High quality Japanese cakes at high prices. I’ve been to Japan many times and this place is very Japanese, with a vibe that might seem strange to New Yorkers. I’ve eaten in here a couple of times and today took out a slice of tasty Irish cream cheesecake for $12. The size of the slice was a little small compared to other cakes I’ve had here and the ones in the case. It’s good quality but for $12 I’d like a little more generous portion.

One of my favorite spots in the city. Had to bring my mom to try. Service is always amazing. I recommend trying the tea. I love the grape jasmine tea, they make sure it is steeped well. For the cakes, just the simple cheesecake, Mille crepe with fruits or banana is good

However, the team seemed to be less organized, so it wasn’t clear that who would take my order and who was in charge to refill the water, and it could be a bit slow. Overall, the food was good, but the service was just mediocre.

We love this place a lot! Real tea leaves and fruits in the fruit tea. Everything is cleaned and well served. Ppl are friendly even we are a bit late to be there (half an hour before they close). They try best to serve fast otherwise tea would be too hot to be drunk before we have to leave, lol We also love the menu. Less selection makes better quality! The prices are approximate. The surrounding is comfortable. Wood decoration looks old school but we love it. We will surely come back again.

The type of dessert (cakes) place that don't taste heavy at all. Everything seems well balanced and perfect, visually beautiful, very fresh ingredients and tasted awesome! Service was friendly. Would definitely come back to taste the rest of their selections. Highly recommend their cheesecake and green tea mousses cake. Their royal milk tea cake was good too but didn't like the after taste of the alcohol they use. Lady M royal milk tea cake is better.

The chocolate cake is absolutely divine. Nosé is the nicest staff member and I wish all of the staff was as helpful. If you opt to dine in, the atmosphere feels like a fancy café in an anime. This is my favorite location of the two in NYC. Will miss this location!

We love the aesthetics of HARBS. Some of us had had their cakes abroad before and wanted to try the food this time. The food was pretty good - taste not amazing but the presentation was beautiful. The dessert cakes were amazing! We tried a few different ones and liked the fresh fruit Mille crepes the best. We came a bit before regular lunch time and were seated right away. It not busy shortly after we were seated. The ordering was a bit complicated. We had a bigger family order and our server got a bit impatient with us during the ordering process. She also left mid-ordering to go to the kitchen to help without letting us know - she just left. Overall, we loved the aesthetics and the dessert but a bit disappointed in the food and service

I've been to this place twice and honestly my second time here was a much better experience than my first time here. I will say that my first time here was a very long time ago (prior to COVID). We came here around 1 pm on a Saturday and they told us to find seats - they actually have more seating in the back and we got seats immediately for a group of four. They do require that everyone orders something from the menu so definitely something to keep in mind. They also have a lunch time special. We decided to just get tea and cake to share amongst all of us. I got the royal milk tea - which came in an actual tea pot which I was not expecting (it's actually a pretty good deal for $9). The tea itself was pretty good - it isn't too sweet at all but very rich. We decided to get the green tea mousse cake which was not too sweet at all and the mousse on top was super jiggly. I would say the green tea flavor wasn't that strong. We also got the mocha cake which also wasn't too sweet at all but also was not super strong in mocha flavor as well. Overall the cakes were not that special. But I would say the teas are pretty good and it's a good place to sit around and chat with friends.

I loved the cakes at harbs, we had the strawberry and Mille fruit cake. Both a light fluffy and flavorful, definitely worth a try if you are in the mood for Japanese cake! My husband ordered the lunch meal ($25) that came with bacon and cheese omelet sandwich, Mille fruit cake, and English breakfast tea. I ordered a seafood salad and strawberry cake. Everything was tasty and fresh. Now here comes the minus one star- we waited 40 minutes for our food. I do want to make sure to mention that it was not the fault of the employees, the waitresses were kind and wonderful. I think they were just understaffed. So management should look into either hiring more people or do a reservation system. Probably worth noting that we came on a Saturday around 2:30pm and there were still a waiting list for dining in. We got seated in about 25 mins, then waited another 40 mins for food. The ambience of the restaurant was cute and chic. The decor were relaxing and artistic. We'd love to come back if somehow wait for food is shorter.

