Attended a private event on a Monday evening and the food was fantastic. Not sure if the food was only for the event or if it is available on the dinner menu. Specifically the fish and steak bite were phenomenal. Not sure about the price but definitely recommended. Only critique would be the ice cream they gave me for my birthday tasted just like a scoop of sour cream. I would stay away from that.

I'd been looking forward to trying this place for a while, because of the great reviews and recommendations. I gotta say, I was let down pretty hard. First the decor and the vibe in this place were great, very hipster vibe, but very welcoming to all kinds. The service wasn't terrible, but not the strongest quality in my experience. With a group of 6 I would've expected a little bit more check up on the table. Finally, the food was the biggest let down here. So the group tried a few different things. The 'hot & spicy' chicken and waffles, which came with high praise from the waitress, didn't ever have a trace of black pepper, let alone spicy. The steak and eggs would've done well without the eggs and with more steak. The Tortilla de Espanola had a small portion size, but the tortilla was good and salad was better. The tostadas were a hit along with the BLT. All in all, probably won't be going back willing for food, but the place looked cool.

Super cool atmosphere. The menu eccentric so it might not be a great place for a picky eater. Char grilled octopus was good, so was the cucumber and avocado salad. I enjoyed the chicken two ways, but my companion thought the sauce tasted like black licorice. Personally, I'm not a fan of black licorice but I enjoyed the sauce. The Landscape Painter drink was excellent. Didn't try any others because I enjoyed that one so much.

This place is amazing. The food is so so good and the staff were exceptional. We had to catch a flight and they accommodated a full experience in well under an hour. Best drinks and best overall vibe we found in Detroit!

The ambiance was great. Very rustic theme. Our server was absolutely incredible. The food had excellent presentation but taste was just okay. Price seemed pretty high for the portions. Overall, pretty good experience. Worth trying at least once.

Love their Spanish inspired menu. We are at the bar and the bartenders were very helpful in describing the dishes to help us narrow our choices. Kielbasa, Smoked eel brandade, and tomahawk pork chop were all excellent! Nice beer and wine selection too!

The crispy potatoes in the steak and eggs were amazing. I didn't like the biscuits and wild mushroom gravy. Coffee was good. Doughnut was alright. Update: upgraded the rating to 5 stars because on subsequent visits the food got better and they are literally the only restaurant that can make an egg over medium properly.

The food here is unreal. Their menu is seasonal and changes around a lot, but one of my favorite dishes the fried chicken two ways is always available and is absolutely amazing. It includes a chicken breast, fried chicken leg, and greens. The cocktails here are always golden and made with top-quality ingredients. Gold Cash Gold has happy hour everyday of the week and includes a few snacks like a side of mac and cheese, $2 miller high life, $3 house wine, & $4 cocktails. GCG also has brunch, which is just as fantastic as its dinner menu. I tried the biscuits and gravy, which was really good.
