Miradouro do Guindaste

A very nice viewpoint with a few parking spaces available. We arrived early in the morning and had no trouble finding a spot. There are also public toilets on-site. The views from the cliff are stunning, and during our visit, we even saw two rainbows. A short stop, but definitely worth visiting.

A truly impressive viewpoint in Madeira that stands out from many other Miradouros. The two glass platforms extending over the cliffs make this spot unique. Looking down through the glass floor provides a thrilling experience and adds an exciting touch to the visit. The view of the Atlantic, the cliffs, and the sea is breathtaking, offering perfect photo opportunities. Tip: It is definitely worth bringing a camera to capture the moments. A wind jacket is also recommended, as it can get quite breezy. Conveniently, there are restrooms on site, which makes the visit even more comfortable. An absolutely worthwhile stop!

Very scenic area. Great place to watch the waves crashing. There is a see through platform you can walk on to make it a very immersive viewing area. There also restrooms.

Nice viewpoint with skywalk. It’s for free and not crowded like Cabo Girão. There are enough Parkin places, a toilet and drinking water next to it.

Beautiful views, but do not waste time trying to get your picture on the glass viewpoint, there are far better views to the right looking at the cliffs!

Cool viewpoint. There are two balconies with glass floors where you can take beautiful photos.

The observation deck here is not for the faint of heart!! It's a very sturdily built structure of steel and thick glass that hangs out over the cliff edge a few hundred meters above the sea below. Very cool!! Take a few extra minutes to explore the cliff edge trails, the views of the coastline are stunning 😎