Ambiance: A cute and cozy spot for tea and dessert. The interior and ambiance give off the vibe of a cottage with the wood and wicker making it super homey. Prices: Their prices have gone up tremendously over the years with one cake slice alone ranging from $12 - 17 and tea is $8 - 9.50. With tax and tip, expect to spend about ~$30 each person. Their lunch special is a steal for $25 and you get a sample of everything with a few limitations: (1) you can only select a cup of coffee or English Breakfast for your beverage (with free refills) (2) you are limited to a certain selection of cakes (3) the slice of cake will be considerably a lot smaller compared to if you ordered it a la carte Food: I think the savory food here is just okay, but the portions are plentiful which makes up for it. The cakes are light, fluffy, and not too sweet which is what I prefer. Service: The staff was unattentive. There were 3-4 waiters that I saw servicing the seating area, but none came to check in on us after we were seated. It took us 10 minutes to flag someone down to take our order. We also had to try and flag someone down when we wanted refills and to get our check. The food came quickly.

Came to visit again after a couple years, and the place is just as I remembered it. Great ambiance and attentive staff. The staff members are very friendly here but sometimes service can get a little slow. The lunch special is an amazing deal at $25 for sandwich/salad, a small slice of cake, and refillable hot tea or coffee. Bummer that the cake offerings today were the same ones as last time I visited so I didn't get to try any new flavors.

This place is phenomenal in term of fresh cakes. I find American cakes too dense, buttery, and sweet. This place does it right. I ordered a chocolate cake and a strawberry mille-feuille to-go. I was impressed by the freshness of both cakes, the frosting was sweet but not overwhelming. I also loved the ambiance at this Chelsea location and would come back here for tea/lunch. The service was very efficient and attentive.

I've been for their weekend lunch special and just tea/desserts on a different occasion! Food: Their $25 weekend lunch special is definitely worth it for the price! Comes with choice of drink (English breakfast tea or coffee with free refills), entree (pick from different sandwiches or salad), and slice of cake. Their slices of cake on their own can be quite pricey. English breakfast tea: good with large portion, but they offer other really great tea options on their menu, so I wish we could pick from those for the lunch special since I'm not a coffee lover. Vegetable Omelette Sandwich: This is literally an omelette as the filling for the sandwich, which also comes with a side salad and potatoes. The portion is large, and it is quite filling. I recommend this if you want to get your protein and veggies in! Green Tea Mousse Cake: The slice that comes with the lunch special is smaller than the regular one, but I think the portion is just right for me. The cake is moist, but FYI if you don't like red bean, then the bottom portion contains whole ones. I prefer their strawberry shortcake over this one. Service/Ambiance: When you first walk in, it looks like just a take away cake place, but if you head to the back that's where all the tables/seating are. There was no line, so we were seated immediately, but it did get busier the longer we were there for. Service is friendly, but they aren't the most attentive, so we did have to flag them down at certain points. This is a great place for groups though, and it's fun to get different teas and desserts to sample everything. Overall: Solid neighborhood place for tea time!

Came by for lunch and was able to be seated immediately. The seating area in the back is peaceful and quiet. I got the lunch special seafood salad with the signature marron cake. The salad was a bit disappointing, nothing social other than the toast that came with it - very nice and fluffy! The cake was very good and the fruits tasted fresh. I wouldn't be back for the food but would definitely come back for the cake. Bathrooms 6/10 clean but very small and cramped

I heard incredible things about this dessert place so I was excited to finally give it a try. The crepe cake was lightly sweet and had fresh fruit - it was good but nothing special. The king chocolate cake was also ok but I was not a big fan of the texture. We also had an iced coffee with our two cakes and overall, it was quite pricy for the taste. This place had a nice atmosphere but the cakes were average to me

Wow! Phenomenal cakes. They have sit down restaurants in the back. Pricy for the slice but well worth it. The bathrooms are wierd in the middle of the walkway

Ordered: Mille Crepes slice (~$13): six layers of thin crepes filled with fresh fruits and mixed cream Banana Cream Pie slice (~$10): pie packed with fresh bananas and custard Fruit Cocktail Herb Tea (~$9): non-caffeinated herb tea made with six kinds of dried fruits and herbs (hibiscus, rose hip, apple, orange peel, lemon peel, and elderberry) Aya's take: One of the best desserts I've had in NYC in a long time! First of all, I had no idea this place was Japanese! They offers amazing baked items that will definitely impress whoever you come here with. The Mille Crepes slice is amazing. The thinly layer strawberries, bananas, kiwis, and cream. Every bite is phenomenal. The Banana Cream Pie slice was cold, creamy, and the pie crust was unbelievably thin. It's messier and not as nice presentation-wise, but it will not disappoint when it comes to taste. The Fruit Cocktail Herb Tea came in a cute clear tea pot and had subtle fruity flavors. It wasn't overwhelming at all and was nice to sip on in between bites of these delicious desserts. HARBS is a MUST TRY!

