Green Eggplant

Extra large portions. Barely got through half my serving. We got the light menu selections. My penne was well put together and the pasta was perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken shish-kabob and it was worth the wait. Great location and a nice street side patio. Oh, super nice complimentary bread and dips!

Went there recently with some friends. Insanely long menu made it pretty hard to pick what to eat. I shared a egg Benny and their Mexican burger. The egg Benny wasn’t great, the egg wasn’t cooked well (a bit over cooked) and it was on some sort of multigrain toast. The burger was alright, it had a homemade taste to it. Don’t know if I’d go back. One of my friends got a pasta, she thought it was decent.

I want to be fair and practical its not recommended especially when I visit many restaurants in different parts of the world and different cities 1- its so so so expensive even worse if you pay by credit they will add extra charges on top of your bill, it’s a scam 2- service are so poor, and the male was so racist he never assisted us and go to the other parts of the table 3- portion is so small unless you choose the very expensive dishes, like the pictures people shared is at least 30-40CAD which is way expensive even for the portions served 4- they charged us 18% by force because we are a group. Seems they are sure their service will be bad for the group 5- we spent almost 1 hr until we made the order, 30 mins to eat almost 45 mins to get a bill 6- we were a group of 40+ and they decided to assign only one person to help us. Even with 18% they didn’t elevate the service a little This restaurant doesn’t reach by any way to the basic standards of restaurants given their extremely high prices its not recommended at all.

I was walking by and saw someone eating what looked like a delicious sandwich. I continued my walk and when I returned there were several groups of people being seated. Somehow I got lost in the crowd and had to wait for a few minutes for service, but the waitress Isabella was very gracious and took care of me quickly and brought out a delicious avocado chicken sandwich with fries which I thoroughly enjoyed. When she asked me how it was I said it was tasty but messy! I finished off with a slice of cheesecake. Wonderful service from Isabella, enjoyed my brunch immensely and will be back anytime I can.

Stumbled upon this eatery at random on a cold day. The place was cozy & comfy (though the bathroom in the basement on the cold side but maybe that’s to be expected…). We ordered two plates were recommended in the menu and they were both very good. Excellent value and tasty. The burger patties were well seasoned. 😋 the breakfast dish was hearty and light.

I recently came back here and was treated to old familiar flavours! I actually used to come here more often when I was younger, and always enjoyed it. What I really love about this place is the fresh bread and amazing dips they serve before your order. A wide variety of drinks, appetizers and entrées really make this place worth your money, in my opinion. My favourite is their chicken shish kebab, but I'm excited to come back and try something new. The very friendly staff and beautiful decor also make this establishment a key Beaches hot spot!

I had great memories of green eggplant but it just really wasn’t the best. Had the chicken parm and while it was a huge portion, it just wasn’t so great. Perhaps it was the delivery but don’t know if I’d order again. Returned for a second try and we dined in this time. Much, much better experience. Great portion sizes and much fresher and tastier.

Came here for the first time this week and very impressed with the food. I enjoy diner food and this reminds me of those old fashioned diners they don’t have around anymore. Food was delicious, came with complimentary 3 house dips ( loved the eggplant and dips) so good!!! I ordered lamb with grilled veggies, Caesar salad & my partner ordered rainbow trout rice and Caesar salad, will be back to try other items in the menu!
