Being vegetarian in Vietnam isn’t the easiest, so it was great to experience the vegetarian cooking class and learn how to use the local flavours in meat free dishes. Y our chef and teacher was very informative and clear in his teaching and of course our creations were very tasty. I’ll definitely be cooking these dishes at home. The centre is a nice place to visit even without a cooking class, with tables in a courtyard for a drink or food.

Had an amazing time with the Hanoi Cooking Centre! We did the "Food From The Coast": learned a lot about the local culture through food. It was no street food, but a lot of heart and soul of the locals and their daily life. Understood the source of fresh produces and small local techniques of choosing a good bottle of fish sauce. High recommended even for those who don't know how to cook. Great service and experienced instructor!

Hung is very passionate about food and details in the preparation. He told me a lot about how the food is selected and how families prepare it in their home. He named substitutes i can use back in europe when i can't find the ingredients. He speaks a very good english and the class takes place in a very organised restaurant kitchen. The other staff are also very friendly. My opinion: the food alone is worth the price