Famous cake place from Japan! I tried this a couple years ago when I visited Japan. I forgot about it until my friend took me here in NYC. The cake is quite delicious but I don't understand the hype. It is quite overpriced for a slice of cake. I like how the cake slices are not overly sweet as usual with Asian desserts.

I went on a Saturday afternoon and luckily there was no line. We were able to be seated immediately. However the waiters were busy and so weren't very attentive. It was hard to flag one down to order, and even to grab the check. We ordered two cakes. The Pear Mille-feuille cake is markedly different from any other cakes I've tried. It has a doughy texture and subtle pear flavor. Definitely worth tasting! The Berry berry cake was average and tasted just as expected. The high price tag of $15 wasn't justified and I would have chosen something else instead.

Great lunch special that I highly recommend. Went with friends n tried the salads and the cakes of the day. They never disappoint!!

Came back again for the lunch special, which I highly recommend. The seafood salad and all the sandwiches are delicious!

I've been hearing many people hype this place up, so maybe I came in with too many expectations. There's an area in the back to sit down if you choose. They have a variety of cake options in front (about $15 per slice) and the flavors rotate every so often. My brother had a matcha cake a month ago and I tried the sakura recently. It is the classic light sponge with cream filling that is not too dense. I thought the sakura slice was trying to do too much - the red bean at the bottom was dense and clashed with the light flavors. The flower petal on top encased in the jelly was very pretty but didn't taste good and I didn't care for the texture. Overall, an expensive experience for a mediocre slice.

I found this place on yelp and I gotta say this place is tasty dessert spot if you like cakes. I would say it's a smaller hybrid version of Martha's Country Bakery and Laduree. They have plenty of seating inside. My friend and I ordered the green tea mousse and chocolate cake. The cake slice portions like Martha's Country bakery. Huge, but lighter and tastier. I want to come back and try the Queen of Cake and banana cream since they didn't have any left. By the way, they have free coffee refills. The only caveat is in order to get a refill they have to brew fresh coffee from start. I was surprised. It'll take them longer, but you are guaranted some fresh coffee. The black coffee complimented the cakes. Delicious! I will be back in the near future!

As a fan of these Japanese-French inspired dessert shops, I couldn't have been more happy to discover this place and try it out. Their layered mille crepe style cakes are one of my personal favorites even though I'm not a huge cake person. I had their Fresh Fruits Mille Crepes and Chocolate Cake. The Fresh Fruits Mille Crepes cake is a layered masterpiece. It's filled with thin layers of crepes, with fruits kiwi, strawberry, banana, and I think a bit of melon. The blend of the fruits, crepes, and soft cream really make each bite a delightful experience. If you have to choose between getting the Fresh Fruits Cake and the Chocolate Cake, definitely go with the Fresh Fruits one. They also offer a variety of teas. I really wanted to try the Royal Milk Tea but they happened to be all out that day. Instead, the waitress recommended getting Assam tea and blend that with milk on the side, which tastes most similar to Royal Milk Tea. I chose that alternative but still looking forward to trying the Milk Tea next time I visit. If you dine in like I did, you can have slices of their cake, but it seems like you can also buy a whole cake if you wanted to. They have a display of their cakes once you enter the shop with prices for the entire cake.

Harbs is one of my two favorite cake shops in the city! Love that I can always just grab a slice of cake. I've tried most of their cakes now and the fruit mille crepe cake is probably my favorite. The fruits they use in that and in the classic strawberry cake are always so fresh. I usually don't like cream, but the one at harbs is light and I'll gladly eat that any day. The slices are pretty big as well, so it's definitely worth it. The chocolate cake though, I'd say, is a bit on the sweeter end. Their whole cakes are also great for birthdays/celebrations! I got one with my friends a few years ago for our birthdays and everyone loved it. One thing to note though - when you come with a group, everyone needs to order something. Usually not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind.

I came here around 4-5PM and some of the cake flavors were already sold out including their signature mille crepe. However, I enjoyed the green tea mousse and strawberry cake, which were light, fluffy, and not too sweet. If you are planning to dine in, keep in mind that you have to order a slice per person. Everything about HARBS is aesthetically pleasing; the display menu, cake decorations, even the interior designs! I'd like to come back again to taste different cake flavors or try their lunch special.

