This place lived up to the hype. The brunch food is equally as beautiful as it is delicious. The Cured Trout dish was exceptional, and the French Toast was excellent with generous toppings. Rachel provided attentive and friendly service.

We went here for our fancy dinner out while in town. Start strong with delicious and beautiful cocktails. I loved the flower accents. I really enjoyed mine. I started with the mushrooms and it was so creamy and comforting. Big size and good for sharing. Even though this was delicious, the favorite appetizer was the pike. It was fantastic. For mains, I had the brown butter pasta but it was a bit too lemony for me. I did try the chicken leg and it was delicious. So juicy and well seasoned.

Stars infinity. Everything was perfect. The drink, the entree and the dessert. Most flavorful things I've ever had. So warm and long lasting flavors, I finished each dish. Portions were perfect, I couldn't be happier. I had the Saskatoon Club, Smoked Trout, and sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream. If I am ever in this area again, I will eat all of my meals here! Everything was nice and light and still so affordable for such quality! Thank you for the amuse-bouche. Very unexpected! I had the borscht. Normally I don't care for beets, but I loved your borscht!

At first, the portions looked small, and I thought they wouldn’t be enough. I was wrong! They were the perfect size, and both my boyfriend and I left full. The flavours were well balanced and worked together nicely. Their seasonal menu is a real highlight as well. Constantly changing, built around local ingredients, and always offering something new. I had the chicken with gnocchi, cauliflower, raisins, and capers, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very upscale, and the staff were kind. Overall, a solid dining experience. :)🥂🌱🥙

We are staying in Saskatoon for just one night on our Western Canada road trip so we wanted to pick a great place for a late lunch when we got in. I’m so glad we picked Hearth among 4 places in the downtown area. We walked up around 15:00 without a reservation on Sunday. It was busy on the patio but we were able to score a table in the shade over looking South Saskatchewan River and the promenade. Since our table was at one end of the patio, it was a great spot to people watch too. Everyone from the hostess and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We placed our orders quickly even though there were quick a few good options on the brunch menu. I had a traditional breakfast and a Saskatoon berry lemonade and my husband ordered yogurt & granola and a long black. When he had told me he would be getting a long black, I had to do a double take in the menu and there it was. I could count with one hand how many places in western Canada I had been to with long black or café allongé on the menu. I was impressed and he said it was very good too. My breakfast was scrumptious with 2 thick pieces of sour dough toasts, 2 plump sausage patties, 2 perfectly fried (with brown edges) sunny side up eggs and crispy and soft potatoes! I ate very slowly to enjoy every bite with my refreshing lemonade on the beautiful patio in a warm & sunny late Sunday afternoon.

Situated inside a spectacular gallery, Hearth Restaurant is a lovely spot to dine. We caught up with old friends from school on a reunion weekend. Seated on the patio for lunch, we enjoyed delicious food, with a water view on a spectacular late June day. The food was beautifully plated. Our server was attentive but never intrusive, giving us ample time together. We will definitely be back when we travel here again!

The restaurant has a stylish and elegant atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The food and desserts offer unique flavors that let you experience something new. They’re also very cooperative when it comes to celebrating special occasions like birthdays — just make sure to coordinate with them in advance. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back.

I had the experience of eating at this restaurant a few times now . We came here for lunch and brunch with some company. We all enjoyed our time here as ithe atmosphere was relaxed and quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The Hearth restaurant is located inside the Remai Modern Art Museum next to the gift shop when you walk in. It also has an outdoor seating area that would be nice on a nice day with great views even though we sat inside. I had the burger and it was very delicious and would have it again.

Yelp
Situated inside a beautiful museum (Remai Modern). I recommend visiting the art gallery as well as the restaurant. They get busy for dinner so making reservation is recommended. They have a tasting menu for $75 or you can order a la carte from their menu. We ordered a couple of items from the menu, the smoked pike was delicious. Salty and smoked. Beef tartare was on the spicy side, still good. Mushrooms were very creamy and very filling. Ended the meal with haskap berry sorbet, local berry. Ambiance is modern and classy. Service was great. I didn't have a chance to try their cocktails but they had some interesting options

Yelp
Nice stop on our way through Saskatoon, which was recommended to us by a local we met in town. The name "Hearth" is really a perfect description for the food. Menu is small, which is always best, and is divided into small, medium and large plates. To start we had their signature mushroom dish as well as the trout and beet tartare. Both were excellent, but really the mushroom dish was out of this world! Can't miss that when ordering. We also had the stuffed pasta and carrot dish both of which were very flavorful. Any time a vegetable is a main you know it's going to be good. And to finish we had the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious! Final review: 5/5, great atmosphere and even tastier food!

