I had taken a fall the day before and booked the massage the morning of my appointment to help with soreness in my neck, shoulder, and back. Nicole listened carefully to my needs and tailored the massage perfectly to relieve tension and pain in those areas. The face portion was especially phenomenal – it was soothing and relaxing beyond words. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and totally stress-free. Highly recommend Nicole for anyone looking to treat themselves to a truly exceptional massage!

Unreliable Service and Poor Customer Support I booked a massage at this spa due to shoulder pain and received email confirmation. However, just 40 minutes before my appointment, they canceled it while I was already on my way. Despite requiring an $80 deposit to guarantee the service, they failed to honor the appointment. The attendant claimed the appointment was not confirmed, yet the website allows scheduling and charges the deposit. What sense does that make? This experience demonstrates their lack of reliability and poor customer support.

Ash gave me the best massage I've ever experienced (and I'm a masseuse)! My partner and I got a couple's massage in the A-frame hut by the ocean waves, and it was so relaxing and special. Ash had perfect pressure with deep tissue massage and was gentle and careful where I needed it. She's sweet and sensitive to clients' needs, and she has warm, welcoming energy. I drifted in and out of sleep while she worked on me for 80 minutes with coconut oil in super soft, comfortable sheets. I suggest going on a warm day; the wind was quite chilly today, but everything about the massage was perfect, and I highly recommend it!

The massage was ok. I understand the space is unique and small, but in the middle of my massage I could hear people talking outside the door. Being forced to listen to 2 women talking and laughing for 15 mins was not very relaxing. Also, the massuse was very eager to shove the tip chart in my face the second I got dressed. It was an ok massage, almost $180, I didn't see why a tip was so heavilty demanded. Somewhat dampered by my experiences here.

Saw the sign for this place when I was out for dinner a few days ago. I liked their location so I called to get massages for three people. A deposit was required on booking. The actual spa is small but intimate. They took all three of us in at once and they were on time. Nicole was my therapist and I thought I had hit pay dirt. I said I was very tight in my neck and shoulders and she proceeded to give me a firm but none painful massage. She took care of most of my issues while I was face down. When I was on my back she started to work on my face and jaw which further relaxed my neck. One of the best massages I have ever had. Turns out my two friends were singing praises about there massages. So I guess there whole staff is talented. I get massages on a regular basis. When I go to someone who has never seen me before I am usually disappointed. That was NOT the case at Hanalei Bay. I was the center of focus the entire time I was there. I could tell Nicole was focused on my needs throughout the session If you are near Princeville and wanwant a massage you should check these guys out.

We got a couples massage here and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were very kind and attentive. This was my first ever massage and I really enjoyed it all and walked out feeling very refreshed and happy!

Booked a couple's massage and paid a $160 deposit, which was confirmed/processed successfully. I did this through the website which showed at least 6 available time slots. The employee then texts that they're canceling my appointment because they had just taken a bunch of appointments over the phone and they're fully booked for the day. Not sure why an appointment over the phone takes precedence over one that was fully processed already online. Seems like this company is super unprofessional for (1) canceling appointments that are already confirmed with fully paid deposits and/or (2) conducting business so incompetently where the website doesn't reflect accurate availability. Even now as I'm writing this review, the website is still showing false availability. Avoid this business at all costs and go somewhere more professional.

Kim was so gentle and in tune with the pressure needs of my body! She has a definite healing touch! I'm so thankful for both She and Avery's blessed healing massage celebrating my Sis's Birthday She's not one for massages but she thoroughly enjoyed Avery's gentleness. Mahalo nui and Blessings.

O-M-G!!!! Finding this place was such a divine blessing!! I wanted to purchase a massage for my mom's birthday, and treat my daughter and nephew to their very first massages ever while on vacation in Kauai. The business was closed for about a month and they were reopening Dec 20th, on my mom's birthday. Their website said I could text the number, so I gave it a shot literally 3 days before they were scheduled to reopen. I wasn't sure if I'd hear back before the 20th, or even if they'd be able to take all 4 of us. I received a response via text from Maria the very next day!! And she confirmed she & the other masseuse could take all of us!! I get massages back home in Chicago monthly, and I have had some great massages. But these ladies were truly NEXT LEVEL!! My mom and I got the Lomi Lomi massages- do yourself that favor!!! I've never experienced the ways in which my masseuse got inside of my pain point in my back and completely resolved it! (I had pulled a muscle or something in my back during travel). The stretching, and hot towels and essential oils- amazing! My daughter got the hot stone massage and loved it!!! My nephew got a Swedish massage and he was super relaxed afterwards and loved it also!! We all slept like babies that night!!! Please do yourself the favor and pay these ladies a visit. And they are too kind to say this, but if you're going to go experience their amazing talents - don't be a-holes!!! There were some really rude tourists who barged in while we were checking out, didn't put their masks on (their studio is small and intimate and they work hard to keep themselves safe and keep the guests safe!) and then stood in the doorway the entire time!! Please be kind. Don't be rude buttholes when you are coming to receive healing massages from these incredibly talented healers!!! We loved them!!

