Any thai restaurant is judged by the tom yum soup they serve .. their tom yum soup was nothing like it should have been. I ordered chicken tom yum soup .. the chicken pcs were quite big and not shredded and was full of mushrooms.. no lemon grass or seaweed which is the whole essence of tomyum soup . It has a weird spice which makes your tumny burn. Did not order anything more as it didnt make any sense.

We ordered the Pad Thai and Crispy Ginger Beef and overall we were disappointed. The Pad Thai was lacking flavour and under seasoned, the Crispy Ginger Beef was very thin and you could barely taste any beef at all. The price was high for the quality we received (especially since you have to order the rice separate) and won’t be returning as there better options in Barrie.

Had a lovely meal at one of my fave Thai restaurants. Interior is nice, service was great she even treated us to a birthday dessert on the house. Kids loved the non-spicy pad thai and the pineapple rice served in a half pineapple!! Food was tasty and fresh! Definitely recommend :)

Really unhappy with our order tonight. Yes it's Superbowl Sunday but that wasn't a surprise. It took well over an hour for our Uber Eats order to be readied. The driver ended up having to wait there for 15-20 minutes. Once he got it, it was delivered quickly but it was mostly soggy and cold. And for the money we paid for this food, we alwere severely disappointed and I doubt we'll ever order from this place again. FYI, in the Uber Eats app, the Co Co Peanut Chicken doesn't mention the fact that this dish is smothered in mushrooms.

While the food was decent, we ordered 2 entrees thinking they would come with rice (as most do) when we got the meal it was just the meat and that COST US $45 That is absolutely insane. Will not be ordering here again and there are better spots for a decent price that come with rice included. $45 is an utter joke.

From pregnancy cravings to mother-daughter dates with my now-almost 18 year old girl, this spot hits the mark. The owners are SO incredibly friendly and sweet, and the food is absolutely delicious. Veggie Pad Thai is my go-to, but everything is delicious. We love to go for lunch to have the lunch tray. It's the perfect amount of everything for a great price. We rarely have room for dessert afterward, but on the off chance that we do, it's mango sticky rice all the way! Occasionally, this option isn't available due to seasonal restrictions, so our second choice is banana rolls. We usually share, and I also love to have a Vietnamese coffee with dessert. (Strong, drip coffee with sweetened condensed milk). The restaurant has lovely decor and is in the perfect location to hit while shopping, as it is surrounded by the super centre and other little shops across the way. No matter what you order, it's 10/10. Can't go wrong :)

i am absolutely surprised at how delicious everything was here! i ordered the pad thai and it was the perfect amount of spice ! the servings for the mains were fairly large although the appetizers were a bit smaller in portions! otherwise the staff was great and restaurant had great ambiance!

Nice small restaurant. Very friendly staff. Had a bit of a wait for orders to be taken. Wrong order received. Pad thai was not the best I've had, but the best in Simcoe County. There were no variety of colours in the dishes. Pad Thai was the same colour. Cashew chicken was all brown. Good size portions & medium priced. All-in-in ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 10 stars

Great food! I came to this restaurant with my mom, this past Saturday. We ordered: Coconut rice, wontons, ginger beef, and banana rolls for dessert. The ginger beef was really good, the coconut rice was good, and the banana rolls were good as well, really hit the spot! The wontons were just ok. The ginger beef was close, if not pretty much on-par to ginger beef you get out west (in Calgary) which was great, since it can be hard to find good ginger beef, especially around here. I will be back, hopefully sooner than later!

It was ok. I'd give it a true 2.5. It wasn't filling. It wasn't extra spicy like I asked and I got rice instead of rice noodles like I asked. Some elements were good, such as the multiple flavours. The cold/fresh roll didn't have the fresh feel to it. And sort of fell apart and the wrapping was overly sticky. Could have just been an off day.

Mid size Thai portions in south Barrie. Luncheon special offers a decent selection at a fair price. Only suggestion would be to include a soup with the special with a price adjustment. That little extra would make this establishment stand out from the rest. Still worthy of a return visit.

This place is so good!! Used to go here all the time on my way up to the cottage! Their pineapple or coconut rice is to die for!!! I'm not sure if they still do this but they used to have a rice inside of a coconut/pineapple. So so delicious I highly recommend !

For my friends bday I told him I'd take him where ever he wanted for lunch. He picked this place, he said it's soooo good and he goes here weekly. I didn't read any reviews as it's a fusion place and usually there mediocre. MAN WAS I WRONG! This place is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT EAT HERE, unless you like flavourless food My utensils were dirty I had to ask for a new set. I ordered the Thai Dumplings, it was way overpowered by peanut butter and the filling inside was so dry but it was ok I'd never order it again As my main I got the chow mien (I know it's a Thai place but chow mien is a fairly easy dish to make) First of all good portion and presentation. As soon as a moved the toppings away to see the noodle I was so disappointed it was SPAGHETTI noodles so gross. Was soggy. And was way to much sauce it was soupy ... usually chow mien I need extra sauce. Needless to say i tried it anyways. It lacked all flavour tried to doctor it with soy and hot sauce still bad I didn't finish what I bought, when they asked if I wanted it packed I said no. I will never be back to this place was absolutely gross, my friend said he's never had real Thai food from Toronto so maybe that's why he likes this place. But I went home and made a meal. What a waste of money

Saw signage saying it was best Thai food in Barrie and wanted some Pad Thai so I thought I would give it a try. The interior was very cozy and clean though not busy, but it was mid-day so it would not be fair to assume that they don't get much business. They offer take-out and sit down eat-in dining. The order was prepared relatively quick and came out in a neatly folded bag. The portion size was good for what I paid the taste however was bland and not very spicy even though I asked for spicy. For my first experience gere for presentation they were good, for portion size they met my expectations, but for taste of food they disappointed because they make the claim of best Thai food in Barrie where in my opinion they do not. Perhaps other dishes are better but I usually get Pad Thai so I could base an opinion.

