Great place to find batik print clothes, with some of the shopkeepers still making some of their items themselves. Pictured here is the old family business Wellie Batik, where you will find beautiful products and friendly service. There are other stores also worth visiting, even if the shopping centre itself feels dated

This shopping centre seems to have trapped in time. Other than the old schools shops, there are some notable tenants including Cold Storage and Guardian. There are also many services including massage parlours, manicure parlours, hairdressers etc. A gem in the west. Hopefully, it continues to survive the test of time

The parking rate here is somewhat "unreasonable". There’s no grace period, so be prepared to pay steep fees — feels like a trap that's out to kill

Small mall with a CS First supermarket and a drug store on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a mix of shops including a home diy store. Parking lot downstairs. Right off the exit of Holland MRT and a block away from the bus stop including bus 48. Holland Village is just 2 a block away as well.

This is a tourist place and favorite weekend plaza, a nice area full of foodie shops and commodities. This isn't bustling so much because it's not a highly populated neighborhood as much as before. Several old HDB blocks have been demolished, making way for new private buildings. Despite the tranquility, there are good options for food and drinks, providing a relaxing spot for a snack after a hectic day. Trendy place to visit!

Holland Village is a nice place to go for people watching, food and drink. Most people appear to be people watching and its nothing but entertainment on the right day. There are cafes, bars, restaurants as well as some shops. The difference between this area and other places similar is that EVERYONE is outside. The street is packed with seating and people standing. There is no through traffic in this area and is pedestrian only. Parking is free and nearby as well. I didn't stay in this area too long but got the impression that it could get pretty crazy. Holland Village is one of those places that has everything you need. Food? There's a great selection of both local hawker, coffee shop, as well as restaurants ranging from both affordable to pricey. There are also cafes (Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Haagen Dazs, indie cafes, etc), grocery shop (Cold Storage), desserts (froyo, churros, ice cream, etc), and bars if you like. Nonetheless, Holland Village isnt just about food. You can find most of the major banks here (DBS, Standard Chartered, Citibank, OCBC, etc). There are emergency 24h medical clinics here too, and even beauty/ nail salons at the shopping centre. If you are willing to walk out a little, Holland Village is located near two wonderful estates. Chip Bee gardens nearby has great restaurants and cafes. The Holland Road residential estate behind is home to many senior citizens. There, you can get a feel of Singapore's local HDB culture with the NTUC, neighborhood shops and the hawker centre selling cheap food. Overall, I'd say that Holland Village is a quaint space that is now a lot more accessible with the new circle line station. I live nearby, and I grew up along with Holland Village, witnessing its change over the years. If you're a tourist hardpressed for time, Holland Village may be a disappointment since there isnt much to see. However, if you're looking to immerse in a less touristy and more local culture, Holland Village could be the place to chill for an afternoon or a post-dinner drink!

Welcome to my hood! I lived two years in Singapore and was happy to spend it in Holland Village. Yes, it is more expensive to live here compared to some other parts in Singapore but in my opinion it is well worth it. I love the fact that most restaurants and bars have an outdoor seating area: they close off the streets at night and they bring out tables and chairs. I like to chill with a beer (grab that HH deal!!) after work or hang around on a weekend night. In Singapore, places where you can sit, eat, drink and relax outside are rare. It is conveniently connected by both MRT and bus, it has some good beauty salons, a 24/7 Starbucks and the cold storage is a bit cramped but this is one of the better stocked outlets I've seen on the Island. But above all, I just like the vibe, it was home during my time in Singapore and if I ever return, I would certainly look for a place in Holland V again!

Holland Village is well known for being one of the more expensive neighbourhoods in Singapore due to its location. However, if you drop by and explore, there are some eating places that offer value for money meals! I usually come here a few times a year for drinking session with friends, it's usually more popular for in the Western part of Singapore. With the MRT station, you can drink and take the public transport home after that, without paying lots more for taxi or drive at this place with limited parking lot. To me, finding time just to look for a parking lot can be time wasting and if you are meeting with your friends, you might miss out quite a bit of end up reaching there but they have to leave, it happen to me before, pure frustration I tell you. As for the eating places, there are a good varieties, not many but you should be able to find something to eat. I haven't found an outstanding place to eat, most of the ones I went to are just normal and you can get them elsewhere. But if I do, I let you guys know! After all, this Traveling Dreamliner (me) loves to travel! From East to West, South to North on an airplane especially, I go! :D

I remember Holland Village of the 90s. Cha Cha Cha's is still around, Haagen Dazs is still there, Party Time, the old shopping centre filled with souvenirs and SAS uniforms. Holland Village hasn't changed much. They do close down the road to traffic though in the evenings and parking is rather difficult. I like that Coffee Bean is 24 hours.

Just a 5-minute bus ride away, Holland Village is a spot I'm at, at any time of the day, any day, and for all occasions - grocery shopping for gourmet cold cuts and cheeses at their Cold Storage, hacking away at reports on my laptop in the Starbucks or CBTL, getting a fill of my favourite wanton mee and rojak at the Holland Village Hawker, a haircut at Toni & Guy's, grabbing a bowl of hot ramen from the various delicious ramen bars and Sushi Tei, beefing up on carpaccio at one of my favourite Italian places, Amici, stuffing my face with yummy and affordable ice cream at the Island Creamery, and knocking back a few at Tango's.... It's a place by everyone, for anyone!

Holland Village is a good city center for the expat crowd here in Singapore. It is well connected by MRT and bus service and has a good mix of restaurants and coffee shops and other local businesses.

Holland Village is a spot that I go to at least 2-3 (or even more!) times a week, as I live near the area. There is everything here and its super convenient to get your errands done here as well as chill out and get a good meal. Made up of a shopping center and shop houses, it has everything that you need. Banks, restaurants, cafes, clinics, beauty services and more. Banks include HSBC, Standard Chartered, Maybank and OUB. There are two medical clinics, open 24 hours. There is a Cold Storage supermarket which is conveniently 24 hours and also a Guardian Pharmacy which is open til midnight. The back road is made up of a lot of restaurants--from Mexican to American, Japanese and Vietnamese... there are tons of choices. The shopping center (there are 2) has a lot of beauty services like nail and hair salons and clothes and antique shops. One of my favorite spots in Singapore.

Holland Village isn't the best place to go in Sing., but it isn't the worst. You can find coffee shops, a ton of restaurants, hawker stalls, a grocery store, and more. Cameras seem to be on every corner coming out of the MRT station, but I guess that's Singapore. The hawker stalls are on the mediocre end and the whole place feels average. In other words, this is decent if you are in the area and need something to do in the afternoon, but there are much better places to spend your time in Singapore if you are pressed for time.

Holland V is an animal unto itself. Though things seem to have been slipping for a few years.

We used to hang out in the area when we were teenagers- tons of hip, fun restaurants and cafes. Now that the MRT is extended right to the doorstep of The VIllage, it's even more convenient and popular than every before.

I love this place. It has a lot of food to choose from, from very cheap dishes to more expensive restaurants. And there are cuisines from all over the world. There is a money exchange too, the one near Cold Storage has pretty good exchange rates. And if you need internet connection for free, just sit in front of the Starbucks coffee and enjoy free internet connection without the registration hassle.