Yelp
I was looking forward to enjoying this place based on the ratings. I am truly disappointed by the quality of the food and service. My date and I arrived for our meal and was seated promptly but throughout the evening, my chair was kicked as staff navigate the crammed space. The mushroom dish was delicious. We order Trout and Beef dishes, which took really long to come out and after we asked for them. The beef was hard and chewy, it was supposed to me medium rare but obviously was reheated and well done pieces were put under the one with some red on them. Trout was tasty and I enjoyed the sauce but nothing impressive. Could be due to reheating.. I think the food has potential but something with the staff that night really impacted the quality of the whole experience. I won't go back. Very disappointed

Yelp
First of all, Fantastic services! We went there for lunch drink at dinner and the two waitresses we had were friendly and sweet. Ambiance of an upscaled modern restaurant, and they did it nicely. Food and drinks were spectacular; locals at the hotel we stayed at say they are one of top 100 restaurant in Canada; yes they should be. Food is light and has great complexity to it; coming back to try other stuffs.

Yelp
Two of us came in for supper on a snowy Saturday night based upon the Yelp reviews. It was nice to see a busy restaurant. We ordered two dishes to share; Stuffed Pasta: roasted squash & ricotta caramelle with corn, brown butter and herbs, and a Butter Poached Pike; northern pike poached in smoked butter with tempura pike quenelle, beluga lentils and beets. The dishes were excellent, tasty and beautifully cooked. Our server was excellent and made sure we had everything. The restaurant decor could have been better and the seats were rock hard, which detracted from an excellent meal.

Yelp
My favourite restaurant in Saskatoon, hands down. It's the best place to bring friends and family who are visiting from out of town. The service and ambience is warm, and the food is the shining star. Big, hearty portions, intentional ingredients, perfect flavours and impeccable delivery. You can't leave here without trying the cheddar crueller!!

Yelp
This was a highlight of my first visit to Saskatoon - and they did not disappoint at all! A simple menu celebrating the main ingredients in a farm-to-table style, Hearth has a slow-moving menu that is sure to bring comfort and delight to every palate and diet. We went with the tasting menu - the easiest and best choice for a larger group so long as you all eat pretty much anything (few dietary restrictions). We had some food sensitivities at the table that were easily accommodated with each course at no extra cost - a great service that ensured everyone enjoyed the meal thoroughly. There's also wine pairings to go with the menu - highly recommend for a full experience, so long as you're not driving! The mushrooms were a complete standout - cheesy and aromatic, served in a small skillet to go with slices of crispy bread. The mix of mushrooms may not taste distinct but the combination makes for a full mushroomy and comforting experience. The ravioli (for us it was ricotta filled) was also very notable with the fresh egg pasta served at the perfect al dente texture. From others in my party I heard in the fall it may be squash filled, which would make for a great sweet and savoury contrast. Service was attentive and quickly observed our sharing habits to accommodate the table, and had just the right amount of flexibility and attention to give us our very own experience while catering to the rest of the floor. The restaurant was not too dim - though definitely on the moodier side as lighting goes. I'd be very interested to return in the summer to see how the menu changes with the seasons!

Yelp
Next level food. Top shelf staff. If you want great meals with a fun and chill atmosphere this is the place. Ask for Tom you will not regret it. Come hungry

Yelp
Food is good. Found it a quiet atmosphere. Not hurried to leave. Special anniversary dinner.

Yelp
Can't wait to visit the new space and enjoy all the wonderful food and service we've come to love from Hearth. One of the top three restaurants in Saskatoon for us!

