Le Georges

We booked at Georges during our recent trip to Paris. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the Centre Pompidou, offering breathtaking views of the Paris skyline. As we booked for dinner, that night we were not lucky to see Eiffel Tower completely yet still we had a nice shot (see photo) The ambiance is chic and modern, creating a perfect blend of elegance. The staff were incredibly attentive. As for the food, each dish was a great. Price per person is around 80-100 EUR. Reservation is needed.

The restaurant boasts a great view and a pleasant atmosphere, which adds to its charm. However, the price-to-quality ratio of the food felt a bit off. The dishes seemed overpriced for the quality delivered. The staff member who served me was friendly and efficient, which was a highlight of the experience. I visited on a Monday night and dined alone. Upon requesting a table by the window, I was told those were reserved for parties of four, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. The reasoning given was that the restaurant would fill up soon, but by the time I left, it remained relatively empty. This policy felt unnecessarily rigid and detracted from the overall experience. While the view and ambiance were enjoyable, the inflexibility in seating arrangements—especially given the restaurant’s emptiness—left a negative impression. Coupled with the high prices for average food quality, I would hesitate to recommend this spot unless you prioritize the view over the dining experience.

Great location with amazing views of Paris. Had some issues with our server who disappeared for an hour until we complained and someone else came to assist us. Note that they will sit two couples at a four top table which is unusually for US tourists but standard practice in France. Food was good, but not amazing. You come here for the view and the vibe anyway!

I had a wonderful dining experience, The food was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and presented beautifully. The service was equally impressive attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel truly valued as guests. To top it all off, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Spent New Year’s Eve here. Great atmosphere, 1st class service, delicious food, and some of the best sight lines in Paris with views of the fireworks over the Arc de Triumph and of course the Eiffel Tower. Highly recommended.

If you are making a reservation here it should be solely for the views and vibe. The food was extremely mediocre and lacked seasoning and the bathroom cleanliness was equivalent to that of the metro or a public restroom on the street. Our servers were kind and hospitable but for the price you are solely paying for the views.

All of the food and the wine was so good. Loved the view. The staff was fabulous!

We were visiting from California, and George’s absolutely delivered on a fantastic Parisian experience! Just a spectacular view of the city below us. Our waiter Paul was charming and attentive, and the food was delicious. Many thanks to the entire staff… Merci Beaucoup!
