In-store is great. Online is appalling. I ordered a pair of Universal Works Oxford pants in mid-June. By early August, the seam across the ass had split (pictured), and obviously I don't really want to expose that for the world! I emailed Hip Store on 18th August, 3rd September and again this morning (18th September). I have had automated responses and nothing else. Absolutely non-existent customer service. Do not buy from them, or if you do, go in-store.

Sent out clothes that had clearly been used with slight marks on and the tags reattached using a tagging gun. I raised this issue over email and had no response. This JD owned company has lost everything that made it once good. The customer service is shocking, just look at the other reviews. Do yourself a favour and shop with someone else that stocks the item your looking for.

Time wasters. I made two orders, both of which I got sent the wrong item. I then spent an afternoon on the phone with them trying to sort it out. They sent me a £10 gift card as an apology, which I appreciated. However, when I tried to use the gift card online - where my original order was placed - it didn't work. When I called customer service, they informed me that the gift card could only be used in their Leeds store. I live in Bristol. Why offer decent customer service only to take it away at the last moment? JD Sports (owners of HIP) have done much to damage the menswear sector over the past few years; the least they could do is get customer service right. I am extremely frustrated with my interactions with them.

great shop in person, online is a nightmare. Almost non existent customer service and very behind the times tech. No option to cancel immediately after apart from calling customer service waiting for hours for nobody to pick up. Unless you know exactly what you want, don't bother. Or go into the store in person.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THE COMPANY!! Bought some trainers for summer. They sent me two left trainers and refused to refund of fix the issue as I didn’t notice within their returns window. Scammers.

FAULTY ITEM AND NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE Faulty item and non-existent customer service from the online team. It seems the JD take over has really made a pig's ear of this judging by the rest of the recent reviews. We'll likely soon be flooded out with 5 star bot ratings, but until then, I'll be contacting Trading Standards with all the accumulated evidence.

Avoid at all costs. Even if it’s more expensive to shop elsewhere, do it. The money you save here will be spent with your time contacting their “customer service” team. Ordered some items in the sale, 2 items didn’t arrive in the box (which was extremely poorly packaged). We notified the customer service team and they told us it was because the products were out of stock and those items would be cancelled. After a few days, they hadn’t been cancelled so we chased up. Apparently there was no notice of us contacting them and they accused us of stealing the items! They clearly have issues with their stock system and it seems they would rather accuse their customers of stealing instead of investigating properly. After a lengthy process, our bank ended up refunding us. HIP were useless throughout the entire process. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but they showed very little care to us throughout the whole process so I doubt they’ll care about this either! Hopefully it will prevent this experience from happening to anyone else in the future.

Like many others who have left a review, my experience has been terrible. The sent me a completely different product to the one I ordered, BUT the worst part is that someone had put the right product label and stuck it over the wrong product label, which had clearly been done on purpose (see picture)! Shocking service and won't be ordering from here again
