Gibson Bar

Very nice looking place and very friendly waitress. However as soon as I sat down I discovered there was no food left. This was at 20.15 (in Spain!) in a bar that is scheduled to close almost six hours later. This seems not to have been a one off as the waitress was not at all shocked to announce there was no food and recommended me to come again another evening earlier as food would likely finish. For a tapas bar in Spain I found this not quite fulfilling expectations

From the outside this bar has a lovely atmosphere, people are enjoying themselves and it’s really inviting. It’s a real shame that the staff completely ruin it, it could be a truly lovely bar. We entered and there was a spare table but people had moved the chairs. We were happy to stand as it was very busy. As we entered I asked for a beer and the bartender was extremely rude and kept repeating ‘’what’’ in a very aggressive way. After I ordered he asked me if I was sitting out side I answered yes and he sent me outside. We headed outside and again I was confront with another man who again was extremely rude, he asked me what I wanted again in a very unpleasant way. After returning back inside they were dismissive and told us we had to leave as we couldn’t stand there and used his hand to tell us to go. As I mentioned it’s very unfortunate, the place has a lovely atmosphere but the staff completely ruin it. We will not be returning or recommending it to anyone!

Great cocktail bar, great cocktail choices, we had a tequila sunrise & cosmopolitan. They also give you a little bowl of crisps on the side. Lovely outdoor seating area, in a nice quiet area

Great experience and happy to have heard South African accents supporting the Boks against Wales! Big screens everywhere but will make sure to book a table next time, rather than just arriving.

We came here for cocktails and although the seating area outside was completely full the inside was just as nice. It was interesting to look at all of the art work on the walls whilst we had a glass of wine and a very well made Margarita. I particularly liked the fact they were dog friendly and got to pet one of the dogs sitting at the table beside us. Really nice, not too loud, bar

Nice place, nice staff, nice drinks, nice tapas. And fairly priced. I can recommend the mixed plate. Definitely worth it and goes well with some Tinto de Verano
