Green Lake Pitch & Putt holds a special place in my heart. It was here that I first picked up a golf club. A friend and their father invited me to join them for a round, and from that moment, I was hooked. This course is everything right about golf—inviting, inclusive, and accessible. Nestled next to Seattle landmark Green Lake, the course is a gem for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The simple layout has several old-growth trees adding to its charm and challenge. These majestic trees not only provide a beautiful backdrop but also make each hole unique and memorable. What sets Green Lake Pitch & Putt apart is its welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, you’ll feel right at home. The staff is friendly, and there is a great community vibe. It’s a place where you can enjoy a casual round with friends or work on your short game in a relaxed setting. If you are short on time, pay attention to the time of day/week…it can be pretty busy, as it was when I visited in June with some family. Green Lake Pitch & Putt continues to be a favorite spot for a quick, enjoyable round when I’m in town. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend trying it.

Pretty much the Augusta of the PNW, 😊 So sad this is the course's last season. Shame on the city for selling out one of Seattle's last non-corporate conglomerate recreational options. Course was always in great shape considering the climate and budget restraints. Some golfers here fail to grasp golf etiquette and how to play 'ready golf', but is a true beginner course, so that's to be expected. Amazingly warm and friendly staff has always made me feel home here. I'm gonna miss you GLP&P!!! 😭💔

I love love love Greenlake Pitch and Putt and don't go nearly enough. Took it up in 2019 with the family and was a great post-pandemic activity besides. I love the low fees, urban setting, and low stakes. Easy to let people play through, and nice practice area where you can try putting and pitching. So inspiring that I even tried a driving range out (not quite as much fun) and took a golf lesson. If you ever thought "hey, I might like golf, but don't want to be embarrassed trying it!" this place is for you. Parking near tennis courts relatively easy with a bit of a walk. Plan to have a bit of a wait if you come at a busy time, but as I said, practicing is fun too and you can always create mini-challenges for yourself in the practice area.

I love this place! Perfect for a date or a casual round with your friends who don't golf much. Super accessible, well maintained, friendly staff and a fun little course. Can I say more??

Great place to go and have fun on a budget! Friendly people going to play which makes it even more fun and the staff were quick! We were able to start playing within about 10-15 minutes of checking in.

This is one of my favorite places in all of Seattle! I come here every weekend with my partner and it's the highlight of our week every week. All the joys of golf in a bite sized package that can be easily enjoyed in an hour, maybe an hour and a half if it's busy. Great way to enjoy the game without making an entire morning of it.

I love Pitch & Putt! It's so much fun for golf buffs and those like me who have no business wielding a club. It's a very important place to my friend group and the community at large. Beautiful location right by the lake. Locally owned by great people. Let's give them a bunch of business this season as they celebrate 40+ years serving Seattle!

So happy and fortunate this place exists. Star off for price. Seattle golf courses 9 holes more affordable but I suppose this place has the location. Appreciate bathroom and clean clubhouse. Just wish they maintained the greens here. Not ideal place to practice putting (outside of the putting area). For pitching great practice but that’s free at most golf courses so……
