Grotto Tea Lounge (formerly Green Grotto Tea Room)

Dropped by with some homies, and tried out their sausage with minced pork & egg dish. Filled with flavor and very filling, I paired it with iced coconut milk tea, we also had their salt and pepper chicken, and Three cup boneless chicken dishes.

What a great surprise spot. A few friends took me here for an after meal dessert and wow was my initial reaction. Great vibe, delicious options. Love the variations. First time seeing a taro espresso affogoto, so I had to get it! Asked for the icream on the side. Everything was delish. The service was spot on. They accommodated my request and also gave me a to go cup when leaving as I wanted to share some of my drink with my wife. The 5 spice chicken nuggets were spot on. Now I know where to get it locally when I have a craving for them! I will definitely be back to try the food and other drinks/desserts. We also loved the couches in the middle of the place. Super cozy. Just the couches reminded us of Central Perk from Friends. Lol. Also really great interior design and vibe. I'll definitely be back a bunch of times.

We visited Grotto Tea Lounge today for afternoon tea and dinner. Overall, the food was decent—nothing particularly remarkable but definitely above average. The service, however, was excellent, with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. That said, there was one aspect that felt a bit disappointing. When we were paying at the counter, we noticed a small sign that mentioned a promotion: if you purchase a $25 gift card, you get a free drink. As customers, we couldn’t help but feel that it would have been much more thoughtful if the staff had informed us about the promotion earlier. If they had, it would’ve felt like a delightful bonus or even like “winning a prize.” Instead, discovering the promotion ourselves left us with the feeling of, “Good thing I noticed this, or I would’ve missed out.” I believe it would be a significant improvement if the staff made a point to actively inform customers about ongoing promotions during checkout. Additionally, stating that you have discontinued the promotion to “prevent further misunderstanding” feels like avoiding accountability, rather than addressing the core issue: the need for better transparency and proactive customer service. A more customer-focused approach would be to acknowledge how the situation could have been handled better and outline steps to improve communication with patrons in the future. Love what they did to the place! The vibes are 10/10, and the staff is very friendly and gave us free popcorn while waiting for our food. The snacks, rice dishes, and drinks are delicious. We even won a free milk tea after paying our bill. We will definitely be back!

If you like everything to do with the word cosy - this is your café. Gentle music at a low volume, dim warm lights, corners, couches, and whole array of drinks and food to be cosy with. I loved the braised pork with rice it was soft and tasted homemade and absolutely delicious and also enjoyed a milk tea Boba with med sugar which was perfect. Would love to come back here and read a book or do some work sometime 🩷 Cosy 🥰 thank you

First Impressions were great! Drinks were all intriguing, I was so indecisive! The place is very vibey and aesthetic. Staff are very friendly and gave us complementary popcorn!