Opt for their Cream Cheese Mille Crepe cause they ran out of their signature Fruits Mille Crepe not my fav piece due to the overpowering flavor of cream cheese. Solid tiramisu & banana cream pie P.s: They required you to order the amount of your party size but since we went there around their closing time so they basically ran out most of it which is a bit unfair based on that policy

I was looking for a Japanese cafe where I could sit down and get some sandwiches or salad for lunch or maybe some teas & even cakes. I had to say that this place wasn't so bad - food wise. Although, they didn't have the avocado & shrimp salad so I went with my 2nd choice, Bacon & Parmigiano salad which was a huge portion FYI. I deducted one star not because of the food but because the service took forever, even when we were ready to pay and had to wave our card and try to make eye contact with our waitress. One last thing that may have prevented from coming back anytime soon is that it was super loud and noisy! I guess not the cafe's fault but it was like mid-day and we couldn't even have a decent conversation because it was super loud.

Service is way too slow. There was one person at the counter and packing the cakes when there were about 10 customers waiting in line. We were here to pick up one slice of cake and were here for about 15 minutes. Love the cakes, just a bit disappointed at the service this time around.

HARBS you have my heart!!! This place has some of the BEST cake. We tried their strawberry cake, Mille cake (the one with the fruits inside), and the berry cake. My favorite is their strawberry cake. Their cakes are so moist and fluffy. The cream is perfectly sweet. The most perfect dessert! For the Mille crepe, I would stick to lady m because I'm not a fan of bananas. The berry cake was good, but nothing too special to me. At about $9-10 per slice, it's not cheap, but soooo worth it in my opinion. Now please open a store in LA!!! *__*

We stopped by thanksgiving day in the late afternoon shocked that it was still open. Inside was lovely and they only allow seating in the back if you decide to dine in (i.e no ordering to go and sitting in the back). There was a sign that said each person had to order their own cake if dining in which was crazy because each cake is a pretty penny. All the staff were very kind and the cakes were very good. Only giving this place a 3.5/5 because even though the cakes were delicious, I don't think they were worth the $15+ and the coffee we got was unfortunately over-steeped and bitter. Our favorite cake was the green tea mousse!

Came here on a weekday afternoon, grabbed a mille crepe cake. It's not a real crepe layer cake, as there were maybe five pieces of crepe in it along with a bunch of fruit. Was pretty pricey for $13 (including tax), wasn't very impressed by it.

We got a slice of the Mille crepes cake, which is filled with cream and fruit and was not overly sweet. A slice of this cost $13, and it does leave something to be desired. While the presentation was clean (even layers, colors of the fruits dispersed well), it is hard to say that this place was a stand-out with its most popular menu item, especially with the price tag attached.

Harbs is a Japanese cafe & patisserie that specializes in soft & fluffy cakes. The two I've tried -- Strawberry Cake & their famous Mille Crepe ($13 each) -- aren't too sweet & have good ratios of fruit to cream. The latter has six layers & various fruits but I especially like that there's banana in there. Looking forward to trying a slice of their Marron Cake; white sponge cake with chestnut & sweet potato cream sounds intriguing to me but I always end up ordering one of the two aforementioned slices. Seating area is just past the display case. I only come for their cakes, I'm never hungry enough for their heartier fare but there's sandwiches & pasta on the menu, along with a decent selection of teas & coffee. Staff is a mix of reserved & affable personalities.

5 Star Cakes + Pies. Unusual fillings like chestnut cream + multiple fine layered sort of fruit cakes. I've had many over the years. Tonight I had the banana cream pie for a change + it was good! One common thing I think is none of them are overly sweet at all at least to my taste. Slowly reducing my overall sugar intake biting into a super sweet dessert just feels awful + like my teeth will fall out! Anyway it's also a clean bright cafe where you can sit in the rear for teas + nibbles. Their website says it was born in Japan. The staff has always been great, the to go boxes + bags are almost over the top. Like you're buying a Hermes scarf not a piece of cake - but both beautiful. Only thing is pricing has really gone up - I'm willing to pay for this quality but you could be shelling out $16 for a slice!

was killin time & having an afternoon stroll, saw cakes on display and decided to pop in for a slice or two. there wasnt a host to greet, "just find a seat". decided on the banana pie & Sakura cake. Banana pie was pretty basic. The crust was perfect though. Not too doughy, buttery enough, & crunchy! Sakura cake, pleasant surprise. There's red beans on the bottom layer. The cake is jiggly, light and smooth. The cream is a delicate soft milky flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed and demolished it. It's like a jello but cream? If you prefer max level sweet, this isn't the place for you. It's the I like dessert but not sugar overkill.

