4.5 stars. Really delicious food! Mains come in large portions- you could share 3 between 4 people perhaps. Water is free but there’s no complimentary bread, which is irritating. Service is reasonable. Pricing is overall on the high side - but again, at least it’s yummy and portions (for mains) are decent.
The focaccia bread is tasty. One serving is two slices and can be a small serving for 6 people. However, this should probably be complimentary with the meal.
Burrata was abit disappointing for the price. The nuts in it were nice but the cheese and tomatoes were abit bland. Grilled octopus was tasty but could be more tender.
Rump steak was really delicious. The potatoes with it were great too. Recommend.
Side of fries was large, taste ok.
Pastas were all tasty. Gnocchi, Squid ink fettuccine, and vodka conchiglie were our favorites but that might be down to personal preference.
Tiramisu was really good. One portion can be sufficient for 4 to 6 (unless you have a heavy sweet tooth).
Side note: bathrooms are decent here and there are 4 very large stalls here (for what is a relatively small restaurant). That’s a positive I guess.
Reservations strongly advised - not many seats here.
We had a good dinner here and would return in the future. Recommend!

The highlight was the rigatoni pasta, steak and tiramisu!! The service was great, the food came out all the same time! The vibes were immaculate and everything on the menu was divine! Would love to try other dishes on the menu and I would come back again ❤️ great place for friends night, date, dinner etc!

I can't recommend enough the set menu. The food was delicious, and we could try all the signature dishes for a good price.
The entrees and beef main were our favourites! Definitely coming back!

Nothing memorable. The pasta and tiramisu are very ordinary. They are far inferior to Ragazzi and Fabbrica Pasta. The sauce tastes very bland. The tiramisu is also bland. It does not have the roasted nut aroma of Fabbrica's tiramisu, the layering is very poor. For the taste, this restaurant is a bit expensive. I will not come next time.

Went here on a date with my boyfriend and the atmosphere was very lively. The burrata tasted so yummy and creamy, especially paired with the focaccia. I would say the pastas were okay, but overall still tasty!

I recently visited this place and, unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food left much to be desired.
The vodka pasta was chewy, lacking the delicate texture you’d hope for in a good Italian dish.
The arancini balls were underwhelming, not crisp enough on the outside and a bit lacking in flavor. Even the burrata, a dish I was looking forward to based on the reels on social media didn't stand out—it was average at best.
Even the truffle oil served with the focaccia was disappointing—it didn’t resemble the rich, aromatic truffle oil you’d expect.
It While the service was pleasant, the food didn't leave a lasting impression.

Absolutely mouthwatering food! Authentic, delicious and so moreish. Wonderful for a catch up lunch or dinner with friends - casual with great ambience, a lovely unassuming restaurant with warm, friendly service. 10/10 will be dining here again.

I had read good reviews so was looking forward to eating at Giuls, but unfortunately left underwhelmed. The positives were the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the arancini balls which were cooked perfectly and full of flavour, but that’s where the positives drop off. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente in the vodka pasta, but the sauce tasted like it came from a satchel off the shelf and was heavy on the cream. I felt like it really lacked flavour. The ragu had more flavour, but still it didn’t wow me. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back.