Yelp
Had birthday reservations but they didn't even try to seat us at the window. Food was ok, but there are better options for brunch in Saskatoon, which showed with the half empty restaurant. Staff seemed pretentious rather than friendly. Disappointing since the old location seemed more warm and served quality food.

Yelp
This restaurant is a gem and an absolute pleasure to have in our city. I came for the first time for a casual but nice dinner with a friend, and it was absolutely perfect. Sitting humbly on what appears to be a residential street corner, it is absolutely worth driving out to pay this place a visit. Service was appropriate for a busy Friday night dinner service; we made a reservation easily through open table, and we were seated quickly. It was a slight wait for our server to attend to us, but we otherwise enjoyed prompt service the remainder of the night. Decor was pleasant; classy but humble. The food is farm to table themed, and is reminiscent of similarly themed restaurants in Saskatoon (Primal, The Hollows) as well as elsewhere (Fable in Vancouver, Pigeonhole in Calgary). With fresh earthy ingredients, there was not one element I didn't enjoy. We started with the wild and cultivated mushroom appetizer which was stunning: a beautifully presented collection of mushrooms swimming in smooth white melted cheese, along with a side of crusty bread for dipping. Both filling and satisfying. For the main, I had the pork belly, and it was absolutely outstanding: soft, moist, and with just the right touch of crispy crackling. The spaetzle with sun-dried tomatoes was a wonderful backdrop. Pricing ran around $50-60 for an appetizer, main, and a drink. Truly an outstanding experience, and well worth the price. I'm already excited for my next visit, and all the people I plan to share this place with.

Yelp
I love that this restaurant that trends local produce. The service was excellent!!! They really try to please. Love the China dishes. The mushroom appetizer was superb. I was disappointed in the chicken. It tasted fatty and was not what I liked. The rest of the dish was great...mashed potatoes and vege. The sticky toffee dessert was delicious but small.

Yelp
Very good food prepared by food loving chefs. Portions a little on the small side but usual for this high end type eatery. Well worth a visit for any food lover out there!

Courtnie Z.

Yelp
This is our go-to place to bring our friends and family from out of town. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and the staff are all above and beyond helpful and kind. It's the spot where we usually end up staying way too long because everything is so good!

Yelp
Always amazing! Staff always so friendly, food is always on point, dessert is always a must no matter how full I am. Pickerel wings are my favourite for sure!

Yelp
A twist on a classic brunch menu. We ordered the trout (potato and zucchini hash brown pancake with a delicious dill cream cheese underneath, topped with poached eggs and cured trout) and eggs benny (had a salmon fish cake as the base rather than an English muffin). Both dishes were delicious and the potatoes that came with the eggs benny were really crispy.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Hearth for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, we shared the bison carpaccio and a cheese/bacon donut thing that was on special. Both were amazing! We then had the beef dish and the pasta, again the food was spectacular! The service was great too, staff was extremely friendly and gave excellent recommendations. We finished off with the truffles and apple pie. Our only critique was that it was a bit chilly inside, but they have a massive window and it's Saskatoon so it kind of is what it is.

Yelp
Went for supper and had a fantastic meal and service! The chicken was great! My son loved the ham and asparagus appetizer special! We will be back

Yelp
Call for a reservation RIGHT NOW for supper Wednesday through Saturday or brunch on Sunday. Plan for a three course meal and ride share so you can pair with cocktails and wine. The presentations are beautiful and the tastes don't disappoint. The carrot and squash appy was the table favourite. A wise woman at our table saved some of her mushroom starter to have with her steak. Every dish was prepared to perfection. Other than choosing off the menu the biggest challenge was not licking the charming plates.

Yelp
This place has it all...food, ambience...well, they were outta pie but I won't hold it against you. Everything was delicious...food, drinks, carrot cake. Place is a bit hard to find and parking can be challenging (especially during ex week) but I highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
The food is absolutely outstanding and customer service is second to none. The liver and onions appetizer is brilliant.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this restaurant serving local fare. Being a foodie and lover of local food, I was less than impressed. The pike was salty and my partner's chicken was greasy and tasteless. The waitress asked if we wanted the evening's drink special to which both of us answered yes and she came back with one drink. ??! I will not be returning to Hearth.