My boyfriend Ben & I went to Hanalei Bay massage today. The owner Maria was super sweet when I called. She had 2 spots left & we grabbed it! So happy we did. Grateful in fact as We both had an incredible experiences. My massage therapist was Robin. Kind and gifted. Though it was a massage I literally felt like a slow dance was taking place. Great back, neck, foot & stretching work. It's hard for me to relax but not with Robin. Thank you so very much! And Bens neck has been driving crazy during our travels and maria was also gifted and he felt like a new person after. So big shout out and thank you to you both . Booked an 80 min deep tissue with Maria for my mom. My mom had nothing but amazing things to say afterward. She said that not only was the massage incredibly relaxing but that the aesthetic and Maria's use of fragrances only added to the experience. The massage was very easy to book via email as Maria is very communicative. Will definitely book a service here again when we return to Kauai!

I just had my first massage from Maria and it was absolutely incredible. I have a (somewhat heavy) 1 year old who I spend much of the day carrying around on my hip, so I have issues with posture and upper back pain. Maria spent an hour realigning me and working out every knot and crick from head to toe, and I left feeling completely renewed. The ambience is relaxing and extremely comfortable, and the hot towel head wrap at the end was a such a treat. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I've already booked my next one.

I was there for a few days for vacation and this spot did the job. I did the hot stone massage and I have to say this was one of best experience getting a massage. Maria applied perfect pressure but not to a point where it would hurt. She also hit all the perfect spots. Thank you Maria for the great experience!

Went today for a massage and was lucky to have Maria. You can tell from how she works with your body that she is very experienced and knows what to do and how to do it. She is truly there with you and your body, not off in her own mind space somewhere else. If you are thinking of doing it, do it! I cant imagine not coming again next time I visit.

Literally cannot say enough great things about this place! First visited 2 years ago while very pregnant for a prenatal massage which was AMAZING- finally got to lay on my belly again for the first time in months with the help of the pregnancy support pillows. Returned again today for a regular Swedish massage and somehow it was even better. The attention to detail and focus on my most tense areas was outstanding. I wish I lived here so I could visit more often! Mahalo!!

You may have to book before you arrive in Hanalei to ensure you can get in and you'll be glad you did. A small facility without the big resort bells and whistles but trust me, totally worth it.

Mom/daughter massage-exquisite, professional, and much needed. Easy appointment after calling. Located in the heart of Hanalei, Hanalei Bay Massage offers a three room storefront. Parking is available at the center, it's tight so plan to arrive early!

They accommodated my walk-in without prior notice, which is really exceptional. Not only did Kim skip her lunch, she was courteous, thorough and professional. The massage was phenomenal. Cannot say enough good things about this gem.

The 5 stars definitely goes to the two therapists we had during our couples massage. Such a treat during our honeymoon. The pricing was MUCH more affordable than what the St. Regis was offering (literally half). I think we probably got better massages too. We had scheduled it for a rainy day but we're rescheduled due to construction next door. Really glad they called and asked that would have been a mood killer. We had some confusion around the reschedule though, we had her on speakerphone when she called and both heard 11:15, but when we reached out as we were sitting in the waiting room with the sign that said "in session" we got a text back saying our reservation was actually at 1:45, not 11:15. It wasn't a huge deal, we just killed time in the shops while we waited but that was really our only complaint!

First of all, I was able to get a same day appointment which was great! My massage therapist was Janessa and she did a fantastic job. After 12 hours of flying and an intense surf lesson I was particularly sore and tight, but she was able to work our all the kinks and knots with just the right amount of pressure and technique! I've had my fair share of massages and Janessa definitely knows what she is doing. Would book again if I were visiting longer.

I got a prenatal massage from Kim and it was the cherry on top of my vacation. I was so happy with the whole experience and it was nice to have a high quality massage. She used the perfect amount of pressure for what I needed, I had a lot of knots and soreness on my back and hip from sleeping on my side so much. Well worth it!!

