Havana Hideout

I have never had a worse restaurant experience in my life. If you like being insulted and kicked out of a restaurant for ordering beers while waiting for your party to arrive, then this is the place for you. Two of my friends and I were sitting at an outdoor table, drinking beers, waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. Every few minutes the waitstaff would come to our table asking us to order food, eventually escalating to snide remarks about how they better get a good tip from us. We wanted to wait for everyone to arrive, with how overpriced the beer is there it didn't seem too unreasonable to hold off on the food for a little bit so we could all order together. After about fifteen minutes at most the owner came to our table and asked yet again if we were ready to order. We'd just gotten another beer and told her we were waiting for more friends to arrive before ordering, and she told us we had to leave because she had more important customers to seat. "I'm in the real estate business, I can't have you wasting space." The drinks are overpriced, the employees couldn't be any ruder, and all they do is cling to having been featured on TV once. This place is an embarrassment to the community.

The outside seating is fantastic. Very cozy. The front patio offers great people watching of local foot traffic. They have a bunch of different types of sangria. Pro-tip just get the pitcher. The food can be hit or miss but the fish tacos are usually a good bet. The inside is small and usually for regulars.

I sincerely hope that this place gets bought out. I love infrastructure and how the place looks. But that's literally all they have going for them. The customer service was beyond rude. A friend of mine mentioned that he had been there last year and the waitress said "YEAH YOU DIDN'T TIP LAST YEAR EITHER!!!" Every single waitress has this nasty look on their face like they hate being there. Not to mention I got hounded to order food until I eventually got kicked out. I had only been sitting there for 10 minutes and I even ordered a beer. I was waiting for my other friends to arrive...... I wish this place had an entirely new staff because it COULD have the potential of being a pretty hip place.

As seen on "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives," this place is certainly a dive. The food is prepared in a food truck and there is very little else that would constitute it as a restaurant. However, this was just some great food. My wife and I went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Service was very good but it wasn't all that busy. We sat outside in the little "hideout" courtyard. Live music played while we enjoyed our Cuban cuisine with about a dozen other people. I don't really know much about Cuban food so I'm not going to critique ( I got the "Guy Platter" and my wife got chicken tacos) but it was all very good! Very unique place for someone interested in something different!

Cool outdoor space with good live music, but the food is another story and a DDD let down. Guacamole - far from the best I've ever had. Sangria - same Fish tacos - best in palm beach? Seriously Cuban sandwich was decent but have had much better, and the Papusa was good

Super Awesome. Go Tuesday or Thursday nights. Tacos $1.50 each. They are off the charts awesome. I always end up getting the Pork Tacos + The Green Salsa (ask for it) and a Vanilla Porter. They have the smallest bar in Palm beach. I've spent many a nights there kicking a few back and enjoying good conversations with the patrons. Guy from Diners DriveIns and Dives ate here.

Food was awesome! Chips are homemade fresh and salsa is off the chain. Chipolte salsa you have to request it is the bomb. Had a young child with us they made my son's food to order was not on the menu. Prices were fair which results in a good tip. Homemade lemonade not loaded with sugars or overpoweringly lemony. Service was tough and poor, but if you become a regular your in. Had pioono, fish tacos, guesadilla, drunken chicken all delicious. Sit on the sidewalk and people watch as you eat for entertainment. Live music every night it is not obnoxious music either. Great vibe.

I had a horrible experience here. I came with some friends just to have a drink, but then we saw an "offer" of tacos cheap with the order of a drink, so we decided to order some. Finally the blonde waitress said we hadn´t ordered the tacos and we needed to pay them apart. So we were supposed to pay $3 per person and finally we paid like 8 or 9. Besides, we asked for separeted checks and we didn´t have them... The owner didn´t give us a solution either. So I´ll never come back again!!!!
