Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills is where fashion meets fine dining, delivering artfully crafted Italian dishes in a chic, sophisticated atmosphere.
"It doesn’t get much fancier than New Year’s Eve at Massimo Bottura’s Gucci Osteria on the rooftop of Rodeo Drive’s Gucci boutique. The renowned restaurant will serve a set menu priced at $325 per person with dishes like caviar and cured scallops, truffle risotto, and an Angus beef filet. A wine pairing is available at an additional cost. Book a table via Resy." - Rebecca Roland
"Perched on the third floor of the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Gucci Osteria opened in 2020 and is one of four Gucci Osterias that chef Massimo Bottura (who owns and operates three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy) opened inside select Gucci stores around the world. Behind Beverly Hills’s stoves are chef Mattia Agazzi, sous chef Vanessa Chiu, and pastry chef Tamara Rigo. (All three worked at Gucci Osteria in Florence before relocating to Los Angeles.) Together, with oversight from Massimo Bottura, the trio dreamed up a California-inflected Italian fine dining experience that’s playful and precise — a unique balance of creativity and technique befitting of its swanky environs. While lunchtime features an a la carte menu, dinner is a prix fixe affair with two different menus to choose from starting at $195. Reservations are available on Resy." - Matthew Kang, Eater Staff
"There’s a lot of panettone out there, but for a truly luxurious holiday treat, there’s no better bet than Gucci Osteria’s panettone. Opt for the traditional with raisins and candied orange peels dotted throughout, or try the special panettone which adds in candied pears and chocolate. Both options come in an exclusive decorative tin with a touch of that Italian-born Gucci flair." - Matthew Kang
"A few things you’ll need before lunch at Gucci Osteria: a corporate card, “smart casual dress attire,” and an emerald pinky ring to show off as you sip a Gucci-branded espresso. The gaudy Italian rooftop would be the ideal choice to woo an out-of-town client because it makes LA look like a movie. Lunch comes with palm tree-lined views Rodeo Drive, fantastic service, and nice food that appears more interesting than it tastes. You’ll eat panko-crusted cod “milanese” hiding a bold punch of ginger and an abstract art-like risotto “camouflaged as a pizza” and hopefully walk away with a deal after three glasses of prosecco." - sylvio martins, brant cox
"This breezy Italian rooftop restaurant in Beverly Hills is as expensive and gaudily branded as the luxury brand that owns it, but still has redeeming qualities as an over-the-top lunch spot. The palm tree-lined views of Rodeo Drive make LA look like a movie, the service is fantastic, and some dishes are quite nice, such as the panko-crusted cod “milanese” hiding a bold punch of ginger and the risotto “camouflaged as a pizza” that looks like abstract art. Expect to swipe that company card because you’re not getting out of here without spending at least $300 for two." - jess basser sanders, brant cox, sylvio martins, garrett snyder