First time here. Cashew chicken and dumplings very delicious. Fresh rolls and vermicelli not good. Fresh rolls were bland and cucumber were cut too thick. Vermicelli noodles were mushy.

First time here- food was pretty good- pineapple tofu and green veggie curry were awesome... fried coconut rice (which is my favourite thing) tasted like regular fried rice so that was a bit disappointing. Will be back.

They have such amazing soups and currys! Prices are good for the quality and quantity you're getting also. You really can't go wrong getting a bite to eat here.

Used to be our favourite place. Now it's super inconsistent. Just picked up a take out order of chicken pad Thai. It smelled like intense vinegar and the chicken tasted rotten. We will not be back

Best Thai restaurant I've been to in all of York Region and Simcoe County. I make drives from Bradford all the time just to come here. They have a great Cashew Chicken, Spice Pad Thai, and great Beef dishes. Everything on the menu is awesome, don't be afraid to try it!

Best pad thai ever. The mango salad is to die for and their shrimp rolls are just.... unnnfffff.... excellent price, meh (like prolly the snottiest) service, but their food makes it worth it, which is really sad to admit lol... cough... shrugs...

Worst Thai Glass Noodles I have ever had!! Firstly, the noodles were NOT Glass Noodles, they were vermicelli and overcooked. If I'd wanted mushy vermicelli I would have ordered the vermicelli dishes. The noodles also had no flavour and were coated in generic red Thai sauce; Traditional Glass Noodles are NOT RED. Overall terribly disappointed after claiming to be the best Thai in Barrie.

Above average Thai good in Barrie. Great ambience and the staff were pleasant and prompt. The prices were fair for the quality of food you get. I had the chicken pad Thai, while it wasn't my Absolute favorite, I enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the spicy cashew chicken and that was really good!we'll certainly be back to try more of the menu.

We saw all the great reviews and high rating, so we decided to give this place another try after not liking it 6 years ago. Well... It was absolutely horrible. The pad thai came out of the styrofoam package in a clump, was dry, and flavourless. The spring rolls were spit out after the first bite. . And to top it off, they were rude when we picked up our food AND forgot some of our order. Truly disappointed and obviously will not be back.

The food was good, fresh vegetables in stir fry not over cooked. Portions were reasonable but not as large as some places I have been. The rice was seasoned well and the stir fried beef was good, it was very tender, however, it was salty. The are parts of the restaurant that are lit well and others that seem dark. Booths are not as comfortable as they look and there was some piano music playing on the speakers that did nothing for the restaurant. When we finished we waited for someone to come by and get the dishes so we could order desert, the waiter was eating his dinner so we hoped someone else would notice. We placed the plates on top of each other to show we were done, the manager went to another couples table cleaned the table and asked if they wanted dessert we were the only other people at the restaurant. We waited for 5 minutes and went to the counter to pay, if someone came to our table we would have ordered another dish and desert. I am not going to down rate the restaurant for my perception of the service, maybe the service seemed that way because the manager was trying to give us space and waited to be called upon. However, food was not bad but for the price and the place attempting to do fine dining but failing ( waiters wearing jeans, paper napkins ) it was nothing special. Save yourself from paying a tip and just get takeout.

Excellent service, amazing food. The restaurant was full and the food came out quickly and was delicious! The staff were attentive and took great care of us. Will definitely go back! A must try restaurant in Barrie.

Terrible terrible service and even worst attitude. We have been to this restaurant before and we usually have a good experience but i think the owners have changed because we saw all new faces today. It was taking a long time for our order eventhough we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we complained the lady ( new face......previous managers were very sweet) made a face and had the worst attitude as if she was doing us a favour by "allowing" us to eat there. The manager didn't have the attitude but gave us ridiculous explanation including that its not fast food restaurant which i thought was offensive. Wasted another 10 min instead of making sure the kitchen was working on our food. We decided to just leave. Waste of an hour we could have used to eat somewhere else.

That was my first and last time there! The place was not busy but we had to get up to get the waiters attention a couple times. The waiters seemed more concerned about serving the table of eight instead of us two. Found it cold, a draft coming from the floor. Laughter and voices coming from other tables carried easily in the small room and therefore found it loud and very annoying. Wasn't impressed with the food at all. The banana dessert was a waste of a perfectly good banana! Sorry, won't be recommending this place at all. Oh and one more thing, the seats were very uncomfortable. Next time Swiss Chalet ... never disappointed with them!

Hair in the food! Not once BUT TWICE! My husband and I were out on a date and before going to a movie we went to Green Mango for dinner in Barrie. Right after the waiter brought the drinks out I noticed a long dark hair on the glass so of course, the waiter took it back. I ordered soup which used to be my favorite, yet again , I saw another hair in the soup! That was my worst experience in a restaurant, as the manager was present at the time and never even acknowledged the mistake his staff made. We paid for our food but never do I want to experience that again!
