Hanna Mitri Ice Cream

Known for its fresh ice cream and perfect معمول, it is also famous for its unique personality... I went there after hearing about it, but at first I had a hard time finding it. When I asked a woman from the neighbourhood who happened to be passing by, she told me that it was almost right in front of me. There is no loud sign or anything like that, but good restaurants/shops often do not have fancy decorations and tend to be hidden away. I found the personality of the two young staff to be very friendly, not weird at all. The service is quite nice. The shop has remained unchanged since 1949, and the three children who learnt to make ice cream as children went on to open famous shops. The flavour of the ice cream is very real, even the textures of the strawberry fruit, the putachio... As an industrial chef, I'm not against products made in factories, but I have to admit that in the current situation, production can by no means catch up with this kind of flavour. Despite the result of their hard work, the prices were very reasonable, LBP 400,000 for three flavours with the classic and unique corn cup. # Beirut # Lebanon

This is a rare 5 star review from me! I cannot stress enough how lovely this place and the owners are!! Salem treats you as his granddaughter or grandson by welcoming you into his small little icecream shop in the heart of Achrafieh, and there magic happens. The icecream he has prepared looks so appetizing inside the fridges and even more succulent when he scoops them onto the waffle. I tried the achta flavor and i did not regret this decision!! the achta was super creamy and sweet, it has whole grains of pistachio inside it, and alot of them were added!! the cone is a little narrow as it is rectangular but this did not affect my experience badly! I would come back anytime and i am planning of tasting as many flavors as possible!!

I love this place! One of the best ice cream in Beirut ..a must try… the ice cream is so fresh and the texture is fluffy .. my fav is scoop is rose water but all the flavors taste great… price is normal & parking they have a spot in front of the shop… I recommend this place to every one 🍦when u try it u will understand why

This ice cream place is considered a landmark in Lebanon and is one of the oldest ice cream places in Beirut dating back to 1950s. It used to be located near mar mitr but has recently relocated to the Sayde street. Don't be surprised if you see customers lining up outside the store to get a taste of their traditional sorbet lebanese ice cream. Some flavors have chunks of raw material in them. A true delight to the taste buds. Highly recommended!

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious and unique, truly some of the best I've had. However, I was quite disappointed with the service. After finishing two large cups that cost $15, I asked for just one extra ball of chocolate ice cream. I was willing to pay for it, but the woman refused and insisted that I had to buy an entire cup again. This level of stinginess is not how we, as Lebanese, typically treat each other. A simple gesture of goodwill, like offering a small extra scoop, would have gone a long way. It's a shame because the quality of the ice cream is outstanding, but the customer service leaves much to be desired.
