traditional chicken tenders, and mini Oreo shake.

I purchased a Doddly Melt with fries and the fries came in a paper bag. How unsanitary and disgusting. I called the store and the manager Ramon told me this is the way that they do orders to go for French fries. He told me to take it up with the company. BUYER BEWARE: If your ordering to go, your fries will come in a paper bag like literally.

Came here with one of my best friends to grab a burger for his birthday!! Much to our surprise, it was pretty much empty. Granted, it was election night, so perhaps everyone was home on the edge of their seats waiting for the world to collapse? Who knows! Anyway, the empty dining room made for a quick and easy process for us, so woohoo!! I ordered the Llano Poblano, which is an angus beef burger with bacon, pepper jack cheese, poblanos, chipotle aioli, lettuce, onion, and tomato. Overall the burger was okay, but I wasn't as impressed as I remember being a few years ago whenever I came to this hopdoddy location. The burger was pretty dry and after a few bites, it was pretty much falling apart. The flavors were great but I just wish it was more juicy and composed! The chipotle aioli was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Super creamy with just the right amount of tang and sweetness. LOVED IT. Thankfully I was able to get a few extra sides of this and it helped TREMENDOUSLY with the dryness!! Also, it breaks my heart to say this but the beloved truffle fries were kind of disappointing as well. They were also pretty dry and cold, and overall just not as awesome as I remember them being the first time I tried them awhile back. Even though the food was a disappointment, the service was phenomenal!! Everyone was so sweet and helpful, and all employees were wearing masks so that was awesome. But yeah, aside from that, all things considered, everything was okay. Not bad, not great, just okay. I'm sure I'll be back at some point but I'm definitely not rushing in anytime soon.

Randy is really the best! He's in here every time I visit and he's always killing it! And with a smile and so friendly! The burgers are so good and don't sleep on making it a bowl! So yum! You can also add an egg to any burger and it's legit. Trust me. The Parmesan fries are amazing especially with the sauce!!! Oh my goodness The little Larry's pack a punch! Don't underestimate that little man by his size !

This burger has been on our list of places to visit for a long while now, but we never made the plunge until recently. The parking was absolutely packed to the brim because of the location in an outlet mall like area, but aside from that, nothing but positives. First of all. The atmosphere was pretty average, but the employees were a blast. A nice guy in glasses and a hat and a blonde girl in a hoodie were serving us that day, and both of them deserve five stars and a raise. Only really small thing I wasn't a fan of was no paper towel rolls in the bathroom aside from the one sitting there on the side with water prints from everyone touching it. Didn't feel like the cleanest thing so I just shook my hands around like an idiot (don't worry, I was alone) for like 5 minutes to dry them. But, like I said, very small. Onto the food: I got the Primetime burger, which was pretty good, I don't think I liked the steak sauce on it, but the cook of the burger was fantastic, so it was just my personal taste and I won't knock it. The second burger was the Bacon Jam one. Absolutely phenomenal. Top 5 burgers in the DFW area, easily. The subtle sweetness combined with the fattiness of the cheese and juiciness of the burger cant be beat. I will probably only order two of these burgers at this place from now on. We all also got to share a bowl of fries, pretty good normal thing fries. The sauce they used in it was pretty great though. The last thing I got was the salted caramel shake, which was delicious and pretty tough to screw up on. The kicker is that I got it for free since it was my first time here. I absolutely loved that and this place.

Yes, this place is known for their burgers, this is true, BUT...have you tried their Big Larry or Lil' Larry?! After a long weekend, these hit the spot. That Grand Marnier top off is EVERYTHING! The Lil' Larry does the trick, but the Big Larry guarantees for a good night. If you do want to feed the alcohol, try their fries - the Parmesan truffle fries with the green chili queso, perfection. I tried the nacho fries also, they were pretty good - if they had added ground beef to them, they would've been even better!

Hamburger was disappointing, I expected better quality. Nothing I'd come back for. Fries were good, but not worth the price.

We went to try out Hopdoddy's fries since we had heard so much about them, and we were not disappointed! The fries tend to be a little pricy but they're large portions and meant for sharing with a group. Parmesan Truffle Fries - 8/10; crunchy, well seasoned, and flavorful! The truffle aioli was a great dipping sauce to go with the fries. It leaned a little on the salty side but was great otherwise. Buffalo fries - 7/10; the flavor was great but the sauce made the fries a little soggy. Nacho fries - 6/10; good taste and worked well with the toppings, but we preferred the flavorings of the other fries more. We'll surely be back again to try the burgers, but you can't go wrong with making a pit stop here for some quality fries!

I ordered easily online around 845pm, they close at 10pm Saturdays-- and it was ready for pick up within 15 minutes. Great! It was bagged really well with napkins and ketchup and my name on the bag. The Goodnight/Good Cause burger was $10.75 and was way undercooked. The meat didn't have any flavor of it's own. The BBQ sauce was yummy! The burger is very sloppy which sucks. The parmesan truffle were a generous portion enough for 2 and cost $9.35. The fries seemed kind of stale but warm. Only the top corner was seasoned with Parmesan and chives and I didn't even taste the truffle aioli. Total disappointment overall and will not come back.

Prepare to be kicked out. Imagine being on a date seated in bar open seating. After about 15minutes with no service from the bar being asked to move by the employees, no tables open 30 degrees outside. That was my and another groups experience as we were both forced to essentially leave. Its members only I guess I'd go to a different hopdoddy. This is for sure the worst of the many hopdoddy choices around.
