Fascinating ! Easy to find, easy to walk and the variety of items is extensive and delightful. All vendors we're happy to chat and explain the item if needed. Several eating places around when you get hungry! Well worth a visit.

Prices are a bit inflated but overall a good experience

Not what it used to be, but not bad at all. You can find a lot of goodies. Just beware of fakes!

This Sunday market has become the highlight of my visits to Guadalajara. The quality of the merchandise is quite good, with worthwhile contemporary art, mixed in with religious and secular antiques. Be sure to stop by the Trocadero antique store (just across the street from the market) to see a shop full of quality antiques (Mexican and European) at fair prices. Suggest arriving after 9:00 am since that's when most dealers are just beginning to set up. If you mention "trocadero" to taxi drivers they'll get you there (somewhat difficult to find on your own). I've never experienced any safety concerns at the market.

Wide variety of every antique under the sun including lamps, watches, clothes, jewelry, WWII and WWI memorabilia, books, you name it! Great place to practice haggling in Spanish. Also has snacks (freshly made, not antique!) and someone was selling these tiny fluffy puppies when I went.

If you love antiques and chatting with others that also do this is the right place while in Guadalajara. I am not sure but I believe they only set up on Sunday.

The Tianguis is a great place for shopping or just taking a stroll. Wide variety of used and new items such as home decor, furniture, souvenirs, etc.
