"Hooked is a fantastic fish shop run by local chefs Kristin and Dan Donovan. Hooked sells solely 100% responsibly sourced fish and shellfish. The Donovans work directly with Great Lakes fishers and local fish farmers in order to vet quality and ethical impact. Brightly lit, the fresh fish and shellfish are displayed on sparkling beds of ice. Hooked also carries a variety of local produce and home-made soups and sauces. Not sure how to prepare your freshly caught dinner? Your delicious meal is just a couple of questions and answers away from the friendly and helpful Hooked staff. Fish market + they carry some nice dry goods. Kinda pricy but quality is great. On Saturdays they do a salmon bagel special, but often sell out really early.

Great quality fish here! Super kind and friendly staff, they saw me coming with my stroller and opened the door for me. I got salmon and fish sticks, gave me some great cooking tips too! Definitely coming back.

Always great to pick up any seafood from Hooked! Friendly staff also give advice on good recipes and how to prep. Fish is always fresh and lasts, not like the stuff you'd buy from any grocery store. Highly recommend!

This has become our regular go-to fish shop in the hood. Produce is delicious fresh. The owners are extremely helpful and informative. Today I forgot my wallet and they let me pay over the phone when I got home. They are great people. Just tanned a giant piece of fresh cod - delicious!

(Review is for lunch takeaway not the shop) Fried fish and shrimp po'boy were each great. Delicious, not greasy, and quality ingredients. (Blackbird baguette for the sandwich, yum.) Fries were super soggy/greasy though, like the fryer wasn't hot enough. But you're there for the fish anyway, and that's stellar.

This is a wonderful shop to find a selection of fresh fish, seafood and a few extra fancy things like caviar and imported creme fraiche. The owners know their products so well they can give much better advice on cooking, storing etc. than anyone at a big box fish counter. Plus they're beyond friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this place to any seafood fan.
