Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara

Going to Gurudwara sahib always complete my trip to any part of the world but this visit was special as it was Diwali day. Sikh temple , Hindu temple and Christ church are all on the same cul-de-suc area. Temple has big worship halls, meditation room to do path, langar hall, events hall and clean bathrooms. Yummy langar was being served so I even enjoyed that.

What an incredibly serene and spiritually uplifting experience. The atmosphere is profoundly peaceful, radiating a deep sense of tranquility. As with all Sikh temples this Gurudwara is open and welcoming to people of all faiths and walks of life. The respectful and graceful entry leads you to the prayer hall, where you can offer prayers in a calm and sacred environment. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, intricately designed, and meticulously maintained, enhancing the overall sense of peace. One of the most beautiful aspects is the opportunity for everyone to partake in langar in the dining area, a meal that embodies the spirit of community and equality. The only request is to honor the food and not waste it. The clear ethos of inclusivity and unity offers a rare chance to connect with people from different faiths and backgrounds in a place of worship. With easy access for all, this Gurudwara truly reflects the purity and profound essence of the Sikh faith and its dedication and sacrifices to humanity.

What a beautiful, spiritually uplifting experience. Extremely peaceful and a feeling of serenity. Welcoming to all faiths and types. Slow and respectful entry with the ability to carefully enter the prayer hall and offer prayers. Beautiful surroundings, intricately designed and maintained. The ability for all to have langar in the dining area with the only requirement not to waste any food. A lovely ethos and opportunity to mix with those of different faiths. The Gurudwara is easily accessible, adjacent to the Hindu Temple and opposite a church.

The Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara in Dubai holds significant importance for the Sikh community in the UAE and globally. It hosts langar (free community meals), a core Sikh tradition, open to everyone. Very peaceful and calm environment.

It was my first time visiting the Guru Nanak darbar, honestly it looked shiny in the evening and stunning at the same time from outside, although I have never been to any Gurudwara before, but trust me guys, I really liked the atmosphere inside, the hospitality and equality for everyone just left a remarkable impression in my heart, there is lot more to say but in short I would love to say that , just visit this place, if don't want to loose precious moment...

Everyone must visit, amazing architecture work, I'm impressed.

February 2024 4* This is my second visit to gurudwara. I wanted to visit Gurudwara to sit and listen Gurbani. On Saturday, there is no Kirtan in Gurudwara sahib. Little surprising. Further there was marriage function in main hall so other people were stoped in the back. Again this is not acceptable. Langar hall serve langer only from 12 to 3 pm. So there is no langer if you come early or late. Personally I felt that the guru ghar is not managed with the spirit of Sewa. Security guard dressed and behave like security guard not sewadar. So no politeness or Sewa spirit. I wish that is should not run with commercial way. December 2023 5* Visited the holy place in Dubai. This Gurudwara is really divine. When I reached, the granthi ki was doing Rehras Sahib. We attended ardas and sought guru’s blessing. Photography is not allowed inside the gurudwara so I seek forgiveness. There is shoe rack inside the building and langer hall. Sadly I could not eat langer but it was guru’s blessing. The gurudwara is so nicely designed. I would say that you get so much positive energy and feelings. The parking space is limited and the gurudwara is located next to Temple.

A must visit for all Darbar is open for all, as humans are bought to this life to serve one another . Darbar stresses on this aspect of service which makes us feel really at home , Thursday’s are special , ample parking space with huge sitting and prayer hall ..makes it a true and must visit