I saw that they closed at 6 on a Thursday so I wanted to come in for a quick tea break before dinner. My friend and I sat down at 5:15 and the waiter told us that he had already turned off the hot water tap do we wouldn't be able to order any tea...even though it was 45 min till closing. He eventually came around and said "just for us" he would turn it back on... tbh cake was meh, tea was also meh but the bill was expensive.

Lovely cake and drinks! I love that this place has table service just to eat cake. And everybody needs to eat cake. I loved their mille crepe cake and i think its so much better than Lady M because of all the fruits inside of it. It makes the cake less egg-y and more refreshing and delicate. There are plenty of seating inside and i loved that it wasnt very crowded and maintained a relaxing ambiance. Their matcha latte is also good! If you are looking for desserts that aren't overly sweet, this is the place to go.

I called them to place an order for a few cakes to pick up, and the lady who picked up my call asked me right off the bat if I have my credit card ready. It was very rude and I paused, she again stated: "you need to have your credit card ready in order to place an order". I responded saying "ok, I just need to ask a few questions first...I don't actually know what the price of the cakes are since online there is only the price of the slices" FYI: cakes are 10x the price of 1 slice, therefore 1 cake = 10 slices. NO DISCOUNTS, normally you'd expect a full cake to be cheaper than the sum of its slices but not here. 3 cakes is the same as 1 cake x 10 slices x 3. Whoever did their pricing is super questionable, I don't know why you would want to pay $150 for a normal sized cake. Needless to say, I did not order from here, and will not be ordering from here. It's probably fine for a dine in experience where you get a slice of cake and some tea and spend some time there, but I know they also have a requirement where everyone in your party needs to order at least 1 slice of cake. Super stingy feeling type place if you ask me. Party of 4 but you only want 3 slices of cake? Sorry, you'll have to take it to go. Thanks, Harbs.

COVID update: takeout only as of 12/2020. Harbs has been on my radar for a while and I finally visited. It's a more lowkey spot than Lady M (and there was no line when I visited in late December). Pricey but worth it. The Mille crepes slice was incredible. I also got a Marron (chestnut) cake slice, which was really good - the chestnut flavor was maybe more subtle than I would have liked, but the cake was super spongey and light and there were chunks of chestnut. The employee who helped me was super nice. Only letdown - no Sakura at the moment but I'd love to try it if it ever returns.

The cake slices for HARBS is huge! Tbh, the cakes tasted alright. I ordered the fruit crepe cake and my friend ordered the banana pie. As a sweet tooth, I thought her banana pie was WAY too sweet. I wasn't a big fan of it. My friends always hype up HARBS, so I think maybe I just didn't order the right cake or maybe I came in at an off day. Hoping to give this place another try!

A lovely little dessert and tea room! Came here on a Sunday evening and there was plenty of seating available in the back. My friend and I ordered the Queen of Cake, which was delicious! I'm usually not a huge fan of cake but the cream was nice and airy and wasn't overly sweet. Paired with the Darjeeling Tea and this was a wonderful dining experience. Will most definitely be back!

This place has a lot of hype so we were excited to come try it out but honestly it's pretty overrated. We got the cream cheese mille crepe and the strawberry cake. For $10-$11 dollars, I thought it'd taste better. I wish it would be sweeter but it just tastes like fattening cream. The teas are also super overpriced. Doesn't make sense to me to pay $8 for a basic black tea and pot of hot water. It's a cute cafe but I would not come back here again.

Had an amazing lunch experience here on Saturday. Staff was attentive and the place was spacious and not overcrowded or loud. On Fridays-Sundays 12-3 they have a lunch special for $25 that includes a sandwich, salad, and cake of the day. This comes with endless coffee or English Breakfast tea. I opted for the tea and was more than satisfied. The ratatouille chicken sandwich was massive and consisted mainly of chicken in a veggie sauce. The bread was light and delectable. The mocha cake was a smaller than typical slice, but this was fine given how much food came with the lunch special. It was enough to split with a friend. The mocha cake was delicate and creamy. It was filled with mocha jellies that balanced the cake. While seated 10 fresh mille crepe cakes came out. I will be sure to try that next time. This is a perfect place to stop if you are going to a play at The Atlantic Theatre Company.