We had a couples massage today. I had Maria. At first, I thought...this lady is too tiny to handle me. I like a really strong deep tissue massages. Little that I know, Maria was beyond what I expected! One of the best massages I've had in my lifetime! Been to many expensive and fancy places...we were just at the Ritz in Waikiki but the services I received here far exceeded all the other fancy places I've been at. Thanks Maria!! Keep it up!! We'll be back next month!

This was the best massage I've ever had! Kim and Maria are amazing. I got the Lomi Lomi massage. Kim did pressure point therapy on my hips and lower back, I felt like a new person after. And 5 days later I still do. Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I went here for a 60 minute couples massage. The atmosphere is relaxing and nice, as well as unpretentious. Both Sara and Kristen did an absolutely amazing job listening to our needs and making us comfortable. After it was done, we both agreed it was one of the best massages we ever had (and my wife gets a massage once a week back home). This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a good massage with good service.

Jenica was amazing! So friendly and she gave an incredible massage. I got the Lomi Lomi, which is to help sore muscles and I had previously hiked roughly five miles the day before. I suffer from uneven hips, a crooked spine and my neck has almost no curve to it. I also have carpal tunnel and knees of an 80 year. She treated my body with care and helped me target my (several) problem areas, as well as giving me tips to help with these issues going forward. 10 out of 10 service and quality. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have gotten 3 massages at Hanalei Bay Massage and they all have been wonderful. The first time I called I left a message and they called back the same day and booked me an appt. The other two times they answered and I was able to book an appt the next day. When I got there they were set up and hand calming music. They used essential oils that were really nice. Overall a great experience each time!

Great couples massage from Kim and Nicole after a long hike the day before. We booked same day and arrived a little early to park (in the adjacent lot) and fill out brief questionnaires. Great pressure for deep tissue and very relaxing. Hot towel to top it off. Close to all the great restaurants and shops in Hanalei.

I had a 90 minute combo massage with deep tissue and Lomilomi style. It was amazing. She worked on all my problem areas and I felt so loose after. Wonderful massage. Wish I had time to go back again this trip.

I had a 90 minute massage and I can honestly say this was on of the best massages I've ever had. Mia was wonderful....listened carefully to my particular issues and really made a huge difference. My neck and shoulders were so tight....I never expect to be healed by massage, just maybe loosened up a bit. After this massage, I almost felt like I had a chiropractic adjustment.....so much more mobility and so much less tension! I'm planning to get another massage before I head home - it really was that great!

Amazed at the skill of the therapist Kim. She was fantastic, had amazing pressure, style, and checked in on me several times to make sure the pressure was okay for me. She decompressed my sacrum which helped relieve an old injury in my low back, and spent a lot of time and care in my upper back too. I feel so much more mobile in my shoulders. As a fellow Massage Therapist on the mainland, I would highly recommend this space for your sessions on the island. The space itself is quaint and inviting, and they were able to get me in same day. Beyond impressed and worth every penny.

I wish I could give my 90 minute combo massage six stars. I have some injuries and use an excellent massage therapist back home when needed. I've been disappointed with mediocre massage at high priced resort spas in the past so don't usually book one when on vacation... Maria fit me in even though I was initially indecisive in my scheduling, and my massage with Sonya was fabulous. She is quiet, calm, talks just enough to check in about pressure / injuries / areas that need working on, very strong, responsive, professional, and a natural healer. While not a fancy resort-type spa, the clean, quiet, well-equipped treatment area upstairs in Hanalei Center was convenient and comfortable. Thank you Maria and Sonya!

I booked a deep tissue at 10:30 and waited till almost 11am to start. the deep tissue wasn't that deep at all....then found out it wasn't a deep tissue...the lady told me because my body didn't need it..however, if i want to pay more for the deep tissue price, its okay. all I tries to say is they don't feel sorry at all to delay your appointment for almost helf hour (doesn't care if you have other schedule aftet it) nor gave you wrong massage....very disappointed!! to spend that money, I rather do it in my hotel with better service nd attitude!!

I strongly recommend. My wife and I got canceled at the last minute by another spa and happened to walk by Hanalei Bay (it's right near the St. Regis). We called the cell number on the door and they were able to schedule a couples massage for later that day. The staff was very nice and we left feeling great. The studio is also right near a lot of food options, so it was nice to relax and then have a nice/healthy meal.
