First time I have used this store, ordered size 9 air max 1 in the sale for £80, was sent an email 1 hour later saying order cancelled due to item out of stock, the same item that I can still buy which is in stock at £135. Will never use this site again what a scam.

Supported Hip in store for years but online is awful. Countless orders I’ve had refunded with no notice or email. Sale items listed online rarely in stock but online listing still there. Can’t work out if it’s dishonesty, incompetence or both. So sad how this iconic Leeds name has fallen so far.

Ordered some trainers via dpd to work. Order delivery time was really late so had to get sent to locker. Locker didn’t open when I tried with code, tried to contact dpd who said now would be sent back to HIP. Have contacted HIP via website and no reply!!!!!!!! Awful customer service

In-store is great. Online is appalling. I ordered a pair of Universal Works Oxford pants in mid-June. By early August, the seam across the ass had split (pictured), and obviously I don't really want to expose that for the world! I emailed Hip Store on 18th August, 3rd September and again this morning (18th September). I have had automated responses and nothing else. Absolutely non-existent customer service. Do not buy from them, or if you do, go in-store.

Refrain from wasting your time.Two separate orders placed and two refunds within 48 hours of placing the orders.This is the first time I have encountered such an issue with any other company. Additionally, they continue to display the items as being in stock and available for purchase.

Followed an ad on instagram & bought a pair of trainers. Payment taken immediately. Get an email 10 minutes later to say they’re out of stock (but all sizes still available online) Refund is 5-10 days. Joke of a company

Time wasters. I made two orders, both of which I got sent the wrong item. I then spent an afternoon on the phone with them trying to sort it out. They sent me a £10 gift card as an apology, which I appreciated. However, when I tried to use the gift card online - where my original order was placed - it didn't work. When I called customer service, they informed me that the gift card could only be used in their Leeds store. I live in Bristol. Why offer decent customer service only to take it away at the last moment? JD Sports (owners of HIP) have done much to damage the menswear sector over the past few years; the least they could do is get customer service right. I am extremely frustrated with my interactions with them.

Sent out clothes that had clearly been used with slight marks on and the tags reattached using a tagging gun. I raised this issue over email and had no response. This JD owned company has lost everything that made it once good. The customer service is shocking, just look at the other reviews. Do yourself a favour and shop with someone else that stocks the item your looking for.
