Should have read the reviews first…exact same issue happened to me. The coffee table I ordered arrived damaged and they claimed it happened with the shipper, even though on the packing slip that THEY SIGNED, it says the item was scratched and chipped. When I confronted them, their only defense was the photos they took immediately after the piece was finished…which was a full month before it shipped! So it clearly scratched and chipped while it was waiting to be picked up from their warehouse. Inexcusable for such an expensive item. Buyer beware

Like others who have provided reviews, I had a terrible experience with Hollywood at Home. I purchased a table for $2,000 that arrived damaged. They would not accept the return. This is the first review I have ever posted, but I am doing so because I feel compelled to warn buyers about shopping at this store.

Had a bad experience with an online purchase from this store. Very disappointing. I was planning on making a large fabric order from then based on selections from my interior decorator. Will sadly be looking elsewhere.

The textiles and vintage are insanely gorgeous! I want it all!

Shopping here is a pleasure. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful when I need assistance. At the same time they make me feel at ease to spend as much time as I need searching through the many offerings of fabric, wallpaper and furnishings. They offer a well curated collection of designers and such beautiful fabrics. The sales staff always gets back to me promptly with availability and purchases are quick and easy.

I've had quite the opposite experience, each time I have visited this beautiful showroom, than the other reviewer. In May of 2015, this showroom was merged from two small showrooms, to the current, spacious, location which may have contributed to the issue mentioned below. The selection of fabrics is beautifully displayed, incredibly diverse and would please even the most discerning designer. It is a mid-century modern lovers dream as there are some beautiful, unusual finds here and each time I visit, I find something new and cleverly displayed. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, organized and Lauren Scanlon was so easy and pleasant to work with and responded promptly to my inquiries. Along with the nice selection of fabrics, vintage finds and custom furniture, there are small, interesting gifts and artisan pottery that make the perfect gift for a special someone. My advise if you are shopping for some great designer touches, custom one-of-a-kind furniture & accessories, or looking for new inspiration for your home, this place is not to be missed! I have recommended this design store to others and it's now there go to for special, unique finds. Like any shopping experience, it is what you make it!