My and my mother went to Harbs because I've heard great things about this place from tiktok and from friends. So far seeing the building itself was amazing! The doors are so huge that it felt like we were walking into a huge bakery. We first got the White peach cheesecake and overall grabbing a piece of the cake I didn't think the cake was spongey! I thought it would be thick but it's super light. The peach is really sweet and the cake itself is compliments the white peach. It's not overly sweet which is a surprise! The peach adds to the sweetness of the cake Then the Strawberry Mille itself is sour which isn't a bad thing because the cream and the bread itself helps the combination of the sour strawberry and the sweet cream and bread. The service itself wasn't all that good because we sat there for a while and the waitress was helping and rushing trying to get all the tables. I wouldn't blame them on the service skills but because they didn't have enough staff for the amount of people that came in. I would say mostly to hire more people specifically for serving. Beware that the prices are one the higher side though

Service was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cakes are so fresh and not overly sweet or heavy and pair so well with the teas. This place makes you slow down and indulge in the moment

The earl grey is fruity with an earthy aroma. I asked for a light dessert and the server recommended the lemon cheesecake. It was good, with the right amount of sweetness and sourness. The ambiance is cozy with relaxing music. The refillable tea makes it a good destination to spend the afternoon just sitting here and read. If you like the less sweet Asian cakes, Harbs is for you.

Is their cake tasty? Yes. Is their cake very pricey? Sure, it's a bit exorbitant for a slice. And is their customer service beyond annoying if you choose to dine in? Oh my goodness yes and I will never eat inside again! At some point or other, I've tried every single one of their cakes. Usually I do take out because I'm headed to a friends or just want to grab and go. As any Asian will tell you, the best measurement to determine if a dessert is good--if it's not too sweet! And Harbs fits the bill and is indeed not too sweet. When ordering cake to go, the person serving you is also usually very good about stacking the cakes so they don't fall over and providing you with ice packs, which is nice. Dining in, on the other hand, left a bad taste in my mouth. They have rules about everything. While you're allowed to share cake, each person has to order a separate cake slice. You cannot share tea (even though it's a sizable tea caddy!) and they cannot bring out a second glass for you--which I would understand if I hadn't also ordered a beverage, but my friend and I each ordered different drinks! I had a coffee and she ordered tea and offered me a glass when I had finished my coffee and they wouldn't even bring me an extra cup then, which just seems needlessly controlling. An otherwise usually nice experience is really made quite annoying when dining in and being micromanaged. I will keep my visits to go and may just consider ordering not too sweet cake from one of the other Japanese bakeries around.

The cakes are pricey but also very delicious. Come here if you like cakes that are light, not too sweet, and very delectable. Each slice is quite expensive. I highly recommend the strawberry slice which is $11 and the lemon slice which is $9.

Years ago I wrote a review for their UES location professing my love for their light and refreshing cakes that really spoke to my Asian taste palates, and was sad to find that it had closed. Fortunately, the WV location is still going strong and the cakes are just as good as before. We got the lunch special, which consisted of a sandwich/salad, a *small* - not the regular size - slice of the cake of the day, and coffee/tea. I got the Croque-monsieur with the Irish cream cheesecake. The Croque-monsieur was in fact two sandwiches, so twice the portion I was expecting. It was pretty standard, though not saying that it wasn't good. The Irish cream cheesecake definitely tasted of Irish whiskey and has a dense texture. We also shared an additional slice of the mango mousse cake, which was really good. It was light and (very) jiggly, with fresh diced mango embedded in the middle of the cake - highly, highly recommend! Came here Sunday noon and the place was more than half empty. We just walked past the front counter and seated ourselves in the back. The waiter brought us water and took our orders shortly after. Appreciated that they weren't busy so we weren't rushed at all. I'd be back for more cakes!

One of my favorite places to get a casual brunch. It's finally opened for indoor dining and the restaurant follows the strict guidelines. I felt very safe. My favorite is the omelette sandwich from the lunch special. It's such a good deal of bottomless coffee, a delicious sammie and a slice of cake for dessert. The coffee is spectacular and two cups is just enough to keep the jitters away. It's relatively close to the Chelsea galleries. It's a perfect location to walk around Chelsea & make a day around the area.

Dessert is AMAZING. Fruit crepe and strawberry chocolate is divine and not too sweet paired with tea. Perfect place to grab dessert!
