Glockenhof

We absolutely loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer! It is a short walk from the train station, so we could easily bring our luggage and just walk back and forth. The front desk staff are so professional, kind, and helpful. ||The beds were super comfortable, bathrooms updated and clean, rooms quiet! We had a Family Room which gave us plenty of room to spread out but still be together. We had one issue with a bunk bed not having been cleaned and they immeditaly remedied the situation with profuse apologies. ||Everyone's favorite part was arguably the buffet breakfast. What a spread! They have everything you can think of and it is all delicious. Drinks came with great service. ||We also had a drink in the attached bar which we'd recommend for a nice, quick stop. This hotel was a splurge for us (we planned for a night after the NightJet!) and it was worth every penny. Please stay here!

I had a fantastic stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and luxurious, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The location is extremely convenient for exploring the city. It is also dog-friendly (not that I have a dog as yet, but I do notice this sort of thing). The food at the restaurant was excellent too. |Highly recommended if you are visiting Zurich.

Fantastic service, super well located- kids room was a success. We arrived and the receptionist mentioned he had available a family room with a kids area, which was wonderful- kids loved it. Bathroom was very nice, beds are comfortable- pillows a little too soft - the hotel is located right in the center, they offer valet parking. Breakfast was average.

We had a lovely stay at Glockenhof. The service was extraordinary, and all the people were very nice. Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options. Location is also excellent. You can walk around Old Town, eat, and get back to the hotel within 3 hours. Wonderful stay

We were only in Zurich for one night but the Glockenhof was a great place to stay. At check-in they'd upgraded us to a nicer room with a separate sitting area which was very nice. The location is excellent.... walking distance from the train station, the shopping areas, many restaurants, the old town area and the Lake Zurich is at the end of the street. Breakfast was nice in the morning with plenty of options and great service. I look forward to coming back and being able to spend more than one night in this hotel.

Over all a good experience. Staff was extremely nice, and the breakfast was good. It was centrally located. Can walk to the train station and plenty of shopping and food around. Here is what Family's need to know. We booked the Quadruple room which we thought would be a bigger room with more space and of course beds. It is just a standard room and they bring in roll away cots. The room was very cramped with 2 adults and 2 children and luggage. There is a bathtub and shower which was nice, but there is no privacy as the entire bathroom is made of glass, the toilet area is frosted glass at least. I will be honest for what we paid I did expect alittle more out of the room. If your traveling light and need a centrally located place to stay and cost is not a factor then this place is great.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel!||It is in a great location, in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the main train station. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Clean and beautiful rooms, as well as a fabulous breakfast spread!||I wish I remembered the name of the woman at reception who was so wonderful. She gave me advice on where next to go in Switzerland, tried to help me find plus size clothing stores as our luggage hadn't arrived, and overall was wonderful.||Our stay included breakfast which had wonderful coffees, the best yogurt I've ever had, and other fresh options such as bread, eggs, meats and cheeses and juices.||There is a little garden area that we didn't get the time to sit in, but it looked lovely.||For our 1 year old, our room already had a crib and super cute Dumbo bedding. It felt thoughtful and accommodating.||We would love to return some day!

The receptionists (Enea, and one more forgetting the name) are so so helpful. Writing this even as we are still staying here and we check out tomorrow. ||The breakfast ladies are amazing as well. Smooth and seamless service. ||Even though the people of zurich are not too friendly in the least the staff makes up for it. ||Always staying here if in zurich

Wonderful hotel in a very vibrant district Many things to do within walking distance, trains and bus rides galore Breakfast and dinner was included as we are on a tour but would definitely return The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating

We had a wonderful experience at the Glockenhof. Filippo was a fantastic and accommodating host for us in the lobby. He went above and beyond to make our family feel so welcome. Filippo is amazing!!

Great place to stay. Nice staff, clean rooms, wonderful food. It was our first night in Europe and a great way to start our vacation.

Clean and spacious rooms. Courteous staff and fabulous location. I loved staying here. Oh and the breakfast is included and is pretty good.

This hotel is perfect for your stay in Zürich... Great location, nice and modern rooms. 2 things I missed... Breakfast buffet was just standard, would have expected a bit more. No WiFi in the hotel rooms or area... an absolute "no go"! Reception confirmed that WiFi will be installed in a week... Let's hope and see!
